We just returned home from our lovely three night getaway at this cozy home “Beach Lovers Retreat.” We’ve stayed at this home several times and continue to return due to its easy access to the beach (just a short couple of blocks walking distance), cleanliness of the property, ease of check in and out, and overall comfort of the house. The kitchen is always well stocked for cooking but there are also many close restaurants nearby that we enjoy. Always a pleasure to get a chance to stay at this great vacation rental on the coast!

Wonderful property, super close to beach will definitely stay again

We stayed for two nights, house has lots of beach gear, cozy rooms and small state beach near by. The rooms are smaller than expected so for a group of six it's crampy. The bath rooms are not attached to the bed rooms so two families will have to juggle. The beach is okay at best. The price is not justified after adding VRBO and host fees on top of daily fees, so it's mispriced for it's location when it all adds up so buyer beware

This is a great location a block and a half from the beach. There is a good surf break right there, and it's kind of on a cove, so no crowds. The house had all the supplies you would need and has a really nice backyard with a fire pit that we enjoyed. Great place- we will be back!

We stayed for 5 nights to get out of the Sacramento summer heat. We brought our two retrievers with us. All of us had a wonderful time. The proximity to the beach cannot be beat, nor can the quality. The house was perfect size for us and had every amenity we could have asked for! It even had an outdoor shower to rinse off the sand! We hope to stay here again in the future.

Reboot on the beach
We stayed for 5 nights to get out of the Sacramento summer heat. We brought our two retrievers with us. All of us had a wonderful time. The proximity to the beach cannot be beat, nor can the quality. The house was perfect size for us and had every amenity we could have asked for! It even had an outdoor shower to rinse off the sand! We hope to stay here again in the future.

Linda and Cal are the perfect hosts and great communicators. Their home is thoughtfully stocked and impressively organized to help you, your family, and dogs feel at home. The house and yard are pleasant and comfortable, and the neighborhood and beach proximity are excellent. This is our 2nd stay here and we loved it again! We plan to rent this house every year. The kids love the fire pit for roasting hotdogs and s’mores! And the beach is so close. The beds are comfy and I love all of the decor. Thanks again Linda!

Súper cute and comfortable beach house
This is our 2nd stay here and we loved it again! We plan to rent this house every year. The kids love the fire pit for roasting hotdogs and s’mores! And the beach is so close. The beds are comfy and I love all of the decor. Thanks again Linda!

I truly cannot think of one thing that the owners haven't thought of in preparing this rental, from the completely outfitted kitchen to the comfortable beds to the private fenced rear patio and firepit, this place is perfectly executed. And the location is ideal and close to the beach and hiking trails. Looking forward to our next visit.

I truly cannot think of one thing that the owners haven't thought of in preparing this rental, from the completely outfitted kitchen to the comfortable beds to the private fenced rear patio and firepit, this place is perfectly executed. We had a wonderful time staying here! The house is very clean and well stocked with all of the amenities that you’ll need. Awesome location! We loved spending the day at the beach and relaxing in the backyard afterward. Our boys are already asking when we’ll be going back? 😊

This house is just as advertised and more. Best equipped kitchen we've ever seen. There were kid and dog supplies galore. No worries if you forget something as it's probably already there. Our dog took every toy out of the basket to play with. Great location to walk the dog and easy to get to the beach and quick drive to groceries and restaurants. Would definitely stay again if we're headed to Santa Cruz area.

This house is just as advertised and more. Best equipped kitchen we've ever seen. There were kid and dog supplies galore. No worries if you forget something as it's probably already there. Our dog took every toy out of the basket to play with. Great location to walk the dog and easy to get to the beach and quick drive to groceries and restaurants. Would definitely stay again if we're headed to Santa Cruz area.

The house and location were perfect for our family visit - so many nice little touches made for a wonderful experience for everyone including our dog! Well stocked kitchen as well! These hosts have thought of everything! We’ll be back!
