Although the location was good and the view was beautiful there were some downsides to our stay. When we arrived and got inside of the house it was so hot you could barly breath. There is not central air but there were 3 portable air conditioners we turned on. We had stay outside until the house cooled. Even with all three air conditioners (and keeping all doors shut) the living room still never really cooled down much and the bathroom was unbarably hot the entire trip. The kitched water had a horrible smell we thought maybe it was the whole area but the bathroom sink didnt have that bad of a smell. The owners were not very responsive to the questions and concerns we had. Over all we had a good time dispite the inconveniences.

Location amazing! Beach front with views and sand of our own. Home is rough though, with limited space, bathroom and AC amenities. However, landlord will do their best to accommodate needs and provide adequate assistance!

We had a great time! Loved the deck, beach was just steps away! Thank you for having a kerig coffee maker! We would ask is hose/ shower on deck and more towels, 4 is just not enough.... but most appreciated was the Charmin toilet paper, lol, I hate the cheap stuff! Thank you again for sharing your home for us to make special memories! The internet sadly, we could not get to work but we were not there for that so it was OK. Hubs says the shower curtain needs something.... more weight to hold it in or magnet snaps... water went everywhere lol. Those are all small things, we had a WONDERFUL TIME!

We loved absolutely everything about this house, except that the hot tub didn't work correctly. We would definitely stay here again!!

Great location and great host. Very responsive to any concerns. Close to everything you need for a quiet relaxing weekend. Wake up to the sound of the waves.

The first night there was an electrical fire from the ceiling. Sparks flew/burned many holes on the bed where we were sleeping with our baby. The home also lost half the power. We called the homeowner who did quickly answer the phone. Someone with us explained as long as the breaker was off, we should be safe to stay until an electrician came in the morning. We decided to tough it out instead of waking the children and moving in the middle of the night. The electrician arrived in the morning and said he'd been there for previous electrical issues. He turned everything back on and sparks came out of the ceiling again. The electrician was able to disconnect what was causing the problem, put tape over the switch and said it would be safe until a full repair could be made. We called the homeowner and explained we would be staying. The next day, we noticed exposed wiring in the bathroom. The final day we noticed exposed wires hanging from the electric meter outside. This seems like the place may need some work to be safe around young children especially. We really should have left. We text the homeowner when we left. She said she would keep us posted on working something out for the problems. After we got home, the homeowner messaged she returned half a night. I called and explained considering the fire, half the house being without electricity, and sleeping on the floor we should at least receive a full night. The homeowner immediately started talking over me, accused me of trying to bully her, accused me of trying to scam her, said she had other businesses to run, didn't have time for this and was not required to do anything at all. I explained we weren't asking for much, just the night when the electrical fire and half the house was without power. When I explained this could have been worse if someone was burned she very sarcastically said, "But did that happen?" She tried to sum up the electrical fire to a minor 45 minute inconvenience. She also mentioned she was watching us have a good time on the deck camera so the problems must not have been too bad. CREEPY! If she has to spend more than a few minutes with you, she'll quickly remind you she is a very busy “business lady”, has other bookings and more important things to do. Find a place with a competent homeowner that won't undermine major issues and belittle you if you call them. We wanted to love this place once everything was fixed but the homeowner scared us away!!
