Enjoyed our stay!

Property is absolutely beautiful!! We had a great time, enough room for all 13 of us!! Can’t wait to come back!!

Cooking was so easy in the large well stocked kitchen. We had plenty of room for our group to spread out!

We stayed over the Christmas holiday and had The best time! We were even surprised with gifts from the hosts! The home is beautiful and fun was had by all! We will definitely be back!

The weekend was absolutely beautiful from the weather, the amazing outdoor area, a fully stocked kitchen. We celebrated with good friends and enjoyed all the amenities the home offered, pool table, corn hole, hot tub and the outdoor fireplaces. The home was very clean and the beds were so comfortable. Highly recommend!

Beautiful home and location

We loved this place! It was a perfect location for our wedding party to stay at around the wedding day. Loved all the bedrooms and bathrooms, with tons to do and very homey. The only downside was missing toilet paper and when we reached out to the recommended individuals about it, we didn't hear anything back. Not a huge deal because we had family local and there are stores to buy from but lucky that everything else was perfect!

The house was comfortable, cozy, and very clean. Great amenities for all ages to enjoy. The views were spectacular with plentiful outdoor spaces. Easy access to the dock from the house to enjoy sunbathing, paddle boarding, and enjoying the lake. A great time was had by all!

We had a family of 9 all adults and the house was perfect. Everything was very clean the beds were comfortable. The walk to the dock wasn’t far. We rented a boat for a few days. The hot tub was so nice so was the game room. We were so happy with everything we can’t wait to come back!

Kids had a great time. The house was wonderful it met all our needs. We rented a boat which really made the week. Everyone had a wonderful time. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed and more. The rooms and beds were comfortable. The only drawback was the driveway . It made throwing trash and parking a challenge.

We had a wonderful week at the lake for our annual family vacation. The house had plenty of space for everyone to sleep and relax. We loved family coffee on the deck and swimming in the lake off the dock. The owners were very responsive to any concerns. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware but it would be nice to have some kitchen basics (salt, pepper, sugar etc). We had a great week!

The house was lovely, enjoyed by all. We are looking for a house with a pool for next year's vacation.

Everything about this property was fantastic! We loved the porches, fireplace and fire pit. We had room for everyone. The views were beautiful. It was a little chilly but some went paddle boarding and swimming. Parking was ample. We didn't move cars all weekend had 4 by the house and 3 on the pad at top of driveway. Only downside no elevator for the elderly but we made it work. Fantastic get away for our family.

Great place!! We love the idea of being able to look out the windows at the beautiful view. However, at night we would have liked to have had blinds on the windows for privacy.

We had a great time! We really enjoyed the home.

Overall the property was great. Plenty of amenities that would be great with warmer weather. The driveway is not the greatest due to the steepness but a lot of the the houses right on the lake are like that as well. Property was clean.

This house was beautiful, with amazing high end finishes. there is so much to do in the house and plenty of space for multiple family’s. I will definitely be back! Although very minor and expected, the driveway is very steep with minimal room for parking. We had two SUV’s and can’t imagine how we would’ve handled parking more than two cars, as street parking isn’t allowed. Otherwise I can’t recommend this property enough!

Families from three states enjoyed meeting here for a long weekend. We had 6 kids under the age of 7 and they all had a blast. We really enjoyed the amenities -- didn't even leave the house on Friday. Kids caught some fish, enjoyed the hot tub, played games. Adults mostly enjoyed relaxing! Saturday, we enjoyed some of the surrounding attractions -- mini golf, feeding the carp, a local winery. A really great trip and we hope to visit again!

Driveway was very challenging.

This house had just about everything you could ever want in a extended weekend away! Bedrooms were spacious and perfect, and the individual HVAC units in each room made it very accommodating for everyone. There was no loss on entertainment options with the large tv's, pool table, hot tub, and outdoor games as well. Sunday football was a delight, being able to have games going, and even better to be enjoying the hot tub while watching a game or two. We did have one small issue when we first got into the house, which was addressed and handled in an extremely timely fashion. Everyone was very happy with this stay, and there was even discussion to make this a repeat spot for us in the future! Great spot, amazing hosts, and lots to do around the house, as well as plenty close by within a 20 minute drive. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

We enjoyed renting this house to stay in as a family get away. My parents, grandparents, and siblings stayed here along with our kids! The bunk room on the bottom floor worked great for our kids to sleep in. There are three levels so lots of stairs but the top level is only 2 bedrooms and a jack n hill bathroom so you spend most of the time on the middle and lower level. The back deck/porch has a beautiful view of the lake, a fireplace and a tv! Hot tub was a huge hit! Gas Fire pit was fun. Great seating all around the outdoor spaces. Beautifully decorated. No tvs in bedrooms but that’s okay! The house is not on the main lake but tucked back in one of the coves. Quiet but could be hard to navigate a boat back there. Beware of very steep driveway!!! It’s the only downside of this house. There is a gravel pad at the top where you can park 2-3 cars or a larger vehicle but walking up/down the hill is steep! Not ideal for elderly or those with disabilities but there is room for 2-3 cars at the bottom near the house, just be careful driving down! Well stocked kitchen, regular coffee pot, really cute boards for charcuterie displays. Decorated beautifully. Caught a few fish from the dock, even a catfish one night! Some trash down by the dock, but the house itself was very clean!

We had the best weekend even despite the tropical storm Ian brought to Virginia for the weekend. We have 4 families that meet every fall between Maryland and Michigan and we loved this house. Our initial plan was to rent a boat and enjoy the lake, however the storms kept us inside. That was not an issue there was plenty to keep us busy between the games, movies, hot tub, and local arcade. We cooked all of our meals in and had everything we needed! We already started to look at renting again in the future with the same hosts we loved it so much. One added perk, our coffee carafe was cracked and not only did they promptly replace it they brought us lattes! Thanks, we will be back ☺️

Amazing and beautiful newly built home with lots of amenities. Owner is responsive when there is a question. Love the deck! Highly recommend this property.

We had a fantastic experience, the house was so nice that some people in our group just ended up staying in the whole trip, and we only went out once or twice. The rooms and living spaces were so welcoming, you can really tell that a lot of thought went into not just the aesthetic but the comfortability and functionality of every space. Our upstairs bedroom overlooked the lake which was such a fun bonus to wake up to. Everything was so new and updated too, and we kept finding new stuff to use like the ice and wine fridge in the basement, the gas touch stove, the button start garbage disposal, and gas fireplaces and fire pit. The dock was beautiful too, we didn’t end up renting a boat but it’s a great place to hang out or have parties. We had an issue with the WiFi the first 24 hours we were there, but Mike and Sean were both texting me giving updates and trying to get it resolved as quickly as possible even though it was a weekend. They even ended up giving us a partial refund for the inconvenience, which was so thoughtful. We had four kids under 4 with us, and the house worked great. It can always be tricky traveling with kids and staying in places that aren’t baby proof, but we really had no issues. We blocked off the stairs on the porch and basement and they had a great time running around outside and in the house. We also loved eating breakfast on the covered porch, the table was big enough to fit 8 of us and one morning it rained and it was so peaceful eating out there. The TVs outside and by the hot tub were a nice touch as well. We were also not sure from the listing just how close we were going to be from the other houses, but it felt very private. Just make sure to bring your own toilet paper and paper towels, as well as beach towels as the ones provided were smaller hotel towels. We’ve already discussed staying here again. 5 out of 5 stars, thanks for a great getaway!

We had 5 small families converge here. We’ve been doing similar at a beach for 30 years with twice as many people. This is the second year at SML for the half-group. Having a well stocked kitchen was amazing (last year at another unit we even had to buy tableware and cups). The rec room was a mainstay. You could hear pool balls clanking frequently. Kids that missed having a pool enjoyed the jacuzzi, it received excellent comments. Loved and lived on the decks.

Our family met from all over the country. House well stocked for 12 people.
