A group of five women rented this property for a long weekend and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Pirates Cove. The house was clean and the amenities were plentiful. You didn’t need to worry if you forgot something because it was provided by the host (who was always prompt in responding to our questions). Our location was perfect because it was only a short walk to the beach. We did take a beach wagon which helped tremendously. I would not hesitate to rent this house again.

The property was very clean and very well equipped. The owner was very responsive to a problem with one of the TV’s. We would definitely recommend this property!

Everything was clean, well-organized, and well-thought out. Lots of little things done right - from the labeled light switches to the collection of books related to the local beaches (my daughters loved the books on shells). Can't beat the location, right next to the beach. We will consider staying again. Many thanks to the owner and the property manager for being such good hosts.

What an amazing time we had staying at Pirate's Cove for a long girl's weekend away. The house has everything you need for a relaxing stay and the owner is an absolute doll to work with. The screened in porch is much bigger than it looks in the pictures and even in November we enjoyed sitting outside and watching the sunset over the other houses or you can take a short walk to the beach to see the beautiful sunrises and sunsets. All of the light switches and other things throughout the house are labeled so you don't have to guess which switch goes to which light which is really great when you have so many to choose from. The furniture and bedding are very comfortable, the place is spacious, and there's plenty of parking space. I could go on and on but I'm running out of typing space so I'll just say BOOK IT, you won't be disappointed!

The house is beautiful and is so well stocked. We had everything we needed for preparing meals as well as spending time at the beach. The beach access is a plus because there are no stairs :-) Such a great place to spend time with family!

The house was perfect for our family that came with us. The weather was perfect and a little cool but that didn't take away from the fun. This was the first time we stayed on this side of the beach but we found it a treasure since our walk was shorter than our stays on the south side. Loved it!

Very nice home in excellent condition. The property was very well equipped with every amenity we could possibly need. The owner was very accommodating and helpful when we communicated. The 3rd street location provides very easy beach access and is walking distance from the local stores.

Lovely place and vacation even despite two days of tropical storm. Host was extremely understanding when our car battery died on going home day . We were out of the cottage but we had to wait on Triple AAA 4 hours . Clean and well appointed cottage . We loved the porch , decks, and loft . We loved staying at this place .

The property was comfortable for sleeping and provided all that we needed for space to enjoy time together as extended family. The access to the beach and downtown is very convenient. We did not do very much food preparation all so I cannot comment on using the kitchen.

We stayed in Sunset Beach for a long Weekend over labor day! The property was gorgeous, clean , updated and perfect location!! Owner was responsive and helpful. Will be back ASAP!

Our annual multi-generational family vacation in Sunset was delightful thanks to our stay at Pirates Cove. Diana is a wonderful host and extremely organized. Everything is well labeled and she offers little touches to make your stay exceptional. Pirates Cove boasts wonderful accommodations (decor/comfy beds/skylights). We rented a beach cart to take walks/shell hunting at Tubbs Inlet and Bird Island, but you don't need one for the day to day. Pirates Cove is situated very close to walk to the 3rd Street beach access. It is a long ADA accessible ramp over the dunes and unlike the other accesses there are no steps that you have to hoist your beach carts over! YAY! We enjoyed stargazing from the top deck and enjoying meals and sitting in the rocking chairs on the screened in porch. The charcoal grill is perfect for cooking your favorite fish/picnic style meals. This home and its owners are true gems that we're missing already!

Stayed for a week, with a family 5 and one set of parents and we had plenty of room. The upstairs loft area was perfect and all the deck space was amazing. Amenities in the house were great and it was an easy walk to the beach! Can't ask for much better!

Great time with family

This property is bright, airy, and beachy - the perfect beach house for families and friends! The kitchen is well equipped for making meals, the bedrooms are spacious, and we were very impressed with how clean the entire property was. All of our communications and exchanges with the owners were excellent. We definitely hope to visit again!

Enjoyed our stay. Beautiful home and pleasant surroundings. Owner thought of every detail to make our stay enjoyable. The screened in front porch was the best part and enjoyed sipping and setting morning and night.

Pirate’s Cove has large roomy rooms, bright and open floor plan. Love the multiple sky lights. Breezy screened porch and multiple decks spaces.large loft and primary suite upstairs Large outdoor shower. Bonus refrigerator downstairs. Lots of extras! Updated furniture and decor. Well stocked kitchen with breakfast bar. I love the dishes and drink ware match.

From the moment you walk in the door of this beautiful property you can sense you are in for a restful, relaxing vacation. This home is crisp and clean with a beach house feel, but is so tastefully decorated it felt like home away from home. Diana has thought of everything - from a well stocked kitchen, to a supply of personal essentials should you need them. The beach is a short walk to the end of the street with an easy ramp walk over the dunes to the sand. This house will be my first choice when I return to Sunset Beach. Loved every moment! Awesome spot

Pirates Cove was amazing! It’s in the perfect location!! Within walking distance to the beach! The checkin was very easy. Diana was wonderful to communicate with! The house was beautiful and just as pictured!! It literally had anything you would ever need and more! Shopping and restaurants were just a short drive. We loved the rooftop deck and beautiful sunsets! My favorite was the screened in porch! Thank you Diana, for loaning us your beautiful home for some much needed rest and relaxation!

Absolute beautiful place to stay with friends and enjoy golf in the area. Ideal setting and spacious made for an absolute perfect week. Diana offered tremendous service and communication and I highly recommend this property for any golf vacations during the offseason. Imagine its gorgeous for a family on the on-season as well! We have rented other properties at Sunset Beach and this is absolutely the best place we have ever stayed at! The description of the property was spot on and the hosts were beyond responsive, organized and welcoming! The house is much closer to the beach access than it looks like in the pictures and the beach access is perfect as it is only a ramp and has no stairs to get onto the beach. Clean, organized and family friendly... there is plenty of space and amenities provided by the hosts that makes it an enjoyment and so easy to stay and relax. Thanks so much for your hospitality and we look forward to returning again soon!

We are a family of five (19 yrs+) who needed a place to stay for a few days over the holidays. The house was perfect for us (immaculate, organized, and beautifully decorated) and also provided so many more amenities & supplies than we expected! Especially loved the blankets and cozy couches! The whole space enabled us to host our extended family for dinner the first night where the kitchen + living area was perfect for us to gather & exchange gifts. The house location was also great, close to the beach and the pier.

We rented this property to celebrate our 28th Anniversary. The property was just as described and shown in the pictures. Very clean and comfortable. The home had everything you needed to have a perfect stay. The owner Diana was a joy to work with and made sure we had everything including recommendations for restaurants in the area. I highly recommend this property if you want a relaxing stay at a beautiful beach location. Thanks to the owners for having us. We hope to visit again next year.

This listing is exactly what you see! Clean house with linens provided! Beach access at the end of the street. Was great not having to pack our high chair and pack n play. Baby gates also available for use. Diana was a dream to work with and always responded to any messages I sent quickly. We look forward to staying here again :)
