Loved our vacation home- was absolutely perfect in every way

Location was good. The kitchen essentials were lacking. No paper towels, potato peeler, limited trash bags, dish soap laundry soap and dishwasher pods. Had to purchase additional supplies for the week. Total guests, 8. Six adults and 2 children.

Very happy with rental

The home was absolutely beautiful and was a short walk to the beach. It is approximately one mile from Bridge Street as well. We loved that we could walk over to the community’s pier by the bay to watch the sunrise. We also took advantage of the community’s heated pool and hot tub. We would definitely recommend this home.

Property was in a great location close to beaches. Loved having the wagon, beach chairs, and toys for the kids! Enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning!!

My girlfriend and out five children had an excellent time staying at this condo. It was conveniently located to shopping, beaches, and the bridge to the mainland. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property.

We had the best family vacation in AMI. The rental property was in a great location- beach across the road, walking distance to restaurants, directly in front of a Trolly stop, and a lovely boardwalk leading to the bay. The rental was clean, and we really enjoyed having a garage to load and unload stuff. We will definitely be back next year.

The townhome is beautiful and equipped with EVERYTHING you need for you and your family, its a home away from home; kitchen is equipped with all the tools needed and thensome, the bathrooms, the bedrooms, family room, simply comfortable and well kept. The garage had everything from umbrellas to beach chairs, a tent and a refrigerator. The beach is literally accross the street super close with clear beautiful blue waters. Pretty much you don’t have to take anything. The pool was really close and also the BBQ which we used. Overall we absolutely loved it and are planning on coming back next year.

THE GOOD - Location is great! Across the street from the beach and near free trolley stops. The beds were comfortable and the majority of the unit seemed in good repair. THE BAD - Prior to arrival, we sent messages requesting a list of beach items included with rental. (We've used VRBO many times and have always been given a list of items provided/not provided.) Our requests for info were never really answered. The replies just directed us to a local beach equipment rental business. Since renting would cost the same as buying and we didn't want to waste half a day shopping for beach gear, we ended up shipping chairs, a canopy, cooler and wagon only to find out when we arrived that the condo already had most of it! A $600 expense that could have been easily avoided if the management weren't so lazy in their correspondence. When we arrived the main floor powder room had dirty towels and garbage leftover from the previous renter. It made us wonder if other cleaning corners had been missed or cut... The master shower had missing lightbulbs, towel rack and shower handle (so you had to open/close the glass door with the palm of you hand.) No place to hang damp swimsuits or towels and nowhere to place shampoo/bodywash. A week before we arrived, we saw that the unit had been put up for sale. During our 7-day stay our privacy was interrupted by two different relator showings. Little things for sure, but unexpected when paying $600+/night. We'll stay elsewhere next trip.

Our vacation at the 1429 Bermuda Bay Resort was absolutely wonderful! The unit was clean, nicely decorated, fully stocked with dishes, pots & pans, etc. and plenty of room to accommodate eight of us. The view of the bay and ocean from the front deck was just beautiful. The location is great with the pool, bay and beach only a few steps away. Instructions were clear and given in plenty of time. The canopy and wagon were a bonus that we used every day at the beach. A shower caddy in the master bath, a few hooks in the sink area and a TV in the third bedroom would have been nice. We all had a great time and would definitely recommend staying here for vacation.

Great place, would return.

Had a great stay and would stay again. The townhouse was very clean, and everything was in good shape. The linens were very clean, and the air quality was very good too. Some reviews say the kitchen isn’t well equipped. I didn’t find that to be the case. All appliances seemed very new, and the kitchen had everything we needed. We cooked a good amount during our stay. We will definitely check the availability of this place for our next trip back.

This property needs updating. The carpet on steps were filthy. Windows were very dirty. Not worth what I paid. Would never re rent

Overall, this condo was a great fit for our group for our Spring Break vacation. Pros and cons listed below: Pros 1. Proximity to Bradenton Beach is great, it's right across the street. Water views & nightly sunsets. 2. Trolley shuttle stops at the entrance of the driveway- it brings you up/down Gulf Dr. 3. Walking distance to restaurants/shops. Wicked Cantina - was our group's favorite. 4. Full size fridge/freezer. Plenty of cupboard space. One roll of paper towel more than enough. 5. Spread over two floors. Bunks are made for smaller children. We had two teenagers in them. Spare bedroom was good and Master bedroom had a balcony & connected bath. Very nice to spread out & not be on top of each other. 6. Pool was a nice amenity. Never 'too full' & had plenty of room for chairs for it being smaller 7. Cheryl from the rental agency was very attentive. When we had issues - she responded back quickly & sent maintenance who responded immediately. Cons 1. Other reviews were correct about the silverware, plates etc. It is fairly old. Tupperware & ziplocks would be a nice touch to add for leftovers for eating in. We left ours for the next renter. 2. Trashbags-same -1 bag per can so you have to purchase. We left ours for the next renter. 3. Dishwasher tabs. Same. One is given -One per day would be better. 4. Other reviewers also correct on the master bedroom toilet - it does not flush properly. 5. We had a few issues & maintenance came over immediately to resolve: a missing toilet paper holder; trash had not been picked up; a previous renter left clothes. 6. We were not able to get in until after 4 due to the cleaners not being done - however when we did get in - we found clothes from the previous renters in the drawers. There were hairballs on the floor. The steps to both levels had not been vaccuumed. The stove had stains on it. Cheryl was very responsive and did offer to have the cleaners come back out at our convenience - but at that point we had already cleaned up ourselves. 7. While sitting at the pool - we saw a car pull up & take pics. The person then walked into the house. When approached - whe was a realtor who had permission from the owner - but we weren't aware. The rental agency called a wrong number to advise us they were coming. Overall - we had a good experience - but there is room for improvement for this place. It could very easily get 5 stars with a few upgrades.

The location was great. Plenty of beach chairs, umbrellas and toys for children. Because we were there for 2 weeks, the lack of a skillet was noticed. A call to Anna Maria Life, the management company, saw a nice one, new, dropped off the same day.

Bermuda Bay is a lovely group of townhouses right across from beach! The pool is lovely and the walk to the bay is easy and beautiful. The unit 1429 is ok. The kitchen is poorly equipped so if you like to cook you won't be happy. Everything is old, knives, pans, dishes etc. However appliances are nice. Bathroom are original to the house. Master bathroom toilet does not flush well, shower door is loose and sink spigot is hard to turn on and off. A few new beach chairs would also be nice. All of these items I mentioned are easily fixed and should be as you continue to raise the rent.

Due to Southwest Airlines flight cancellation, we were in need of a new destination for our family vacation. We found the perfect place at AMI and an amazing place to stay thanks to Greg! The townhouse has everything you need and the location directly across from the beach makes for a relaxing time. We had a wonderful time and will be back.

Excellent location. Short walk to the beach, great restaurants and entertainment. No need to leave the island

Overall this was a great property! Across from the beach! Great set up! I loved the townhouse. We could not use the front lock, I called customer service and reported it, but they did not follow back up. When I called back in they said there was nothing wrong with the lock. No one in our party could figure out the lock and it was weird to have to inquire about a service issue that was addressed- overall a very minor thing as we just used the garage door instead! Otherwise a perfect trip! very quiet and well managed.

Property is nice and clean. Location is perfect, across street from private beach. Beach is beautiful! Close to shopping and food. Location location! The only concern we had was the pots and pans are old and very used. Rusty whisker in drawer. Owner really needs to upgrade these kitchen items, saw this same complaint from prior renters. Figured this would’ve been taken care of as not a big expense. But overall a very nice place.

We loved our time in Anna Maria and especially at this property. the proximity to the beach and the bay was perfect, amenities worked well, very spacious and very well kept.

We had a wonderful and memorable stay at Anna Maria Island. One of our favorite beach vacations ever! Bermuda Bay condo #1429 was lovely and we can't wait to return. The unit is clean, updated,and had every amenity we needed. We couldn't have asked for an easier beach access. Our only regret is not having known about this property sooner 😊

Great location and perfect for 2 families! We had a great time. The walk to the beach was super easy and tons of beach toys were found in the garage. Thank you for letting us stay!

Beautiful place beautiful condo. My only complaint was the dishes and cookware were very old and outdated. Overall we had an amazing vacation and will definitely be back!

While the inside of the condo is great, the listing boasts the patio and views, which we didn't get to use because of the chain-smoking neighbors. It was so bad at times that we couldn't even open the sliding door without getting a whiff right away. If you stay here, the condos are so close to each other that you should just hope you don't get smokers next door. Management/Condo board should consider only allowing smoking out on the back porches. Even our kids would come in as soon as the neighbors started smoking because it was so strong..
