It's a beautiful hotel. The surroundings are well kept and the view of the mountains are beautiful. The staff was friendly overall, albeit everyone working at La Palmito could use a helping hand in the art of good service. This does not include the lovely female receptionist of the restaurant who, apart from being very friendly, shows that a smile really goes a long way. The rest of the staff should take notes... We felt more like an inconvenience on a busy day. Purely gastronomically speaking I would not bother to dine at La Palmito if other offerings are available. In my humble opinion it's no more than a decent restaurant in a fantastic setting. We did not sample what Picador could offer after our initial dinner at La Palmito, instead we looked elsewhere. The Bamboleo bar was nice and had a friendly atmosphere. Good offerings of both cocktails and mocktails (without alcohol). The snacks and what I guess would be described as small side dishes were nice too! Service was fast, kind and knowledgeable. It's worth a visit after golfing or if you just want to start off a good evening out.

We booked two rooms and one of them was so heavily perfumed that it had to be properly aired out before sleeping in it. We had both silverfish and ants in one of the aforementioned rooms, but such is life. Everything was properly clean and neat otherwise. The cleaning staff was friendly and helpful. The main pool was closed for some kind of maintenance during our stay, which was a shame. On the plus side there are more pools to choose from. To summarize; I'm sure they get this a lot, but its inevitable to not compare it to Hotel Byblos, in which it by comparison unfortunately falls short. If it was a four star hotel I'd be pleasantly surprised. Now that it niches itself and costs as a five star one I feel like they have some work to do in order to live up to that.

‏The staff at Lazambra Hotel were outstanding—extremely helpful and attentive to guest comfort. The hotel was impeccably clean, contributing to a pleasant stay.

I am deeply disappointed and frustrated with the way the hotel management handled an incident where I injured my finger while I am trying to open the drawers in the room. ‏The drawers in the room were difficult to open and not smooth, which led to a severe break in my middle finger nail and caused bleeding. Unfortunately, the management's handling of the situation revealed that guest safety and satisfaction are not priorities for them, despite the commendable efforts of the hotel staff. ‏After the incident, I requested to speak with the manager. Instead, I was sent an assistant who offered a very simplistic and inadequate gesture—a complimentary massage—as an attempt to leave a good impression. This response was extremely disappointing and unprofessional given the severity of the situation. ‏I did not ask for anything specific and left the resolution up to the management, expecting a thoughtful and guest-oriented response. When I suggested some form of compensation, I was told they had not received any requests from Booking.com, which changed the assistant’s demeanor significantly. Despite multiple follow-ups from Booking.com, the hotel only agreed to waive one night, which was insufficient given the circumstances. ‏I had planned to return to Lazambra Hotel at the end of the week after my trip to Granada. However, after this experience, I have decided that this will be the last time I stay at this hotel. One can encounter any incident, and based on what I went through, it is clear that guest safety is the last of their priorities. ‏Upon my departure, no one from the management team bothered to apologize or bid me farewell, which is unacceptable for a five-star hotel under the Hyatt brand. This experience has significantly marred my perception of Lazambra Hotel, and I urge the management to reconsider their approach to guest safety and satisfaction.

This property is so aesthetically pleasing to look at and very very comfortable. Great bedroom & balcony, lovely pools & comfortable loungers with a little caller button for bar service, great breakfast, great gym, beautiful spa and lovely staff

Luxe, calme et volupté. Rénovation très réussie d'un ancien Byblos fermé pendant une dizaine d'année, le confort du neuf dans le charme de l'ancien. Personnel charmant. Parking très pratique.

Le service du restaurant piscine est lent (l'enjeu, c'est de réussir à passer une commande rapidement). Le placement à une table au petit déjeuner n'est pas nécessaire et entraîne une attente inutile. Pas de gestion des chaises longues piscine (l'enjeu ici, c'est de mettre sa serviette tôt le matin).

Everything. We wanted to relax, enjoy, indulge. That’s what we got. Setting of the hotel, Room (Junior suite), Staff (friendly, clearly well-trained and attentive), Food (high quality level from breakfast to dinner), morning Pilates/Yoga classes, Spa (with warm pool/jacuzi, Sauna and Steamroom) Above all - the hotel is perfect to relax: quiet and not too many guests.

The pricing policy if there was something to be criticized (on a high level) at all. But hey, it’s Hyatt and was therefore expected. We understand that the facilities and the high number of well trained staff cost a lot. In total we paid around EUR 700 (2 guests) per night incl. food and drinks (regular consumption) and two spa treatments Examples: - The first room that we got (around EUR 400 per night had a balcony with view on parked cars, incl. breakfast, not included: spa entrance EUR 30 pP). We were offered an upgrade to junior suite for EUR 80 per night with splendid view, big outdoor terrace (sunbeds and table) and spa entrance included. That was totally worth it! - General rule of thumb seemed to be EUR 16 for a glass of wine, sparkling wine or cocktail that we got served (and a peak of EUR 19 for the glass of champagne).

Its position overlooking the golf course was delightful. Service from the staff was excellent, couldn’t do enough for you. Very peaceful

Wir besuchten dieses wunderschöne Hotel bereits zum zweiten Mal und unsere Erwartungen wurden wieder übertroffen. Ausgezeichneter Service, superfreundliches Personal, tolle, sehr saubere und perfekt ausgestattete Zimmer :). Das Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche offen und das Abendessen war hervorragend. Wir können das La Zambra bestens weiterempfehlen :)

da gibt es nur eine Kleinigkeit : wäre wünschenswert im Restaurant Palmito die Menüauswahl noch mit ein oder zwei vegetarischen Menüs zu ergänzen.

The hotel has changed significantly since our last stay. The atmosphere at the hotel is lacking, it seemed to be very short staffed and staff moral seemed low. A stark contrast to our stay last year. Slow service and lacking menus: Bamboleo, once our favourite spot in the hotel, the music was chilled and relaxed lounge music. Now only 80s pop music plays, the service is very slow at Bamboleo, we were often waiting for 20 mins before receiving menus. Meals there, are only served until 7:30pm. So this leaves you in a pickle if you plan to stay at the hotel for the evening. Palmito has two vegan options, and Picador now has one small bites option and one desert on the menu. The signature La zambra cocktail has been removed from the menu. The menus have changed significantly, there are far fewer offerings for plant based/ vegan guests. Breakfast: At breakfast, plant based options are not offered on the menu (they were last year), you now have to ask the kitchen for the only offering (vegan pancakes) no option for a savoury plant based breakfast (only baked beans). This is highly inconvenient. There are only so many days you can subsist on a diet of watermelon and walnuts. Scrambled eggs are offered at breakfast: It would be easy to offer a simple tofu scramble as an option alongside this. The cold meats are still placed right next to the fruit. So it is possible that the tongs used to pick up the meat are also used to a pick up the fruit. There are two separate tables and these could easily be separated. We had left feedback about this last year and it has only gotten worse. There are no visible gluten free options. You have to ask for Gluten free bread for example and wait 20 mins to get it. Room service portions were minuscule. We ordered a main vegetable dish and received only two pieces of baby sweetcorn, 1 asparagus spear, two cherry tomatoes and two tiny pieces of courgette on a smidgen of Romescu sauce for €16!!! Extortionate pricing!

Weinig faciliteiten voor kinderen tijdens winter. Zwembad buiten niet verwarmd en in de spa maar 2 uurtjes beschikbaar voor kinderen en bubbelbad zelfs niet toegelaten dan te gebruiken door kinderen. Pingpong tafel was leuk geweest.

Mooie locatie aan golfterrein. Laagbouw en uiterst vriendelijk personeel.

Bereikbaar via weg door druk centrum. Hotel staat niet aangeduid. Restaurant niet geweldig.

Wunderschönes Resort mit allem, was man sich nur wünschen kann. Super sauber, tolles Design, sehr nettes Personal. Mehrere Bars und Restaurants zur Auswahl, diverse Veranstaltungen wie z.B. Flamenco-Abende mit professionellen Tänzern. Ein Traum! Besonders toll war auch die Kinderbetreuung für unser 1,5 jähriges Kind.

Beim Innenpool fehlt ein Kinderbereich mit warmem Wasser für die Kleinen.

The photos in the bookings website are misleading I booked a family room but it makes me feel like I am living in a room for disabled people…. But speechless and my room doesn’t have some sunshine too. I would not pay extra money for this if I don’t know this earlier. The breakfast is okay but it can offer more variety, like salad, churros etc. the hot food is disappointing and I can see most of customers don’t eat it. Every else is perfectly it’s a really pretty hotel.
