Truly lovely beach home in every way possible. The photos of this home don't do it justice -- beautifully decorated and so well stocked. We treasured staying at this adorable and charming coastal home. Thoughtful touches of extra towels and blankets everywhere, books, decor, and small extras that show great attention to detail. Lorna the property manager was first class and a true professional. When the power went out due to storms, she showed up with flashlights and batteries. Thanks so much for such a lovely stay - we adored the location of being so close to town and beach. Fantastic home and care for our visit! Thank you!

The house is beautifully decorated and was a perfect for for our two families with young children. The house came with everything we could possibly need, especially for kids. Lorna the house manager was so sweet and checked in on us during our stay and took care of any requests right away. We will definitely be back!

We had a great stay at this property. We especially loved all the decks to enjoy the outdoors. Property is well supplied. The area is very nice and close to restaurants and shopping. Lorna is a great property manager. She responds immediately to any request. We actually overlooked an item when packing to leave. She texted us a picture. We were too far away to turn back so she said she’d mail the item to us. Wow! Is all I can say! We’ll look forward to another visit!!

Our family stayed here April 2021 and we loved it! The beach and pool were minutes away -- biking to the village was a short hop -- and the shops and restaurants were great. We especially enjoyed eating outdoors at Mullet Bay and Barrier Reef Brewery. The only disappointing thing on St Simons was the biking trails -- but we were counting more on a beach vacation so it worked out fine.

We enjoyed our stay at this well-appointed and welcoming property in St. Simon's. The house is very kid and dog-friendly, which definitely fit our group nicely, and I really enjoyed all the artwork and personal touches throughout the house. There was plenty of space including several balconies that provide a nice view of the street and beach, which is right down the street. The neighborhood pool is pretty basic but provided a nice opportunity for kids to be in the water since it was a bit too cold for ocean swimming. We also spent a lot of time biking all over the island, and the house is conveniently located to many parks and restaurants in the area. A few comments...the master bedroom and bath are located on the third level, two floors above the other three bedrooms. While my husband and I would have rather stayed there, we felt uncomfortable being that far away from our young children, so we opted to stay in the third bedroom on the first floor, which is definitely a bit of a step down. Just something that young families should be aware of. The bathrooms down there are incredibly dark, and I needed to go into a different room to apply make up etc. Some of the toilets are outdated and needed to be flushed several times. Also, the kitchen cookware and utensils are sort of disorganized and show signs of wear. Overall though this is a nice, clean vacation house for families, and we were thrilled to find a place that could accommodate our golden retriever.

We stayed at Daydream Cottage for a week with our 2 adult children, spouses and 7 month old. The layout was terrific for our group! The different levels made napping and TV watching easy. Everything we needed was at the house..there was not one thing we needed that the house didn’t have. The house was so attractive and well done..bedding was excellent! We really enjoyed the terraces. They were nice to hang out on in the evening. We loved the whole area and beach. Kathy, the property manager was superb!

We like to think of Daydream Cottage as our St. Simons home away from home. Finding a nice home that is pet friendly can be challenging, but Daydream Cottage is a perfect fit for us. Both the owner and the manager are very good about communicating, and we always find Daydream just as we expect - clean, comfortable, and very well-equipped - from kitchen supplies to beach supplies. The bed in the Master Bedroom is very comfortable (we haven't used the others), and there are plenty of towels available. Our dog is very happy there, too!

Everything about the home was exactly as described and it was a perfect fit for our family. Having multiple areas for living was a great feature so that everyone felt like they had their own space. I would definitely recommend this home for your stay.

Our family has been visiting SSI during the summer for the past 20 years. This is our second year in a row at this beach house - perfect fit for our family. Large, beautiful home, well equipped and in excellent condition. Easy walk to the beach. Very well managed by Kathy.

Beautifully decorated, updated amenities, floor plan perfect for a big family vacation! The owner and house manager went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed.

Our family, including 3 babies and 6 adults had a wonderful vacation at Daydream Cottage! Everything we needed was there and the property manager is always eager and willing to provide any extras. We loved it!

The house is fantastic. The elevator is especially helpful when loading and unloading groceries and heavy coolers. House is large enough to handle 3 families and kids. TVs on multiple levels let you divide groups depending on age. Proximity to the beach entrance and pools is about 200 meters from front door. Plenty of parking for 3 cars and 2 golf carts. And the house manager was uber helpful. We'll be back!!

Ideal location, Comfortable furniture and beds, well-maintained, helpful property manager. We have rented this home three times now, and we’re pretty picky! We love Daydream Cottage!

We had a wonderful stay during the month of March at this lovely home. The house had everything you could possibly need or want and was decorated beautifully. The rooms were all large and the different floors made it quite private even when having a lot of guests/family members visiting! The owner responded to every question or email promptly and her "house manager" was a dream to work with! The location of the house was great and very close to the beach and pool. We could ride our bikes into the village and it was close to restaurants, shops and grocery stores. I cannot say enough wonderful things about the house and our experience there.

The house was perfectly designed for our group of 7 adults. We experienced uncommonly warm weather for late February, so we enjoyed every deck-rooftop to back porch. I, especially, enjoyed reading while swinging. The short walk to the beach and the pool drew us there everyday. We had breakfast in the kitchen every morning and dinner more than half the nights we were there. Our one suggestion would be to have more space provided for the food renters bring, since the owner is overly generous with kitchen supplies. Thanks to Kathy for her warm welcome.

After 17 years of owning a second home on SSI this is the first time renting a place after selling our home in July. What a awesome experience the place was just beautiful and had everything we needed. The location was to the beach and views were incredible. Kathy the house manager was extremely helpful and she was there when we arrived We definitely would rent this place again... and again. S Young

If it were not so hot that week, it would have been one of our best 4 th of July weeks ever.

We have stayed in multiple houses on this street and this has been the best one yet
