We really enjoyed our stay at 'The Shack'. It is a lovely place in a nice quiet spot close to the beach, where it just so happens our son caught his first 'big fish'. Hardwicke Bay is lovely, no services but Pt Turton or Minlaton close by. The Shack is lovely inside, good beds, fully self-contained, fresh, clean and fast internet! Could easily spend a week or more there. 5 min to beach. would stay again for sure.

Would suggest adding some pedestal fans to the bedrooms as there is no AC in those rooms and it could get quite hot at night during the summer.

We really enjoyed our stay at the shack. Walking distance to the local playground which was very handy. The home was well equipped, clean and in a great location. We would definitely recommend this place to others.

Big enough back yard for kids/entertainment. Accomodates for family of x5, possibly even x6 people. Main bedroom mattress is for those that like a firm/hard bed.
Local beach has too nuch seaweed & no waves.
It's a shame to not be told about having to bring EVERYTHING (pillows, linen, towels, kitchen and handtowels, bath mat, toilet paper, cooking utensils) at time of booking, but infact told only days beforehand.
Balls of fluff/dust were evident upon checking in.
We didnt like having to clean everything (shower, toilet....Everything) and put everything back to how the home was.
Vaccuum cleaner doesnt work properly, due to poor suction.

What a stunning location with unbelievable beaches, great crabbing and quiet neighbourhood.
Perfect location, quick walk to the beach, great layout and the deck was the best. Thanks again, can’t wait for our next stay!

The property was in a convenient and quiet location with a lovely backyard and outdoor area. The inside living area and bedrooms were spacious with a nice TV. However the shower was quite small and facilities in the kitchen including the oven specifically needs updating.

We had an amazing stay. Was what we all need was just some peace and quite from our busy lives.
Only recommended note we all said a shade blocking afternoon shade would work amazing as the deck is unusable from around 4 till 6 as sun's right in our faces but great for tanning and also some fans in room but other that the place was amazing we loved it ❤ and had a beautiful time.
