We did not hear from the host the day prior or of our stay with check in info promptly, and we were well into our 8 hr drive there. We had to call Vrbo customer service, they also could not reach the host on numerous attempts. Vrbo asked us to go to the home and see if instructions to check in were there. We arrive about 15mins past 4pm to check in, and knocked and rang the ring doorbell several times. We finally got a message with the code. House was mostly as described, but the front yard had trash, cigarette butts, etc and the play area in back was not as described and looked like no one cleaned up after the last time they were outside. Could be better.

Let me start with the good...the house was clean and the rooms were big with comfortable beds, there were towels and washcloths for us to use and the backyard was an absolute hit for the kids. Now the not so good...There was no wifi and I got no response when I reached out to the host about this, none of the child locks worked, the door lock was hard to figure out and all of the tables in the living room and the dining room table were glass which is just not ideal when you have kids with you. Now for the awful...The first night of our stay we were woken up at 4AM by the alarm system notifying us that someone entering the home through the back door, they went into the basement and began blaring music very loudly waking all four kids. Our second night we were woken at 6AM again by the alarm that someone was coming in the back and then we could hear two people yelling at each other luckily this time the kids were able to sleep through it. Our third night we were woken up at 1AM by them having VERY LOUD intercourse again luckily the kids were not woken up by this. We were not notified, and it is not posted anywhere that someone would be coming and going from the home during our stay!

Loved the stay perfect

This is the first time I’ve had such a bad experience staying in a vrbo property. While on my trip I’ve had countless inconveniences and problems. The utensils in the kitchen has dried food stuck on them. There are exposed wires. The A/C did not work properly for about 35 hours into my stay, therefore, I had to go out of my way to purchase portable A/C units and a fan to keep my toddler son and I cool from the 92 degree weather outside. They also had one air duct fall since it was not secured properly. The maintenance man had came and looked at the thermostat (hours late), said he was going to look at the furnace in the basement and then never returned to inform me on the progress or regression of the A/C situation. Then later on that same day the police knock on the door aggressively searching for the host and a young boy. The following day my family wake up to loud music coming from the basement when we were supposed to have the whole home private to us during our stay. In addition, there are multiple vehicles that will park in front of the home and use our back yard to jump the fence and access the neighbors back door. The hosts communication is very poor and I will never return to this property. Privacy and discretion was NOT provided during my stay.

I liked the inside space it definitely was what i expected and the rooms was nice. I liked the dish washer and the master bed room was nice but i did not like the that the electrical outlets 1 was just a outlet on the floor and the one in the living room behind the tv is old and need to be changed out wouldn't keep my cord inside. The couches was nice but not comfortable for sleeping and the heat wouldn't stay at 70 degrees kept going up to 78. The shower was nice but the bathroom towel racks need to be replaced they fell apart and had to be put back together. Lastly that door needs to be held closed before you can lock it properly i spent 2 days trying to figure out how to properly lock the door.

This property was amazing, host was very in touch if there were things we needed, quiet neighborhood, i recommend this place, and will book again!
