We enjoyed our stay. It was 5 star in all aspects. The only thing was the driveway is very steep. You will need 4 wheel drive. The owner responded to our issue with ice on the driveway immediately and all was good thereafter. I would highly recommend this property.

We had a very nice time in Angel fire. The location of the property couldn’t have been better as it was a mile or less to slopes and grocery. Guest services were very accommodating. The only downside of this rental was the parking. The drive is steep with a turn in it and while you can park up at the road it’s more of a pull over spot than parking which made it difficult to turn around when going back into town. This was mentioned in the listing and we did have 4x4 which was a must if even attempting to get down the drive.

Where to start…The place is perfect. Just as described. Owner has stuff labeled perfectly for ease. Family of 5 stayed for one week and couldn’t have asked for more. Wi-Fi perfect. Heating perfect. Water temp and pressure perfect.
There isn’t enough stars for the memories we made. Fed mule deer by hand 3 out of 5 mornings. Sled on property daily. Watched huge horses pull sleighs every hour during daylight. Store and gas right around the corner. You can only see a couple houses from the property. Secluded yet not.
All seriousness if you are looking to get out of the city life a bit but still have some other goods and needs this is the spot. Ski resort 3 mins away.
I asked my wife what she would change about the property the question was followed with a long blank pause. That says plenty. It’s even better than the pictures.
Forever thankful the homeowner shared this gem. Couldn’t have had a better time and the memories in this father’s mind are priceless.

We had a wonderful stay at the house! It has everything you need in the kitchen! It’s the perfect mountain house. The deer come for a visit several times a day! Pay attention to owners disclosure about the driveway- it is steep and 4x4 needed. But u can leave your cars at the top of the hill if you can’t get down.. The owners were so responsive and nice. We got 2ft of snow while there and they had the driveway plowed! Thank u for a great stay!!!! One more disclosure- u have to take your trash to the dump down the road- so don’t wait til the last day of a long trip like we did 🤣

Wow, this cabin and location are truly amazing! So close to everything but it feels like you are tucked way in the woods. We brought our family here for a ski trip and it was perfect! The cabin was clean and well stocked with everything you could need and more! The owners definitely go above and beyond! The beds were super comfy and there were lots of extra blankets, pillows, etc. They had fun games and even a Nintendo switch for the kids to play on. It was the perfect place to come home to in the evenings after a long day of skiing. We loved curling up by the fireplace and watching the wildlife through the amazing windows. We used the provided deer corn and were visited by elk, deer, and turkeys! We got lots of snow while we were there but it did make getting out of the steep driveway tricky. Our 4wd truck almost didn’t make it out but the owners had it plowed right away. The provided parking area was sufficient however it is a bit of a steep walk down to the cabin so keep that in mind for older people, etc. Overall the cabin and location were great and we would definitely stay here again! Thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home!

Everything about this property was exceptional! The checkin process was easy, the owner was prompt and friendly, and the property was even better in person! The wildlife will come right up to you and the welcome baskets and fun stuff provided by the owner made you feel at home! Would definitely recommend this property!

This place was so much fun. Very clean and was in a perfect location. The owner was very easy to work with and understanding when we accidentally broke a lamp. We would definitely stay here again.

Very pleased
We were very happy with our stay. There was plenty of room for our family of 6. The home is surrounded by beautiful woods. We enjoyed spotting the deer that walked right by. Our family enjoyed the card & board games that were available. It was a very close, short drive to the slopes but felt like we were tucked away in from town. We did feel like our 4 wheel drive suv would be able to get up & down the driveway with ease, but the snow and steepness proved us wrong. If in doubt, use the handy parking pad off the road at the top of tur driveway. :)

Moutain Magic
We stayed at this home for 4 nights and we were very impressed. The home is well stocked and the owner has thought of everything a person would need while on vacation. It is well organized and we easily found what we were looking for. The home is cozy and wonderful instructions were given for everything. The house had a welcome basket which was full of chocolate goodies and my little girl thought she had hit the jackpot. We would definitely stay again if we head back to Angel Fire. The quality out weighs the price of this beautiful home. Thank you!

Great memories!
This chalet was warm and cozy upon arrival. We arrived late but the lights were on inside and the home was warm. It was just the welcome we needed after a long drive with tried children. Having the loft was a great extra space to have for the kids to stretch out. The description does say ski in/out but it’s about two miles and not walking distance. With that said, the drive was fast and easy. We would absolutely stay here again. We made great memories.

This vacation rental and overall experience was absolutely wonderful! The house was immaculate, well-stocked and in the best location. The owners are kind and have provided wonderful amenities which makes the rental feel like a home away from home!
