Absolutely beautiful, clean and welcoming. Super close to the ocean! The view was amazing!!!!

Our one-room school (7 students) took a field trip to Crescent City. Staying in this house helped make this trip more affordable as well as enjoyable. It was fun getting to have our whole group together for meals and games during the quieter evening times of the trip. Everything in the house was as advertised and the host was very responsive. :)

The house is big, clean, and well stocked with everything we needed. It is also a short drive from the grocery store, restaurants, and the amazing Jedediah Smith redwood park. But the ocean view. Oh, that ocean view. I spent every evening in the rocking chair next to the large second floor window, with a cup of coffee and a book, watching the sun set into to the ocean. Everything else about the house was just bonus points, on top of that amazing ocean view.

The stay was ok, the property owner didn’t tell us there was a renter in the back half of the property. This created parking issues for my guests. I had a conversation with the renter, who seemed slightly annoyed we were in his space. Full disclosure should be mentioned for the next guest who stays at this property. Also, the landscape in the front of the house was overgrown, slightly inconvenient walking up the entry sidewalk.

Our family of 8, including my elderly father with a walker, came on a trip to see the ocean and visit the Redwoods. This house was perfectly located for the Redwoods. A nice beach was 2 miles down the road, but keep in mind that northern CA does not have warm water. :) The street the house was on was very nice. You could look out the windows and see the ocean. The house was so spacious and fit our needs perfectly. The vaulted room upstairs was a great hang out for the "younger" ones ages 14-28, while the lower level was perfect for the others. And.... there is a large laundry/storage area off the kitchen. Wonderful! We were very happy with our stay. Thanks for sharing it so we could be together. :)

Plenty of beds for our large family, high chair and pack and play would be handy for small children

Playing in annual golf tournament at Del Norte CC and this was a great place for our 4 guys. House was totally modernized and in excellent shape. It is very close to Pebble Beach Drive and road noise was noticeable especially with open windows. The sit down area downstairs is somewhat small and if you like to go up/down stairs, the upstairs sit down area is much larger. We've done many Crescent City rental houses the last few years and, overall, this was one of the best. Bring a couple of camp chairs for sitting out front to enjoy the great weather.

Beautiful view of ocean from diningroom and upstairs family room. Plain but comfortable furnishings. Location is great for many activites in town and in area. Bring your own shampoo and bath soap.

Spacious, clean, house that comfortably accommodated our family of 9. Easy to access parks, beaches, and restaurants and groceries in town. Large dining room that made it easy for meals and board games, beautiful view from 2nd story windows.

We had a great stay. The house was clean and roomy. I had six students stay here with 2 advisors. It worked great for us. There was a full bathroom for advisors, boys, and girls. We also could comfortably split the boys and girls ups for sleeping. We had plenty of room and a great location. The beach was just a few minutes of a walk away. The students found all kinds of sea life below the house. The house windows look out over the ocean and the students loved watching the boats go by. We even saw a whale from the windows. Being this close to the ocean made our trip amazing!

The kitchen could use some platters and bigger bowls. The silverware was awful, I brought my own due to another review.

When we rented this property it was still a new listing, so it was a gamble without reviews. We were so happy we went with it. The house is right across from the rocky shore, and access to the beach is a very short walk down the street. There were ample beds for our family, the house was clean, and it had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again!

The house was perfect for our family. We ended up with six so didn’t need the room with the four beds. How do we go about reserving for next year?

We had a girls weekend for 10 ladies and to celebrate our friends upcoming wedding. The house was great, it accomodated all of us comfortably. Parking is a little tricky for larger vehicles.

Had a great time at this house. Plenty of parking for everyone. Plenty of room for 4 families. House was clean and accommodating with a great view and close to everything. will plan or returning for another trip.

We absolutely loved our stay in this home in Crescent City. It was a nice, central location for multiple redwoods trips and the beach. We loved visiting the lighthouse and walking along the jetty next to it. The beach just south of town was beautiful. The beds were comfortable and there was so much space to spread out. And the view of the ocean! I loved looking out the windows at any time of day. The washer and dryer were useful. There are some board games provided. It was a great place for kids and adults. My one suggestion would be to improve the kitchen supplies. We ate almost every meal at the house, besides a couple of packed lunches. I brought some disposable 9x13 pans, and good thing I did as there were no baking dishes available. We ended up washing and reusing them. We were only cooking for 7 and had to figure out ways to make it work and cook in batches, so I can’t imagine a group larger than ours. Bigger serving/prep bowls and sturdier silverware would be a nice addition as well. I feel bad even saying anything because we loved the house so much, but if you’re planning for a large group maybe you should plan to bring some of your own kitchen supplies. I still give the house 5 stars because it was really such a great place to stay.

I have never stayed at a rental home with such amazing hosts. I couldn’t even begin to say how truly appreciative we are of their hospitality! There was a mishap and they were easy to contact, stayed in touch and made our stay beyond amazing! The location of this house is amazing as well! Right by the beach! Highly recommend!
