Pros: Beautiful place, huge property snd a great location just a few minutes walk to the beach/town, and a great view of the sea. The pool was big, very warm, and perfect for our large family! Very glad there were two fridges!
Cons: The lack of air conditioning in any of the bedrooms made it VERY hot in most of the rooms, even with ceiling fans. There was a portable A/C unit which helped but it could only be used in one of the rooms since it needs a window to vent to, and was not super efficient since the window had to be open to vent. The noise from the highway down below wasn’t an major issue (and we expected it), but without it there it would have been much more peaceful in the evenings. Ants were also a problem. Most were outside but some managed to get inside and got in some of the beds at night. Also, the dishwasher did not work for us so we were forced to wash the dishes by hand the whole week.

This is a mature Villa with all the facilities you need on holiday. A couple of small issues were solved immediately by the owner, who communicated with us throughout our stay and ensured we had everything we needed. Although it is near the main road, the pool area was secluded and there was not much noise. The pool itself was a great size and was kept very clean. The kitchen area was well equipped and there were plenty of different seating areas for socialising. It takes only 10 minutes to walk into La Calla de Mijas and the nearby restaurants in the urbanisation were lovely. Although It is not a modern place which some people like, it retains its eclectic charm and has a homely feel. Thank you to Veronique for being a good host.

Pros: Bra kontakt med värden innan ankomst som också hjälpte oss att ordna transfer. Mycket fint hus med gott om plats. Stor pool som dock inte är uppvärmd. Bra köksutrustning. Bra läge närhet till strand , affärer och byn Cala Mijas. Grannen till huset är en fin Indisk restaurang med mycket god mat.
Cons: Lite dåligt med duschhandukar men det fanns tvättmaskin.

Pros: Vi var 14 personer från 2 till 60 år. Det var jättefin villa med god plats för barn och vuxna. Poolen var väldigt uppskattad, särskilt av barnen. Nära till stranden och centrum.

Pros: We had an excellent stay.everything we needed was there One small issue when we arrived there were some cockroaches.we manged to get rid of them.Other wise we had a most enjoyable stay.

Pros: The house is beautiful, tastefully decorated. The kitchen fully equipped. The garden around the house is just stunning! Pool and it's sourroundings very cosy. Everything we needed was close, walking distance. Shops, beach, restaurants. Veronique was really friendly and helpful. Thanks for everything!

Pros: The Villa Dorada is a wonderful place to stay, with lots of space indoors and in the garden too. The pool was the star attraction for us, but the location, just outside the town and very close to the beach, was a great bonus. The villa is well equipped and beautifully furnished.

Pros: We enjoyed our stay from begin to the end. The villa is very well equipped. Around the villa we had enough space for all to do what we wanted to do as playing, relaxing, swimming, sunbathing.
For our group (parents, children and grand children) it fits for all. Parking lot at the entrance for our 3 rental cars was quiet and safe. Access to the beach is easy and just a short walk.
The view at the seaside was marvellous and the noise from the traffic was bearable.

Pros: We had a lovely 13 days holiday. We were 9 Peoples and enjoyed every day in the house and garden. The children loved the pool, while the adults enjoyed the sunbeds and the sun. The location was perfect for us. Only a 10 minutes walk and we were in La Cala, a cozy place with restaurants, shops and supermarkets. And not to forget the great beach promenade where we walked many kilometres fast every day. Another must, is to visit Mijas Pueblo, a very special town in the hight, where you can enjoy a meal, while you are enjoying the view. We visited also the Museum of art, where Picasso, Dali etc. was represented. We rented a car, so we had the posibility to visit Marbella and Fuengirola.
At all we were very satisfied, with the rental manager and the service, and a villa with all you can wish.

Pros: This villa and La Cala de Mijas had all we needed to celebrate my mothers 70th birthday. There was plenty of space so grownup could talk and relax while the kids were playing and enjoying the pool and all the toys already located at the Villa. We were sleeping 5 people in the master bedroom, 2 grownups and 3 children (1 baby bed and 2 extra beds). This worked for us.
The downside is the highway pretty close to the house. We slept with doors and window open, but there was a lot of noise from the road. We could have used the fan to keep the room colder, but since there were kids sleeping right under it, we did not use it.
Veronique is a perfect manager. She arranged transport to and from the Villa and also helped us getting a rental car for a nice price.
I would strongly recommend this villa for other families :)
