We loved the house, even though the beds are NOT comfortable, and the sheets are scratchy. It is a good 30 minutes to downtown Galveston.

Our recent stay at this property, initially promising due to its attractive exterior, was deeply disappointing. Within an hour of arrival, we encountered a constant influx of ants in the kitchen. Despite immediate notification to the management company, a 24-hour response resulted in no action. The following day, the ant infestation spread to a bedroom, impacting our belongings and bed. A subsequent request for assistance yielded only a store bought 16 ounce ant spray bottle spray solution by a local maintenance worker. The situation escalated further that evening when we discovered an infestation of large cockroaches throughout the living room and furniture, extending to the porches. With five families sharing the compromised space, a lack of alternative accommodation options left us feeling trapped and unable to enjoy our six-day vacation. The complete absence of follow-up communication from the management company after numerous attempts to reach them further highlights their disregard for customer well-being. I would tell any prospective renters to strongly consider alternative options to avoid a similar experience that could significantly impact their vacation. We still felt taken advantage of and completely ripped off considering the living conditions.

We recently stayed at this vacation rental on spring break and unfortunately had a very unpleasant experience. From the moment we arrived, it was evident that the property had not been properly maintained. The undergarments left in the laundry hamper were a major red flag and set the tone for the rest of our stay.
One of the biggest issues we encountered was the lack of air conditioning upstairs. With temperatures reaching 75 degrees and 84% humidity, it was extremely uncomfortable and made sleeping nearly impossible. Additionally, the door upstairs did not latch, allowing bugs to freely enter our living space throughout the night.
To add insult to injury, we were unable to enjoy the main porch for grilling and dining due to bee's nests.
Despite bringing these issues to the attention of the property management, nothing was done to address them during our stay. We felt completely ignored and disregarded.
Overall, our experience at this vacation rental was extremely disappointing. I would highly advise future guests to beware of these shortcomings before booking a stay at this property.

This was a great property for a family reunion! Close to the beach and the beach club pools were awesome. Highly recommend! We rented a golf cart from a local business, and I would encourage others to do that also.

This is an interesting review for me. The house met the needs of the 17 members of my family wonderfully, but we had major issues with cleanliness and property manager coordination. We arrived to find a full bag of trash in the kitchen, and there were no trash bags to replace it with. We had to buy both trash bags and coffee filters. There was mold in several locations in the house, and there was significant dust build up on the HVAC filter locations. A previous party smoked in the house, and the smell was so strong that clean clothes had to be washed when we returned home. We were a party of 17, and there were only nine bath towels total in the house upon arrival. Additional towels were not delivered until midday on the second day of our stay despite me calling immediately about the towels when we arrived. The microwave door had to physically be held shut for the duration of the cooking time for it to work properly. We still had a great time, but these issues definitely impacted negatively on our stay.

Our stay was great would definitely stay again. Found a number of small repairs needs attention. Tub in upstairs Jack and Jill bathroom drained slow. The view was spectacular.

The only few items we were lagging was a wine bottle opener, a broom and dust pan, and a battery to replace the one in the grill's ignition - other than that the house was well stocked with plenty of pots, pans, plates, glasses, silverware, and cooking utensils. Even thought the property is not on the beach side of the highway, it was a very short drive and walk to get to the beach. We'd stay again without much hesitation.

The home was just what we needed for our large family group. The home is tucked back in a newer section of the development and for most of our stay we were completely alone. There were a few beach toys and chairs in the garage, and plenty of beach towels.
We would definitely stay there again but there were a few things that could improve the experience.
There was a nest of bees living in the roof of the lower level back deck. The propane tank for the grill was empty. There need to be a few more kitchen dish cloths and towels and at least a sponge with a textured surface for dishes. The upstairs master bath tub drain empties very very slowly. The dryer is frustratingly slow-it may not be vented properly. A medium sized load of laundry took 3 full runs to dry and even then was still damp. You’d be better off hanging everything outside to dry. The microwave also caused some of our party frustration. It was temperamental. The lockboxes need to be changed out.
A binder with information about the home, the development and contact numbers would be helpful. A dry mop would be nice as the jute rugs shed fibers that clung to our feet.
We definitely hope to return to the area in a few years and we will be checking to see if the Point West Bay Breeze Paradise is available.

However, when we arrived the house was 55° and it took several hours for the place to heat up to even 63°. The heater does need to be looked at. The microwave was dirty and my daughter used a towel in her bathroom that had long black hair inside of it. I would suggest having A talk with your cleaning crew.

beautiful home on quiet cul-de-sac. Kitchen has most of what you need (hopefully they will get a working can opener). We had our family Thanksgiving with 15 of us and had a great time. Two living areas and plenty of porches. Enjoyed watching the birds out kitchen window and back porch. Grandkids enjoyed riding their scooters when it wasn't raining as the street was very quiet. Beach is a short drive away. Enjoy this home as much as we did.

Granted, it was much larger than necessary, but each of us had our own large bed. Five of us had gigantic rooms with a king sized bed and bathroom suite. The others shared a room each with a double bed (lower of a bunk bed). With couples and kids, this would very nicely accommodate 22. Even more with sleeping bags and pads in the giant walk-in closets.
The house was clean and very well stocked with dishes, towels, etc... Also, Vacasa was very responsive with the few requests we had. The house is quite a bit west of the main part of Galveston in a serene and beautiful area.
Also, try The Pointe restaurant. We all had a delicious meal there. Be aware that they close at 9 PM.
Overall, I highly recommend this home.

A really beautiful home on the far western side of Galveston Island. Perfect for a nice relaxing stay in the area, with wonderful views onto the tidal Marah. A car is a near must as most activities and conveniences are a 20 minute drive at least.

This beach house is beautiful. It is in a great location, & was the perfect size for a bigger group. Public beach access within great proximity. Only down sides were the many mosquitos at night time, knives didn’t cut that great and the BBQ pit was extremely small for a house that holds 22 people. But overall our family loved it!

We had 18 people in the house and had We plenty of room. The views are amazing and amenities were perfection. We were able to utilize the Beach Club which made our trip!! We definitely recommend this house and would stay here again!
