It was a little hard to find because they mentioned mail boxes at entrance , and there were no mail boxes , i found out after calling owner , i think they just have to not mention mail boxes, and use an address at the entrance instead! Other than that , N P !

We relaxed and enjoyed our stay. The keys are beautiful. Old style cracker house. We love the water and atmosphere. Would stay again.

Excellent all the way around

It was just as expected. It was clean, and easy to find. We were provided with all of our basic needs. There is a pool on site, that we did not use we spent most of our time in Key West. But it was nice quiet we love the screen in porch. The beds could of been a little softer But we are still grateful for a wonderful stay.

So much of the Keys has become modernized… This place has been wonderfully locked in time. Secluded side street, lovely views of the bay, shallow drafting boats welcome. Freezing cold pool helps the hot days. Associated resorts help the socialization. Come for a day, stay for a month!

If you are looking for old style quaintness this is the place. The sunrise and sunsets are stunning. Quiet location but just a short drive to Key West.

The location for this compound is very nice, access to ocean. My friends had stayed here at another cottage in the past and were happy with the facilities. Cottage 12 is in tough shape, we took pictures as soon as we got in so we have date and time stamp the issues on arrival. I sent them to the property owner. The ceiling fan/light in living room was hanging from its wires, we were hesitant to turn it on for fear of it falling down. the front door handle was loose and swinging. Unsure when the owner was last at this cottage to see this. My husband drove to the hardware store and bought a screw to secure it. The kitchen had very little supplies, we expected at least salt and pepper shakers, we ended up spending much more than we anticipated at grocery store for items such as this. There wasn't a mixing bowl. Again, maybe I'm too picky but I've stayed at many VRBOs that had at least the basic essentials. There was no mat or rugs so we constantly had to clean up the floors. The shower head had very little water pressure. We again notified the owner, she never addressed this issue. I have no problem with low flow and respect the need to conserve water but this showerhead was all plugged up. The washer didn't drain and spin, we promptly notified the owner who told me she had just had it worked on, it should work. Another cottage guest also contacted her, owner told us of other coin operated washers we could use. Disappointing stay

I know it is suppose to be an old cottage but even so, it was not very clean. The fan in The kitchen did not work and the beds were super uncomfortable. They are worn out and sag in the middle. Not a restful sleep was had because every time my husband or I rolled over one rolled back to the middle as well. The water pressure is very weak and difficult to shower. The AC can Not be turned above 75’F. During the summer my husband would have been miserable. It is nice to be at the ocean and there are lots of mangroves there and the sunsets are beautiful. Unfortunately the bottom is very soft and as soon as you touch it it stirs up muck and you sink into it. The location is great, there is a local restaurant right around the corner that is great!

Great experience ! Half hour drive to Key West

This cottage was just as it said in the listing. It had two pools, a beautiful fishing/sitting dock and it was in a perfect area for us. We flew in from Fort Lauderdale and drove to cottage. Then spent two evenings in Key West which was only a 30 min drive from the cottage. Secluded. Nothing fancy but just the way we like things. Everything you need.

We had fun

Good overall. No hair dryer and needs more towels. Great location. Could use a few repairs… screen door, a new shower head (it was hard to rinse the shampoo out of hair, it barely let water through but kitchen had great water pressure).

We booked the home for 4 days and didn’t even stay for 24 hours, the “home” was dirty, we sat on towels because the furniture was filthy, beds not comfortable, electrical issues with switches not working - fans with no strings to turn on light or adjust fan speed so bedroom had no lighting. All pool chairs broken and dangerous. Pool was filthy. Informed property contact that needed good reception for working and was told it was good. Couldn’t get any bars on phones and Wi-fi issues. Shower was sputtering. When I contacted them the only response was well I can send an electrician to look at switch and light- but they couldn’t have done before arrival

We had a great stay. Cudjoe Key was a great home base for exploring the lower keys!

We enjoyed our stay at the cottage. There were several of the electrical outlets that weren't working properly.

Property was nice. It was centrally located to things we wanted to do. We didn’t spend much time there just sleep and a bite to eat in the mornings. I did expect a couple of washcloths and the only one was a dirty one on the shower rod. The frying pans could use some love. It’s quite old and could use a few repairs but overall comfortable, fairly clean and the instructions were clear. Thank you for having us
