It was a pleasure staying in Kelly's lovely vacation home. Thank you for the well-equipped kitchen and super nice gas fireplace that we enjoyed even on the first nights of summer. The proximity to Calaveras Big Trees is a huge bonus--such a treasure!

Our little family of three loved this house! The yard and house was perfect for our 2.5 year old son - safe, accessible, and entertaining. It was the perfect place to show him the snow for the first time. We can’t wait to come back in the summer! Kelly was a fantastic host too. We had to navigate scheduling complications and she was compassionate and flexible. We felt welcomed from the first interaction.

This house is beautiful. Enough space for the 10 of us. We didn’t need to leave because there was tons of space to play. Amazing.

The property was very nice and at this time of year had snow. It had plenty of room for our family and friends, and was very cozy. We had a wonderful time playing in snow and enjoying the gorgeous view. Looking forward for going back and make more memories in the future.

We had an extended family weekend in this lovely spot. Like others noted the house is showing its age in places but this didn’t take away from the stay. Lots of comfy places to sit and chat. Great outdoor spaces for meals and so close to the beach! We would happily return.

The home was very clean and furnished with taste! We liked the size of the home and the master sweet (don't change). The Ping Pong table was a hit. We didn't use the foosball table. We suggest adding a pool table! We'll definitely be back. The cul de sac was very quiet! Kelly was extremely responsive to any inquiry!

Roberts Retreat was perfect for our annual family winter getaway. Great memories were made this trip. I highly recommend staying at this beautiful home. It was very clean , spacious and comfortable for my family of 8 (6 adults and 2 teens) The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook our family meals. Kelly was quick to respond to any questions and the welcome card and gift was such a nice touch. We have rented a few properties in the past, this home by far, is one of our favorites. We cannot wait to stay again! Thank you Roberts family for opening up your beautiful home.

The house was beautiful and comfortable. It came with games for the kids. Everyone had a memorable time. Only thing was we didn't receive enough trash bags so we had difficulty ridding our garbage. Stores aren't very close by.

I could not have been more impressed with this home and how well appointed it was. We were a group of 10 of all age groups and we had a wonderful time. Having the 2 living rooms really was a plus for all. The owners went to great lengths to have every detail covered and were extremely generous is what they provided making it feel truly welcoming! We would be so fortunate to be able to come to this rental again and I cannot sing enough praises of the entire process. Thank you so much Matt & Kelly for a wonderful stay!

Our family of 5 came with another family of 4. It was perfect! Comfortable and spacious and had everything we needed. Friends staying at a nearby cabin stopped by to visit and kept saying how nice this place was compared to where they were staying. We would rent this again for sure!

This cabin was beautiful! The pictures do not do it justice- it’s incredible! It was very clean, the beds were comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed and the check in/out was super easy. AND there was plenty of fun stuff for my 4 children to play with! We can’t wait to visit again!

Our group of women in our sixties absolutely loved this home. It has a very well equipped kitchen, there really wasn't anything we needed that wasn't there. The knives were even sharp! This might seem like a weird comment but most places I have rented have horrible knives. The linens were of better than average quality. The wifi was good and all the tv's are smart tv's that had excellent connection. The house is very clean, no stains on the furniture or flooring. There is a full bathroom for each bedroom which was very much appreciated. The location is great, 10 minutes to the grocery store. We shopped in Angels Camp, thinking the Arnold store might not be a full on grocery store, but it is so we would have been just fine waiting till we got to Arnold. My communications with Kelly were excellent. She responded immediatly each time I needed something. I highly recommend this rental and hope that our group of women will all agree to go back next year. Thank you Kelly!!

We loved our stay at the Roberts cabin. It was clean, spacious and perfect for our family. My son loved the garage with all the games, they have a high chair for babies, smart tv, and lots of Board games. Beds are clean and cozy. Kitchen is well stocked with everything you need. Great communication with the host. We will definitely rent this cabin again.

This house is gorgeous and well appointed. The house was so spacious it allowed everyone their own space as well as accommodated us when we gathered as a family. Our host, Kelly, was extremely responsive to any questions we had. She went out of her way to make sure we were all comfortable and that we had what we needed. One of the best family trips we’ve had.

I didn’t think it was possible for a cabin to feel both luxurious AND kid-friendly, but Roberts Retreat does it! The beds were incredibly comfortable, plush lines, and very well stocked. Yet my kids also had a blast with the bikes, ping pong, game cabinet, and the multiple smart TVs. We will be back, and next time we want to stay longer!

We rented this house with some friends of ours, 4 adults and 4 kids, and the house was such a great layout for families. The whole house was well stocked with games and things for the kids to do, especially the garage! The amenities of the community were awesome, two small lakes with designated swimming areas, plus the pool and games around the pool! Lots to do in the area, and great recommendations for things to do in the welcome binder at the house! Would definitely stay here again!

The Roberts Retreat was perfect for our family summer trip. Plenty of beds and bathrooms and places to hang out. The house was clean and fully stocked. This was a beautiful home and perfect for three families to stay together, cook together, and play games and enjoy time together. Truly the best stocked VRBO home we have ever stayed in, with attention to details down to a full spice rack, and soft Charmin TP. We look forward to returning again. Thank you!

Arnold/Murphys has been a favorite destination for our family for many years. We absolutely loved this cabin! The cabin is very comfortable, inviting, and private. It is impeccably clean, spacious and there are so many great amenities. The owners have the cabin nicely decorated making it feel very homey. The kitchen is well equipped and we also really appreciated the pull-out shelf in the kitchen that was left open for us so we wouldn’t have to store everything on the countertop. There are plenty of supplied towels/linens/bedding and the cabin has a washer/dryer on premises conveniently located on the first floor if needed. The family room was spacious with plenty of seating and the furniture is thoughtfully laid out. There are multiple large screen TVs and high-speed internet. Having A/C was nice since this was summer-time trip. We had plenty of hot water and the bath faucets worked well to control the temperature setting. The two separated deck areas were nicely furnished with lots of seating and a BBQ grill. We enjoyed sitting outside on the deck to enjoy the views of the trees (we also saw a bear, deer, fox, rabbit, squirrels, and birds). The driveway is flat and it is easy to park. The host, Kelly, was very responsive and helpful. Thank you once again … we highly recommend this cabin and would love to come back! ☺️

Everything about this property was perfect! Kelly is great to communicate with and the house is SO well stocked with everything you need. We stayed Easter weekend and she even left some easter eggs around the house for us. The kids loved the garage game room - we were so thankful for it when it rained one day that we were there.
