We had an amazing time at Brownie. The house was clean and well stocked. Location was unbeatable for skiing at Sunday River (2 min to White Cap, 3 min to South Ridge). Kirk was incredibly responsive and helpful during our stay. Check in and check out process was seamless. I would highly recommend this property to anyone coming to Newry for a few days away from it all.

Repeat guests after a 5 year hiatus. Super convenient location to mountain and local restaurants. Hot tub was great. So was fireplace with plenty of wood and starter materials. Cozy family room to relax after a day on the slopes.

We loved staying here- just three minutes to the mountain.

Our family comes back to stay here every year and we have the BEST TIME. the home is so welcoming, clean, and the fire place and hot tub just make it perfect. We never want to leave after our stay. Just minutes away from Sunday river access road and steps from a cool walking path for our dogs.

The description for this property is accurate. The house had everything we needed. The bedroom with the bunkbeds was great for the kids who were all cousins 14, 13, 11 and six years old. My wife and I had one queen bedroom and her sister and her husband had the other. This house is five minutes from the mountain and extremely comfortable. Will definitely be renting here again!

We enjoyed the peaceful scenery with a backdrop of forests and mountains. It made sitting around the campfire fun and enjoyable. The house was easy to find, clean, and came as listed.

We all loved this home. Extremely convenient to Sunday River. My adult children went skiing and snowboarding everyday and it only took 5 min. or less to get to the ski lodge. The view of the mountains is gorgeous from the huge windows in this home. It was also very nice to have the inside porch area to hang snowsuits and the boot dryer to dry out the boots. There is a washer and dryer in this room also. The kitchen is beautiful and has a coffee maker, dish machine and all the dishes we needed to cook our meals. Stocked with paper towels, dish machine soap, hand soap, liquid dish soap, salt and pepper shaker and numerous spices. The wrap around couch and real fireplace was a wonderful place to relax at night. Firewood was supplied as was kindling. Beds were very comfortable ( and I am a picky bed person!) There were extra pillows and blankets and boardgames. Plenty of parking in the well plowed driveway. The owner was excellent to deal with! He even went above and beyond by mailing a bag I had left behind to me. Thank you so much Kirk! I highly recommend this home and I will definitely stay here again with my family. We all had a fantastic time.

Incredible stay, will definitely be back! My family and I stay in many places and this one was our favorite by far! It was clean, cozy and extremely comfortable. The hot tub was exactly what we needed after a long day of snowboarding. The fireplace made the home so comfortable. All of the little details And welcome yes made the experience unforgettable. We had a great time at this house! It was a perfect location to Sunday River for skiing! We also enjoyed Snowshoeing in the woods and fires at night.

The house was great with an excellent location in a beautiful area. A few minor things I'd have changed but it would be a place I'd recommend.

Our stay was just what we hoped for, a quiet and relaxing area, with the hot tub for bonus relaxation!! This was our second stay at this property, the only complaint was that the kitchen was not as well stocked as last time, and the house was not as clean as the last time. The overall stay was great!

Everything we was looking for Me my Wife and kids and Grandbaby all enjoyed the whole experience in July 2021, house was clean spacious and peaceful environment.

Home was nice clean spacious exactly as shown in photos and described in the description. The location is great was just a short drive to a couple of stores not too long of a drive to some wonderful sites. We really enjoyed driving up Sunday River towards the Jordan hotel which had some really great views. we also enjoyed going to the Grafton notch area we checked out screw auger falls and the moose caves along the way there was a wonderful little bakery that has a stand on the side of the road called puzzle mountain bakery absolutely recommend grabbing yourself some strawberry rhubarb jam from them. We found a swimming hole less than 20 minutes away in bethel this was a great spot to take the kids. The Home came equipped with a couple of binders One had different important information with local emergency contacts listed and operations of the home. the other binder included suggestions of places to eat and things to see places to shop. We did find one or two of the menus was a little bit outdated but that really was not a problem for us. On our second day we had an issue with the dryer and also woke up to one of the smoke alarms doing the beep beep beep telling us the battery was dying, property maintenance was over immediately to check it out and see what was wrong with the dryer and to quick change the battery for us, unfortunately the dryer was nothing they could fix, so he offered to take our stuff over to the house next door to dry them for us but it was nice and sunny so I decided to just hang our stuff outside on the railing of the deck. I was very impressed with the promptness of property management and I was so glad to have a friendly face come help us out without any hesitation. Absolutely recommend staying in this home or any other property they run because I assume that their other properties are maintained just as well as this one.

Property is super amazingly beautiful except fir the carpets . Wooden floor is better.

5 female adults. Plenty of space. Beautiful round dining table for meals and conversation. Hot Tub was a great way to end the day.

We were extremely pleased with our long weekend of skiing Dec 19-22nd. Enjoyed convenient/close access to Sunday River (surprisingly low crowds) and all of the amenities the house offered including the hot tub, fireplace, boot/glove dryer and kitchen with everything we needed to cook. Would love to stay again in the future!

We enjoyed our week at this beautiful home. It was the perfect location to explore the Sunday River area and we were truly impressed with this home.

My bridesmaids and I came up for a short weekend away to celebrate my upcoming wedding! The home was nothing short of fantastic! The perfect place to really get away and relax, but also all of the comforts of home! We settled right in, had a place to put all of our food for the weekend, everyone had their own sleeping areas, and the overall plenty of room to just spread out and chill! We really enjoyed the hot tub, between us we have 2 new mamas and ladies working 60+ hour work weeks, so needless to say it was a HUGE part of our weekend! The area is beautiful, the views are gorgeous, and plenty of places around to adventure and explore! Communication with the owners was absolutely on point, so nice and accommodating! I would highly recommend this place to anyone who asked about it, and we would definitely return again in the future!

The home was exactly as described, we had a relaxing getaway, which is just what we were looking for. The one suggestion we have, would be an air conditioner. We understand that this home is more geared for winter rentals, but an air conditioner would have been nice! A portable air conditioner would be ideal for this home. We happened to be there during the hottest weekend of the summer.
