The rental property was just as awesome in person as it looks in the pictures. Great space for couples. The kitchen was well equipped . We made several meals during our stay. We spent a lot of time relaxing on the main deck Did not see whales but saw bald eagles and deer.

The house is great, with wonderful views across the water and everything you would need. We had a great trip with a couple of friends! The home was as described, clean, and well taken care of. Just a 10 minute drive to Friday Harbor for anything you need in town.

We spent most of our time enjoying the deck to this beautiful property. Loved the wildlife show (bald eagles, kingfishers, jellyfish and tiny fishes were regulars) and seeing the gorgeous sunsets. We stayed in the master bedroom upstairs which was spacious and comfortable. The downstairs bedroom was a little less fancy, but our friends said the bathroom was lovely. Given how much cooking we ended up doing, I do wish that the knives were a little sharper, if only for safety reasons, and that there was a rubber spatula. If I were staying there again, I would probably bring some of those items from home. However, overall a great location and a beautiful home. I feel I should add that there was information about an emergency water shortage left on the property’s front door and garage. Given that we and our guests were from drought plagued areas, we understood the seriousness of the request. Just a reminder that even on vacation, you can’t escape the realities of the environment.

Our stay on San Juan Island was absolutely magical, thanks to this incredible VRBO home right on the water. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with stunning views of the ocean and the peaceful sounds of nature. The house itself was spacious, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay with friends.
One of the highlights was waking up to the sunrise over the water each morning, which we could enjoy right from the comfort of the cozy living room or the expansive deck. The kitchen was well-equipped for us to cook our meals, and we loved having dinners outside with the ocean breeze.
The location couldn't have been better. It was secluded enough to feel like a true retreat, yet still conveniently close to local attractions and activities.
The property owners were fantastic hosts, providing us with all the information we needed ahead of time and ensuring that everything was in perfect order upon our arrival. Their attention to detail and hospitality truly made our stay special.
Overall, our time at this VRBO home exceeded all expectations. It was the perfect blend of relaxation and adventure, and we created memories that will last a lifetime. Absolutely lovely property! Better than the pictures! All amenities were as described. Wonderful getaway - the wood interiors give a treehouse feel overlooking the water. Spectacular!

House and property were beautiful! We enjoyed the hot tub and the close proximity to town, less than 10 minutes. The house was very well equipped with dishes, cooking utensils and linens. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

This is a beautiful property, with decks overlooking the Salish Sea on all 3 levels. Very quiet, with only harbor seals and river otters to be seen. The stairway down from the parking location to the house entrance was well worthwhile for such a wonderfully situated house!

This property is in a great location that makes it easy to get to all parts of the island as well as catching the ferry for day trips to Orca Island. The property itself has great views and is well appointed. Highly recommend this property to stay at.

We just simply loved the home, and more importantly, the view and being on the Ocean. We live on Camano Island and i was born and raised there. However, I have continually loved coming to Friday Harbor for the better part of my life and love it here. We are looking forward to coming back soon!

We had the most relaxing and enjoyable experience at the Evergreen Waterfront Retreat - and we can't wait to come back! The view from every window is perfect for watching the waves (and maybe catching a whale sighting or two!), but the condition of the house and amenities really impressed us and made it that much harder to leave. The property was easy to access, very clean, and contained just about anything we could think to need for a week stay.

This was my husband and my first visit to the island, this place was perfect! The location felt secluded but getting into town was quick. We spent our mornings hiking and our afternoons in the hot tub soaking our sore legs! As we were preparing to depart, we stepped into the balcony one last time in hopes of seeing wildlife. Up popped two sea lions to wish us farewell (we think!). When we return, because we will certainly be back, we plan to stay here again. Also, the property manager’s instructions for getting there were great, and be sure to follow them as we did not have a cell signal on our drive in.

Spent 5 days/4 nights in this wonderful home! Very cozy, beautifully furnished. Beds were very comfortable. Kitchen was furnished with everything you could possibly need. Large walk in showers, huge hot tub with stunning water views from every level of the home.

This house is even more stunning than the photos. It was perfect for a family of five adults. The views from the balconies are breathtaking, we saw porpoises and seals. It is a quick drive to Friday Harbor and the house was well stocked and had the most homey feel. Could not have asked for anything better!

The pictures don't do this home justice. The hot tub is incredible, and the view is breath taking. We loved watching the sunset from the patio (which was amazing), and taking in the beauty. We had some questions about the ferry schedule, and the communication was prompt, professional, and friendly. The check-in/check-out process was a breeze. I would 100% recommend staying here, and I will definitely be coming back :)

The house was perfect for our getaway with our adult kids. The hot tub was especially popular and the waterfront view was beautiful! In a quiet, peaceful area. We enjoyed viewing the resident bald eagle and even saw a piebald doe. We would definitely stay again!

This was our second time staying at Evergreen retreat. My girls and I love the property!! The house is so beautiful and cozy. Plus it's nice we each get our own floors and separate bathrooms. We love the hot tub, the views from the back decks, and all the wildlife! This is a slice of heaven on earth. We'll be back!

Loved this beautiful home. Views were phenomenal and the home had everything we needed. Our only complaint was that we were prohibited from using the fireplace (a must in the San Juan’s) and there was no propane gas fireplace outside. I would definitely add a gas fire pit outside and a better grill. There was also no dining table inside which was weird. Other than that the place was an A

We had 3 days of complete relaxation and peacefulness. Amazing view.

We spent 4 nights here and loved it. The islands had over a foot of snow on the ground when we arrived, but the property managers did an excellent job of shoveling out the driveway and putting salt down. The road down to the house is pretty steep and windy but it had been plowed and with the shoveled driveway we had no problems making it in or out. They even came back after a round of freezing rain and shoveled the ice off the driveway again. Truly heroic work that my wife and I are very thankful for.
The house itself was great! Amazing view, modern and luxurious fittings, but still had the feel of a remote cabin thanks to the knotty pine walls. The hot tub was great too!
Lots of wildlife to see, we spotted a river otter, stellar sea lions, seals, kingfishers, and eagles. Easy access to Friday Harbor or Roche. Close to the ferry, protected from prevailing winds. Just overall an excellent property and experience.
We will definitely be back!

Loved the views! Had some river otter visitors one morning. One thing to watch out for— the further side of the driveway is not a great option without 4WD. We ended up only using the first side as both an entrance and exit.
