Perfectly placed with a short walk to the beach as well as to stores, food and other delights. This cottage is beautiful inside and out. We were able to see a doe and fawn in the backyard on the final morning as a bonus. 11 out of 10 stars.

Amazing location, just a few houses down from the lake. We stayed here with another family and had plenty of space. The 3 bathrooms made it comfortable for 8 of us to stay. Would definitely stay her again!

The property was great. Just a few short steps down to the lake and a few short steps to the shops and restaurants of Glen Arbor. It was super convenient to all the activities in Sleeping Bear Dunes as well. We enjoyed the backyard and fire pit. We will definitely come again!

Reviewer Comments: We loved every second of our time at Manitou Porches!Located steps from the public beach and steps from everything Glen Arbor has to offer, it's also a quiet place of rest, porch coffee, backyard grilling and campfires, and comfort. Our family spent a week exploring the area trails, restaurants, beaches, dunes, and towns along M-22; and Manitou Porches is the perfect central location to easily access the sites or to spend days ditching the car and walking and biking around Glen Arbor. All communication, including the check-in process, was seamless, the house was spotless, and the hosts have included everything needed for a comfortable stay. We wanted to permanently move-in from the first moment we walked in, and later found ourselves searching for "criticisms" like. . "I wish we had chip clips. I wish we had loaf pans" (Spoiler: We found every little thing we mentioned, so we were left with nothing to critique!) Our group of four adults and one five-year old are already excited to come back and to share this gem with friends.
