Host was wonderful for this cozy property. Checked on us (appropriately) during our week there to see if there was anything we needed. Very comfortable! Will stay again!

Quiet, and comfortable. Easy, quick communication with property manager. Only regret was necessary early departure.

Roy was awesome very accomidating! Weaher wasnt as planned but bc he iffered access to other property , We still had a wonderful time. Kids loved it ❤️

It was a pleasure to stay here. private and close to a number of locations. The fact that my events were not as close as I would have liked (my error) disappointed me a little. Without a doubt, I would return and suggest this location to others. Spending more time at residence is the one aspect of the vacation that I would alter. It has everything you could ever need. A fantastic spot for families of all sizes. They were able to suggest attractions to see in the city. There was also a book that let the guest offer recommendations. Even though I didn't need much assistance, the manager was really helpful and seemed to be always ready to assist.

This was during the January '24 deep freeze and the house was warm and he checked on us frequently. Friendly and hospitable.

Loved the feel of home at the Hideaway! We had enough furnishings to make nice meals, space to have the kids play games and adults visit in the kitchen area without being on top of each other. The deck and pool are very nice! The beds and sheets were better than anything at the nicest hotels that we usually stay with when we travel 9 months a year for our racing. The property owners and manager are outstanding people and attended to all our questions and needs. We will stay again!

Great property for a getaway. Good place to park boat or trailer. Close to lake Conroe

My family needed couple of days away after my husband passed. I contacted the owner and he was so willing to help. My kids enjoyed the outdoor setting along with my5 year old Shepherd (who was kennel trained).

Roy was very easy to communicate with and overly accommodating. We came up for a few days from Houston to spend some family time over 4th of July and his place was perfect. Everything we needed, beautiful pool area, smoker and grill. Just the spot if you’re looking to relax for a few days outside the city. We also had our dogs and the property was great as the pool area is fully fenced. Highly recommend!

The property was very clean and well maintained. Our family loved our time. All communication with host and property manager was quickly answered and all outcomes were everything we hoped for. We are not easy to please but every member of our family loved it!!

This little house has everything you need. Far enough away from the traffic, this cute house was still in a great location to local shopping and restaurants. Everything was perfect for our quick trip to Texas, to visit family for the holiday.

Overall, our stay was very nice. The main house is spacious and it is within a short drive to Lake Conroe. It was clean and comfortable. The property is in a neighborhood and not as secluded as the photos might indicate. There is also a large aluminum storage shed being completed right next door .

The house was beautiful, very clean, except for the grill (someone left some dirty utensils), there were 3 comfortable beds, all utensils, dishes, etc. available. Loved having a washer / dryer. Great water pressure in shower. The only downfall was I didn't realize the temps were going to be so cold outside. I rented this spot for pool mainly and privacy. I only wished there was a little more privacy. The home is located on the corner of 3 street crossings where school bus lefts off students, others walk dogs, and or drive by while you're in the pool that is situated in the front yard. The incline to get into the pool area is a little challenging for certain with the uneven walk down...would not recommend for someone with a disability or having to use a cane or walker. However, if not using pool there is a wheelchair ramp to the front door of home. The owner / manager was easily reachable and communicated and took care of certain needs like removing the doorbell camera that faced the only porch you sit on and the swimming pool area. I felt that was a little intrusive. However, it was all good. We actually got to check in a little earlier that made it nice to enjoy a little more daylight in the freezing pool. There was nothing you really needed to bring except some food, drink, and a few condiments. There were laundry soap pods provided with dryer sheets, and plenty of soap, shampoo, and conditioner, dish soap, etc. P.s. If staying upstairs be extra careful as the step outside of bedroom to stairway is a short, narrow quick fall if not paying attention. However, the bedroom upstairs is lovely! There is 4 smart TVs, and the one in living room is huge and we had great wi-fi connection. I would love to return if there were maybe a few more trees around the front of property to hide the adjacent street view and the homes across the street. It just felt a little awkward everyone waving to you while you're in the pool...and vehicle driving by staring.... the hideaway needs to be hidden a little more I think. But, as I said...the home is very lovely, beautifully decorated and very comfortable!!!!

As the title says, it’s a great location if you’re going to the Renaissance Festival. The house was comfortable. A bit older with the typical groans and creaks, but still comfortable. There’s sitting space for 3-4, so it’d be kinda difficult with bigger parties. We enjoyed our stay though. The communication with the property owner and manager was excellent, so don’t worry about that. Overall, a good rental.

House was very nice and spacious. Big kitchen area. Pool was nice and clean. Close to Lake Conroe and eating establishments. Located in wooded area so you felt like you were in the country.

Loved it! Sitting on porch drinking coffee and even saw a deer. Owner was great responding to my questions before we even went also. Would definitely stay here again.

Great stay. The kids enjoyed the pool! Very clean and better than I expected. Roy invited us to enjoy his primary property which had volleyball, clean pond and more!

We had a great experience!!! Listening to the tree frogs and crickets serenading me at night was amazing, plus the little dip in the pool felt soo good. The hosts were very helpful and gracious. Definitely will book with Roy again.

Perfect place to stay. Property owner Roy and his manager were awesome with very quick response to any questions.

Property was clean with well appointed amenities. We received the check in instructions the morning of our check in date. The previous guests left late and the property was being cleaned when we arrived at 4:00 pm. We waited outside for 45 minutes until the property manager completed the cleaning. We were not notified that our check in time would be delayed. The AC unit went out on our second day there, and the property manager was quick to respond to our text. It could not be fixed at the time and the owner and property manager put temp AC units downstairs but they could not cool the home to a comfortable level. Hopefully they have the AC unit repaired. All in all, we tried to be understanding of the issues. The AC unit issue was the day before our check out time, and we just suffered through it the last night of our trip. This property has a woodsy cabin-type feel. The property lot is very sandy and there is some distance between the house and above-ground pool area, so tracking in sand can be an issue. Also there is a downslope of the ground to the small pool deck, so you have to be very careful when getting on and off the deck.

My husband and I came to this little slice of Heaven for our 6 year wedding anniversary. We’re brought our 2 and 3 year olds children and our dog. Our hosts gave us our privacy, but also made a point to welcome us and showed any questions we had the attention it needed. Highly suggest visiting their 5 acre private lake. While where we stayed was cabin like and exactly what we needed, we also tried out their private lake. It was not as I expected; was even better. The private lake reminded me of a surreal private resort hidden away. We had a wonderful time. There is also tortoises to feed!

We had a great time. Location was easy to get to. Place was very clean and soooo enjoyed the pool!

This home is beautiful, we only wish could have stayed longer! My husband and I will absolutely book again. The home was perfect.

Everything was very nice... Only thing we were a little short on couch sit down space...But it was very nice....We would definitely recommend others...And also come back ourselves!!!
