We enjoyed our stay and will be back! The house was super clean and well stocked with everything we needed. We loved the layout and felt like we all had our own privacy. The porch was so relaxing to sit on during the day and night! The location was ideal for walking to the beach and the house has plenty of beach toys, chairs, etc if you need them. We can't complain about a thing and would highly recommend!

Attractive beach theme decor, lots of games, books, bikes, TV's with great channel selection. Our children, ages 5 to 11, easily walked to the beach, making use of toys available at the house. Some adults walked to Kindred Spirit from the house. All of us walked to ice cream store, shops, and pier. Yeah Buoy is surrounded by similar multi level houses in well kept area. You will need time at end of visit to put out trash, strip beds, wash and put away dishes, empty refrigerator, clean and return toys to storage area. Large open seating area on main level, 3rd level has king bedroom, twin beds, queen bed, and one full bath. Master bedroom on main level has king bed, dresser, chairs, and access to screened porch. Entry level has large den/bedroom with TV and games, and half bath. Hairdryers, tissues, soap, plush towels are provided. Laundry detergent, dishwasher tabs are provided. Everything we needed for a nice family beach vacation!

The house was extremely clean, nice linens, well stocked kitchen. It was a short walk to the most wonderful beach, especially for children. We loved the neighborhood. Pam was a wonderful host, and easy to contact when needed. I would certainly try to stay here again.

Lovely house, well equipped for dogs too. Honestly our favorite part was that outside shower - amazing! Beds were comfy, lots of comfortable sitting places. Lots of beach chairs for us to use which was appreciated :) Working with owners was easy and they were very accomodating!

Yeah Buoy was a great place for our 3 generations. The owner Pam was very responsive to all of our questions. The house had everything we needed for a great week at Sunset Beach.

9 of us stayed comfortably in this awesome house. We enjoyed our time together and made wonderful memories that will last a lifetime. I highly recommend this house and will not hesitate to stay here in the future.

What a wonderful place for our family vacation! The house set up was perfect. The screened in porch was a favorite spot for relaxing and hanging out. Our teenage and 4 year old granddaughter, and adult daughters had a wonderful time with the outdoor games. The outdoor shower was perfect after a day at the beach to leave the sand outdoors. Our host was readily available for any questions and made checking in and out a breeze. The grands love Italian ice and the close proximity to the Sunset shop made for getting a treat every day (sometimes twice daily). A great time was had by all!

Yeah Buoy is a beautiful home---- well equipped and pristine! The porch was, for us, the highlight---- comfortable and perfect for lounging with a good book and your favorite beverage!

I don't normally post reviews but I had to with this one. This was the most well thought out, and most attention paid to detail in a rental home we have ever seen. The house was very clean, well laid out for my husband and I, our 5 kids, and my mother and sister in-law. We all had tons of space to spread out and big open spaces to spend time together. The front porch was amazing and we could've sat on the swing all day. Upon arrival we were surprised at all the little details the Johnson family put into their house. I could go on and on. The place was just amazing and we didn't have to drag our own beach toys down because everything was already there. The walk to the beach took less than 5 minutes even with 5 kids under 10 in tow. If you are looking for a rental to suit your whole family this is it!

We sat out Hurricane Ian. Pam kept in frequent communication before, during and after the storm to make sure we were safe and well. Although it ended up being just a bad storm, she stayed in touch and kept us up to date on island conditions. The house itself was beautiful and beyond our expectations. Pam went above and beyond starting with our first interaction. I highly recommend this property.

We are a group of ladies that read a book about a mailbox and Sunset Island so we planned a trip to visit it. This house was everything we could have asked for, plenty of room for us to have privacy and plenty of room for us to get together. Short walk to the beach and an outdoor shower to get rid of sand before we went into the house when we returned. The screened in porch was our favorite gathering place. I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay. Pam was an excellent host. She made sure we knew what to do through the tornado warning, checked to be sure we were ok, and then gave us the all clear. We were all sad when it was time to leave the beautiful Hey Bouy.

This house was comfortable and spacious. We had six adults and two children and we were all very comfortable in our own spaces. The decks were lovely; upper deck had a beautiful view of the colors of sunset. Dog friendly made it easy for the whole family to enjoy.

Perfect spot for a multi-generation family!
We've been coming to Sunset Beach for decades and our family is now 3 generations so finding a spot that can accomodate everyone is tough. Yeah Buoy was absolutely perfect, providing comfortable quarters for everyone and the privacy needed so that both grandpas and babies can nap without interruption. The location is central to the West end of the island and a short walk to the beach. We will be back!

Yeah buoy you are going to love this house for your beach vacation! I could go on and on but in a nutshell, very comfortable beds, very nicely decorated, kitchen has more appliances than any rental I have ever stayed in, house is very spacious with a great floor plan and plenty of windows to let the light in. We spent a lot of time on the screened in deck that connects to the family room and the bedroom we stayed in because the couch, chairs and swing in it were so comfortable too! We absolutely loved this house!

Spacious beach retreat
Although we cannot control the weather, we can select a beach house that is a perfect retreat on rainy days! This house has plenty of room for everyone to spread out (including a lovely screened-in front porch) and lots of games/activities to keep everyone occupied. Plus, when the rain stops, the beach is a just a quick walk away! My family enjoyed our long weekend stay at this house. Pam (the owner) was very helpful in answering my questions before our trip, and we had everything we needed during our stay. We hope to return here again on our next trip to Sunset Beach!

Everything was wonderful!
We really enjoyed our stay here. The house is beautiful. Very clean. Comfortable. Kitchen stocked. Linens were supplied with is so helpful when traveling with a large family. The owner is very friendly… I have no complaints.

Large house with great proximity to everything including 30 minutes from Myrtle! Short walk to the beach. House is meticulously clean even though it is a pet friendly home, which was very much appreciated since we had small kids with us. Cleanest home I've ever stayed in pet friendly or not. Wow! Friendly owner (Pam) personally manages this home and was a text away if we needed anything. We needed nothing as the house and appliances are in great condition. House was in great condition, cool A/C, all of the necessities, washer/dryer, (very clean) dishwasher -which was much appreciated since we had baby bottles to clean. No complaints and only praise for this house and it's owners. A+ will book again
