Property is dirty and tired. It was missing almost everything we needed and what was there didnt work. Numerous requests to manager/owner only received slow auto responses and no one ever came to fix anything. Portable AC is only in 2 bedrooms, Jacuzzi didnt work which was our main treason for selecting this home. No,bbq, pots, glassware or baking sheet. Carpets are dirty and stained. Downstairs shower was broken. There is more but thats enough!

Host takes a long time to respond if they respond at all. We had an issue with the lights not working due a breaker needing to be reset. Rental is not as clean as it should be. Kitchen not stocked as advertised needs towels, dish cloths, dishwasher soap, trash bags, oven mitts. Carpets are stained, portable air conditioners could hardly keep up one completely unusable. Nonworking appliances like the dishwasher the dryer downstairs and the washer upstairs none of them were usable. Not sure if the electric stove works or not didn’t try it, top looks to be in pretty rough shape. Missing remotes for tvs and ceiling fan lights in dining area. Light at top of stairs nonworking and bottom railing loose. Shower head downstairs stairs needs fixing, dirty shower curtains and no grab bar in the tub upstairs and toilet paper holder loose falling off the wall. Beds could use better mattresses or a thicker topper for comfort and as for getting in a hr or so early don’t waste your time host won’t send code until 4. It’s really sad because with a little maintenance and the good cleaning crew this could be a really nice rental. The only good things going for this rental is its great location has a lot of space for a big family and has some nice views of the mountains. So if you only looking for a place to sleep and plan on eating every meal out and don’t need to do any laundry close to downtown Monument this rental would be great as for us it’s only a 2 star with a 4 star price and location.

Stay away from this property. They are uncommunicative. Their AC units (there's only two portable) kept blowing the breaker. were dirty and one had black mold. Basic amenities listed did not exist and the property has stained carpets and is overall in disrepair . They keep putting you off when you ask for a partial refund and it's been weeks now. We all had to sleep in the basement as the weather was in the 90s and their units got us all sick. Avoid this property like the plague.

Communication was delayed especially when requesting early check in. Which was requested 2 before day of and once day of. The area was beautiful. We found that the house lacked in cleanliness all around . I have pictures. The lights kept going out when we would try using the air conditioners that were provided.

Please be cautious. The management company for this property is very difficult to work with. There’s a language barrier and poor response time. Day 1-The kitchen faucet was clearly broken upon on arrival and should have been replaced before we ever arrived. They did not respond in time for us to have drinking water other than a bathroom so my husband drove to Home Depot & bought one, came back and installed it. The dishwasher was also out of service so we had no way to wash dishes. Day 2-The management company switched out furniture at 9pm the following night and brought another dishwasher that still did not work. This should have been taken care of after we left or before we arrived not in the middle of our stay. It was very disruptive and we were exhausted. Day 3-the disposal leaked water all over the floor because it wasn’t installed correctly. I started feeling really bad for my husband who was continually under the sink fixing things. There were not enough towels per number of guest, the hallway fan was broken, one of the stairs to the hot tub was broken, there were no drinking glasses and no filtered water. Very non-relaxing experience. The beds were comfortable. The hot tub was nice. I would not have posted as much detail, except that both VRBO and the host refused to reimburse us for all of these difficulties. They merely paid us back for the faucet we installed. So frustrating and disappointing.

THE HOT house- no AC. The basement is cool but the house was hot most of the time and if you open the windows that do open, lots of traffic noise and smoke smell from controlled burns. Nice space in the house and comfortable beds- but upstairs was so hot we couldn't use one of the bedrooms. Bring your own towels & bath mat. Needs non slip in the tub for older adults. Limited amenities and parking situation is beyond horrible!.

Great house in a nice neighborhood

This was the perfect place for 8 women to stay and enjoy our time together while celebrating the wedding of another friend. It was very close to shops and the venue. We walked to the shopping district and enjoyed the weather and the views! The property had plenty of room to gather and to get ready for the special occasion. The stay was hassle-free and had everything we needed.
