A bit different to say the least. Room ok and had this and that but.,,,,,
,Am responding to the owners response to my post . The area around might be of outstanding natural beauty but the site is not. It's unkempt . As other people have said, who gave an ok score. Check out reviews. The busy road is Gravesend Road. A227. But tell you what, get someone from Booking.com to visit and see how they rate it.
Was looking forward to the morning when so I could leave. Would suggest getting brand new, soft clean sheets to offset the general sub par glamping feel of the place

If you’re looking for a unique experience this is the place to go. A real bargain, sat in a lovely field with a lake and picnic tables Andy takes real pride in his property
What made it extra special was how welcomed we were. We got to spend time with Andy, hear about his amazing life as a fabulous musician (and got a cd of his to enjoy on the way home - he really is fabulous! What a talent!) and we got to meet his son lovely Tommy and wonderful mother Dee.
We really enjoyed the craic with them, Andy went beyond by bringing a guitar for my husband to play as the sun shone under a beautiful tree. It was so lovely.
If your someone who appreciates being outdoors, and a wee cabin handmade with care then do book. We loved our stay, comfy bed, working bathroom, towels, wee kitchenette with fridge for our supplies we brought and that tv wasn’t switched on once. Why bother when you have a lovely glass of wine and pretty setting.
Bring toiletries like shower gel etc and you only have to ask and Andy will do his best to provide what you need ie wine glass. Such a great humoured fella, and now hopefully a friend who will come see my hubby play in Eastbourne - thanks Andy & family! Oh and lovely to meet your neighbour Jennie too! X
Nothing. We loved it - pics are of outdoors fun we had

The cabin was convenient for a stop on my way to Wales, with an affordable price. When the weather is good and you can be outside a lot, it will be a nice place to stay longer.
The cabin is very basic, with a lumpy bed. A chair is sorely missed and breakfast was a disappointment with a fabric-made sweet filled role in the shape of a croissant.

As I arrived at the picturesque cabin, nestled in the secluded woodland a wave of nostalgia swept over me. Childhood memories of Little House on the Prairie came flooding back.
A beautiful, peaceful escape with the most helpful staff and amazing host.

This picturesque cabin radiated an air of serenity and a sense of calm that enveloped the air.
A cosy, comfortable retreat amidst a beautiful tranquil countryside.
Superb host and amazingly helpful staff.
Stunning.
A little piece of heaven!
Having to leave such a beautiful place x

Stayed there for one night. Small shepherds hut in beautiful countryside. Convenient location. Good facilities provided.
No community from the host after booking. Messaged on the morning of arrival on booking.Com & received a reply next day after checking out. Anyway the cabin was ready when we arrived and I text messaged Andy for a query and he replied within an hour. We stayed in cabin 1 and had a couple moving in to the area the same day so the area was really cluttered and it was not private at all. Description mentions continental breakfast is provided which is bit misleading as all that is provided is two long life croissants and milk to make your own coffee. Lastly, there were possible works going on at the site so the small pond etc was covered and it did not look like as in the pictures.

The cabin was clean and had everything I needed for my stay. Bed was super comfortable, bath a nice touch (only used the shower), shower was fantastic!
I asked Andy if I could leave the car there after check out whilst I explore the local area, he kindly said yes but I didn't need to in the end.
The main window didn't open, when I messaged Andy he didn't come to fix it, it was one of the hottest days we have had this year!
The cabin was advertised as having a garden view, when I arrived this wasn't the case - directly opposite was an old horsebox/motor home, a large tent and a skip which was out of view from inside the cabin. There was no curtain on the bathroom window meaning the occupant could have seen directly in if he had been in the horsebox when I showered.
The toilet was leaking. I didn't report it to Andy as when I reported the broken window nothing was done.

Nothing
The rubbish breakfast, one long life croissant in a packet, shoddy electrics, no hot water in the bathroom, toilet leaks, gaps so large around the walls that you had to put the heater on in July and the view was not of fields but a skip and a traveller caravan

Andy was a helpful host, and a nice chap. Stayed in cabin 1. Water pressure is poor, therefore the shower is also poor. An inline pump may sort the problem.
The outside of the cabin was very boggy with the rain, poor drainage.
The bed was fine, left at the end of my stay and stayed in a Premier plus room. Can honestly say I had a better sleep in cabin one.
The site itself is relatively quiet and peaceful.
Enjoyed my stay, however if the water pressure can be sorted it would be alot better.
Cheers Andy.

it was cute, cosy and comfortable with everything we needed for an overnight stay on our way to Dover.
Breakfast was only a small croissant but we had other food with us.

it was very cheap.
Unfortunately, it was far too cold. I’m sure it would be nice in the summer but for Winer months it was uncomfortable.

very quiet area and very comfortable bed.
struggled with the shower. it’s a shower that is connected to bath tap and couldn’t work out whether the button was stuck or I was doing it wrong.

Very clean and cosy! The facilities and the location were great. Would definitely stay again.
We arrived late and was dark so maybe so some more lighting near the cabins. But now we know the location of cabins this wouldn’t be a problem.

A quirky, quite charming accommodation in reasonably peaceful surroundings. Clean, with most facilities for a short stay being available. Convenient car parking. On the edge of a grassy field which adjoins a country park.
The cabin has the look and feel as if it has been knocked together quickly and cheaply. A basic breakfast selection was provided for our first morning but we had to chase our hosts to replenish on subsequent days. There was a portable two ring electric hob perched above the microwave oven, potentially putting boiling water, etc. close to eye level. A lack of space and a shortage of electricity sockets for the kitchen appliances. Water from the shower was only just warm enough. I suggest a very small outside light would aid return at night and aid unlocking the padlock. Some traffic noise, especially a loose manhole cover, but at a distance.

The cabin is lovely with a comfortable bed, wardrobe, kitchen area with all necessary equipment, fridge, microwave and cooking ring, and bathroom - which even has a huge bath! There was also enough space for me to put down my yoga mat and do some yoga. Self serve breakfast items left were plentiful; cereals, milk, loaf of bread, butter, marmalade, cheese and eggs, plus plenty of tea and coffee.
There is a menu for the local Indian take-away, which I can also recommend.
A heater provided, which heated the cabin quickly and kept it warm (I stayed early October)
There is a huge Oak tree just outside, which provided a beautiful view on a morning. This did drop acorns on the roof occassionally, which scared me a little on the first night until I worked out what it was :)
The grounds are beautiful and peaceful and Andy is currently working on making these even more attractive. He has some wonderfully creative, environmentally and community friendly ideas for development, which already show in what he has acheived here so far.
I will definitley return if I am in the area again
A plug near a mirror would be good. I have a professional hairdryer with a really long lead, so fortunately I was able to plug in, in the kitchen and stretch it round to the bathroom, so it wasn't a big issue, but maybe a small mirror in the kitchen / living area would help?
