The location to the expressway and to downtown was great. We liked that the house was on a quiet cul-de-sac. We were really disappointed with the cleanliness of the house and the amenities in the kitchen. The property could use a few more upgrades. In the rooms that have carpet, the carpet is stained and needs to be cleaned. The bath towels are flimsy. Some nicer quality towels and more than 1 per person would be nice. The kitchen is not well stocked. There are random dishes and pans to cook with. Having dishtowels to dry dishes would be great as well. The knobs on the stove were dirty as were most of the dishes. We had to wash them before we used them. There were crumbs in the silverware drawer. There was something sticky on the table in the sunroom that we cleaned. The garbage disposal broke while we were there. While the owners were quick to respond, it took 2 separate trips to get it fixed. It was an inconvenience to our trip and there was no offer of compensation for that inconvenience. Additionally, there is a policy that you can't wear your shoes in the house. We were fine with that but it would have been nice to know before we arrived. If that is policy, it should be listed in the VRBO description. They did leave slippers to wear but I would have not put them on my feet as they looked dirty. You should provide new, clean slippers for each stay. We would likely not stay at the property again unless there are some upgrades made.

Perfect, quit spot close to Willow Glen and major freeways.

I needed a place for my husband & I and our 3 adult kids to stay for my mom's memorial. I didn't want to have to think about anything else and these folks had a good rating. The house is centrally located, near freeways, but in a good neighborhood. It's right on the edge of Willow Glen, a highly desirable area (go south on Meridian, turn left on Willow, and in a block you'll be at a lovely park with huge trees, flanked by charming homes... nice place for a walk). The immediate neighborhood has a somewhat dense concentration of homes, with nice apartments a block away. But the house is nicely situated on the corner of a cul-de-sac, so as soon as you enter the gate you're faced with a small yard probably larger than the neighbors', with a nice grassy area next to the sunroom. The owners have done a very nice job of creating a small oasis in a busy area. Plants line the edge of the yard. Besides the small lawn, there's a lovely little iron table and chairs on the small patio off the dining area, with plenty of flowers (including roses) adjacent. Nice place for coffee or breakfast in the morning. The owners apologized that they'd just learned AC wasn't working and the part wouldn't arrive for 2 days. We were away during the day and caught a nice breeze through open windows in the evening so it wasn't an issue. The kitchen had everything we needed, and each bedroom had sufficient bath towels. Only thing we couldn't find were dish towels. Would stay here again.

The house was very clean. Check in was great. We decided to stay an extra night and they were very accommodating. The kitchen and bedrooms had everything we needed. We would definitely return.

We really enjoyed staying at this house because it was very spacious, close to my son in Willow glen and a very quiet safe neighborhood. Although we didn’t do any cooking the kitchen appeared to be well equipped and it was nice to know we could do laundry if needed. We will definitely think about staying there next time we visit.

It was convenient and clean. Had everything we needed and the beds were all comfy! We would definitely stay again!
