The house was lovely, with a breath-taking lake view. Was a gorgeous property with every little detail taken care of.
Close enough to the action of the lake, yet far enough to be serene.

This home is beautiful and has a lovely relaxed feel. The view is gorgeous and the host Laura was super responsive. The little touches spread across the home make it super welcoming and truly “a home away from home”.

Thrushole has spectacular views of Keuka Lake. Laura is a great host and was quick to answer our questions. The house was clean and comfortable with large bedrooms and well appointed kitchen. It is situated close to Penn Yan and is an easy drive to many of the area wineries. We'll worth a visit.

I came up to the Keuka Lake for a friends wedding and left so impressed that I want to come back. Our property was very beautiful and comfortable. Our family settled in with ease right away. The owners were very helpful and responsive with text messages to our questions and requests. I would highly recommend this property as a place to stay for comfort and convenience to the downtown area, restaurants and lakes.

Overall, very nice place. Fantastic view of the lake and surrounding area, including the college. Beds were ok. Wish there was a king in one of the rooms. Appreciated the ability to do laundry.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Thrushole during our visit at the Finger Lakes area. The cabin was nice and clean with an amazing sunrise view of Keuka Lake from the deck. The gardens were lovely for a stroll in the afternoon. Laura, our host, took great care of us while we stayed at the cabin. We'll definitely return again!

Perfect long weekend home base between Penn Yan and our friend’s cottage on East Bluff. Hosts were very thoughtful about every detail! Gorgeous deck and grounds too.

We had a great time on our stay, the view of the lake was amazing and very quiet solitude. House was nicely updated but still had the character of an older home. Setting felt very country and even saw some foxes, and deer but was less than 15 minutes to nearby restaurants and stores. Highly recommend this house, owner was easy and responsive to communicate with.

We enjoyed our stay in this home, and got a good workout walking around the yard. Watching the firefly’s in the garden and star gazing from the deck were amazing.

The property and home was very clean, beautifully decorated, and comfortable—with more amenities than I have ever seen in a rental! From linens and toiletries to spices in the cabinet and the cutest s’mores kit, the host thought of every detail! We loved the lake view and balcony too! Location was perfect for visiting wineries but also was quiet and secluded. Highly recommend!

I am all about reviews but this property only had one review but I still booked it looking at the location and the pictures. We didn’t wanna be too close to the water and wanted a quiet retreat. Our kids loved the basement with the gaming room. The bedrooms were on the second level and the main level had the living room with a big smart tv (we loved it), big open kitchen concept and a beautiful deck. We were pleasantly surprised that the kitchen was stocked with spices which was a plus. On our 3rd day the temperatures hit the mid 80’s and being on top of the hill road, heat was intense and despite the listing mentioning there were window ac units, there were none. We were just given portable fans. There were only 2 fans for 3 bedrooms. Opening windows didn’t help. Our friends in the add on room above the garage didn’t sleep at all that night. Day 4 we were ready to leave asap because the heat was unbearable. As much as I loved the place and I am always sad going back home from vacation, I wanted to go back home. We did see a portable window ac unit in the closet but not sure why owners didn’t put it considering temperatures were going to hit high. All in all I would go back which I do plan on but not without confirming that the window ac unit is in place.
