Stairs to the flat could be better.

A great location for anyone who wants or needs to be away from the hectic life and noise of the city centre. Very close to Heraklion metro and train, and not far from Nea Ionia and Neratziotssis which are good shopping areas but very relaxed. Apartment itself was lovely. Not modern by any means but was clean and welcoming. Security was good and the balcony was pleasure to sit out on. It's a residential area so was quiet at night and 2 local supermarkets within 5 mins walk. Owners were friendly and very helpful. Can't say any more than that.

Three minor things: 1. Not suitable for anyone with mobility issues as apartment up a narrow outdoor staircase. 2. Internet not a strong signal and cut out one or two times for about 5 mins.Not a dealbreaker but not ideal if in the middle of a work zoom call :) 3. Would have liked a toaster. But these are minor minor things. The overall package makes this a really nice place to stay.
