As advertised. Neat as a pin, with little unexpected bonuses like scented candles and a little wash basin for your feet when returning from the beach. The owner is very responsive and attentive to your needs. The unit is very quiet, and IMHO on the better end of the resort. The beach is fine, not the best, but far from the worst. The only possible issue would be the lack of very hot water in the shower. It fluctuates between tepid and warm. The good point is you'll never get scalded here. We found the work-around for this is to always use the hand held wand instead of the rain shower head for your showers. This issue is in no way a deal breaker. Just wish the shower could have been a bit warmer. We would not hesitate to stay here again if we ever return to St Croix.

Our stay was excellent. We came to St Croix for a family gathering to celebrate the life of a love one who had recently passed. After the event the weather did not corporate and we had significant rain, which is a good thing for the Island but the electric power went out frequently. Nevertheless we enjoyed our stay.

The stay was fantastic. Just checked out and we’re sorry we didn’t book a longer trip. Loved the ground floor location, because it allowed us to step through the covered back patio and onto the sand. We also got a cross breeze throughout the unit and only used a/c in bedroom at night. Owners were easy to communicate with prior to arriving, and we had no issues to reach out to them with during our stay. The rental was spotless, the appliances were updated and easy to use. Access to washer and dryer in unit were a big help so we’re not arriving home with dirty clothes. We never turned on either of the two TVs, but for people who care, it seems like they have lots of access to different channels. Appreciated the informational brochures/ magazines in the TV cabinet, and sharp knives for preparing meals (most rentals have crappy knives and if you like to cook it makes a difference.) Local folks at these condos were incredibly friendly and helpful, and do a beautiful job on the landscaping and gardens.

Conveniently located centrally on the island. Lots of parking, bed & pillows were very comfortable, extra towels in the closet, kitchen equipped for basic cooking, a grill at the pool for community use. Right out your door to the beach with several lounge chairs for guests.Beach towels, fins and snorkle masks for use. Really appreciated the washer & dryer, and keycode access so we didn't have to carry a key. Dean was easy to contact with issues, and prompt to resolve them. We've stayed at many VRBO's throughout the US and caribbean, and there were a few issues that prevented us from being able to give this 5 stars. 1. For the most part, cleanliness was good, but the shower shelves and grout had not received a through cleaning and there were also crumbs on the counter under the air fryer from a previous guest. 2. At other vrbo stays, we have been greeted by the owner or manager upon arrival at the airport or the vrbo, giving that added touch we have come to appreciate. The owner does not live on the island and there was not someone to provide this service for us. 3. There was no "Welcome to condo 111" infomation booklet. It would be very helpful providing usage info on the cooktop, airfryer, TV and channels available, dishwasher, and the tricky shower handles. Tourist and restaurant recommendations are always appreciated.

Great little place right on the beach! Could not have been more convienient to go straight to the water from the back porch. A little small but very well-equipped place -- great value. Having washer/dryer in the unit was a plus over having to use the coin-operated ones near the clubhouse across the street. Pool was great, too. A/C worked well but with a good breeze we often didn't need it.

Really all the amenities of home with the jewel that is the Caribbean Sea as your back yard. Sunbathe or take a dip every day. You can't beat it. Easy drive into Christiansted. Access to all main roads to get you to mid island to the West end. comfortable furniture and pretty well equipped kitchen.

My husband and I travel frequently and we generally only stay in VRBOs. This one was one of the nicest places we've stayed. The view was just amazing. Walked out the door to literal paradise. It was very clean and neat. It had everything could have needed. The beach towels and snorkel gear was much appreciated! The pool was super clean and the grounds, adjacent condos were quiet and we felt very safe the entire time. I would highly recommend staying here and we will definitely come back again.

The views were spectacular! The unit was exactly as described. Unit was very clean and perfect for my wife and I. Every couple days the beach was combed and picked up. Close to grocery stores and downtown Christiansted. I would recommend this place to anyone who needs a little R&R.

The place was decently stocked, and very convenient to things on the north and east sides of St Croix. Easy parking situation. Beach sand is rough and gritty, but we found the most awesome sugary sandy beach about 20 minutes away near the east end (Cramer Beach Park). We had lots of sargassum seaweed during the first few days of our stay, but currents appeared to take it completely away our last couple days. Shower was a bit funky and tricky to figure out, but once we got it, it was perfectly adequate. For the price point, I think it’s a good deal. The owners and housekeeper worked with a local shop owner to help prepare a honeymoon surprise for my wife, complete with wine, chocolates and flowers etc. they did an awesome job within the budget I gave them! We saved money (groceries are insanely expensive on the island), by preparing some meals in the condo, and just eating out on occasion. Found several lovely restaurants just a few blocks east of there, on the historic boardwalk. Air conditioning in the unit worked great 👍

Just got back from a week at the condo at Sugar Beach. The condo was amazing and is centrally located to do some day trips. It was so nice to step off of the patio into the sand. We loved the care that the two young men had that kept the beach swept for us and they always spoke and waved to us. We went on a 1/2 day Buck Island Tour with “Big Beards”. Great snorkeling led by Leah and captain Stevin. We went in on the beach and the underwater trail. Lots of pretty fish, turtles and stingrays. We also went on a kayak evening tour of the bioluminescent bay with “Bush Tribe.”Pretty cool.

The condo itself was well appointed and had been recently updated. The location is centrally located, however, once off the grounds, the area has a lot of housing projects with some questionable people. The listing, warning of sargassum was true, but they forget to mention that the smell is so bad, you cannot open the doors. Even getting out of the car, as soon as the door was opened, the smell hit you, this was not mentioned at all. It was so bad that we looked at going to another resort, but the owner said it was mentioned in the listing and there was nothing he could do about it, which I understand he can’t control Mother Nature, but a complete warning should be there. Our cable went out on the 3rd night and was not fixed for 3 days. Normally this would not be a problem, but there is very little to do at night on the island, except watch tv. We made the best of it and loved the island itself, but you need to be aware of the sargassum, especially since you will not get a refund, no matter how bad it is.

Pros: The condo is very nicely decorated and very clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The view is amazing! It's close to Christiansted, we walked twice. But by day three we rented a car and were able to explore more of the island. The beach towels, chairs and snorkeling gear were really nice to have especially when going to other beaches. There is a restaurant on either side of the condo and they were really nice. However, Le Cuisinier was over priced in my opinion. Cons: The seaweed wasn't too bad the first few days and there were guys out there removing it from the beach. But by the last 3 days it had taken over the beach and about 50yrds of the water. There was no way to swim in it or past it. But it forced us to discover, Cane Bay and Rainbow Beach, which were lovely. This is obviously not something the owner can control, and it is mentioned in the description. I also don't think it is always there, so it might just depend on the time of year you go. The only other thing that was not ideal was the AC. I was coming off a cold on this trip and after long days in the sun I needed to head to bed a little earlier than my husband, so only being able to turn on one AC unit at a time was sometimes a little hotter for one of us. But during the day we cut it off and enjoyed a wonderful cross breeze by opening the sliding door and the front door. We also cut it off whenever we left the house for the day and it worked fine for us. We had a lovely stay!

The property and amenities are very nice. The apartment is clean and well kept. All appliances are modern along with the decoration. It was nice to have snorkel equipment as well. The location was also nice because it was close to the boardwalk and restaurants. It was also near main roads that could take you throughout the island. The area immediate to the condos is well kept, but as soon as you travel out of the area a bit, poverty becomes evident in many buildings and roads are in this repair. Make sure to watch out for potholes while driving throughout the island. Nobody will think you are drunk as it is common practice. There were only two issues I can comment on. First, the beach had sargasm flowing in every day and it was relatively rocky. The second issue was the living room air conditioner. It was not working when we arrived so we left it off most of the stay. D. Bedroom air worked well enough to cool you in the evening and the breeze with open doors was plentiful during the day. However, if you are extremely sensitive to temperature and the new AC was sitting in the patio and maybe already installed by the end of the summer . There were enough beaches around the island that were beautiful and worth exploring. So the view in the morning and evenings made up for any beach issues. The island is relatively sleepy and provides a great place to unwind and relax. The natural beauty is plentiful and enough to keep you busy every day.

Beachfront access. Quiet beach, excellent for families, couples, anyone looking for a nice time away, close to culture yet like home. Nice pool and amenities if you prefer this over the beach. The condo had everything you need included

Amazing location 👌. Clean and esthetically pleasing. In other Vrbo's a book detailing options for dining choices, local entertainment, instructions for Wi-Fi log on and how to work the TV/ satellite, codes for lock box , slider lock, etc would really enhance this vrbo. Shower door needs to be fixed. Overall good experience. Could be better organized.

Loved our stay. Very nice condo, newly updated with all the necessities. Normally I like to be on a higher level but with this first floor condo, it was super convenient to walk right out onto the beach and still had a great view. The on property pool was a great alternative to the beach. Owner was very quick to respond to our questions. The location was good, close to town and the boardwalk. Comparing other beaches on the island, there are others areas that were definitely nicer. Overall we enjoyed our relaxed beach vacation for two.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time on the island and at the condo. Being right on the beach was a nice bonus. We would definitely stay there again. Highly recommend!

The place was amazing for our week stay in st. Croix. The condo was updated and right on the beach and accessing it was extremely easy. Parking was simple and Dean the owner was easy to communicate with. Would 100% stay at this property again.

This is our 4th trip and actually shortest stay(8days) we have always stayed at the same resort just different condos. We love Sugar Beach. We have rented from same couple before and both places are equally nice. Room next door is slightly bigger with a bigger bathroom but they are both wonderful. Great view, beautiful water and the pool is spectacular. Great restaurants. We love StCroix!

The location was prefect. You can't beat being right on the beach. There was a tire reef off the left which was amazing to snorkel. The condo was very clean. My only complaint if any was the water pressure in the shower. And although we could not get the tv to work in the bedroom area the owner was very helpful in trying to get it to work. And we loved meeting his fur baby Oliver. We really enjoyed our stay.

Whether you want to stay in and laze on the beach that’s just steps away, or explore everything the island has to offer, this location is perfectly located central to fun filled activities all over! A 6 minute drive (on the left!) to Historic Downtown Christiansted, we had the most amazing experiences staying here this past week. Convenient coffee machine, air fryer for reheating delicious leftovers, plenty of plates and cutlery, lots of linens and towel for all those quick rinse off the salt water showers, snorkel gear, beach towels and scenic outdoor seating were all found when we walked in. The vibe is very beach cottage, laid back and newly renovated. Gorgeous space, great location, everyone you will meet here will greet you warmly and you’ll never want to leave. We will be back!

Clean condo, right on the beach.. living room/kitchen and bedroom with bath. Kitchen had all you need, oven range, refrigerator, coffee maker, air fryer, microwave, toaster, etc. Easy to walk out the back porch onto beach. Snorkels, fins and masks for two. Everything about this condo was perfect for two. Owner was responsive as we had a few questions in the beginning. Neighbors were welcoming and helped us with some local restaurants although we mostly just search yelp or google to suit our interests. Quick drive into Christiansted which we did most days and easy access to the bypass (expressway?) leading to the east side or west toward Fredriksted. If you turn right out of the complex area you end up at 5 corners, if you take Main Princess road there is a food town grocery store on the left a short while ahead, we liked this store more than most we visited. Also just past that on the left is Blues BBQ which had great food and drinks. We even stopped there Sunday for brunch. They had mimosas and live music at 10am. This is an outdoor venue with lots of shade areas and a large bar to sit at. The one piece of advise is when driving take a left out of the complex and the first right. This is the best road out, gps tried to take us through an apartment area with terrible, pothole roads. Do the same returning, take north side road and turn near the McDonalds.

This property is very clean and maintained. We enjoyed walking right out onto the beach every morning and spent several afternoons laying by the pool. We enjoyed going to the boardwalk or elsewhere and coming back to this quiet piece of paradise. There aren't many restaurants within walking distance, so we did use the kitchen often. There is a grocery store within walking distance. Shower pressure was not the best, used the handheld as we found that worked better. All in all it was a great place to stay and we definitely would love to stay here again.

Everything was as listed. Clean, efficient condo. Great location in Christiansted and close to downtown/pier. 1st floor step out onto the beach. Grounds are well maintained. Near to attractions. Would definitely recommend.

We love being on the ocean, and this condo at Sugar Beach has excellent ground-floor access to the beach. We had everything we needed for our two-week stay with a comfortable bed and nice linens. The swimming pool is an added bonus.

Beautiful property!!

Our trip was full of adventure due to local property work and a tropical storm. The owners were very accommodating and great at communicating throughout the process. This site is beautiful, right on the water, and easy to access. Also close to town.

Wonderful condo right on the beach. Bed was comfortable, sheets were soft. I stayed right on the condo"s beach some days, because it was so nice, better than expected.! Would stay there again in a heartbeat!

Loved that you could walk out onto the beach from condo. Pool was great, could have used shade/cover to get out of the sun while in the pool.
