It would be difficult to top this view, it is an absolute gem! The house was roomy and had everything we needed for a good stay. The furnishings are outdated and several things need repair/attention, but with a little TLC, Kelly's Cove would be an all-around treasure.

Great view. Comfortable. Easy to enjoy. Issues: My friend slipped and fell on slick front steps. This needs to be addressed. Tread needs to be added. May have broken ribs. Stairs to upstairs need treads as two near slip moments occurred. Stairs block front entry partially. Is this up to code? Water leaks behind kitchen sink faucet platform. Upper kitchen cabinet trim ready to fall off. Deadly scratched old non-stick soup pot should be discarded. Otherwise a charming retreat.

This property is the epitome of Ocean Front. You are literally just feet from the sea. Vaulted ceilings with a wall of windows makes this place absolutely magical. We were there for a beautiful storm and woke to the waves carrying giant logs to the shoreline. Mesmerizing and therapeutic to watch. Constructive criticism: The beds were comfortable enough but could improve. Nicer linen’s would help. Even if none of that changed, we would return. Thank you for sharing your cozy cottage with us!

I knew this was where I wanted to stay when I first saw the photos. We spent so much time just looking out at the ocean that we started to joke about it. The fact that a storm lasted most of the 4-days we were there made it very entertaining. The location is terrific with easy access to everything in Yachats. The house itself is terrific and felt very save and dry during wind gusts well over 50 mph. The cozy looking chairs in the living room are outstanding, but be prepared to wake up in one after everyone else has gone to bed. We hope to visit again before too long.

We had planned three nights at this property (9/7-10). My sister is a realtor and had business she had to handle, so wifi/internet was a must. I emailed Meredith Lodging (ML) prior to our stay to be sure the home had it. I received an email back that it did. When we arrived we found that there was no internet and the TV did not work. We notified ML immediately that we needed the internet as soon as possible and they asked us to restart the modem/router which my husband did and that didn't work. She said she would put in a maintenance order for someone to come fix it and would call us back to let us know status. Long story short, no one came, no one called us back, and so we had to find lodging somewhere else. Luckily The Overleaf lodge had a cancellation and they were fantastic! We let ML know we had to move and would not be able to stay at the property. The next day when we talked to ML about getting at least a partial refund, the problem still had not been fixed and we were told that wifi/internet was an amenity and that amenities were not guaranteed! I've never heard that before. Other than those issues, and still to this day not getting a call-back from ML, the home has a beautiful view. Be aware though that the afternoon sun coming through all of the wonderful windows makes the den very warm and the upstairs loft was pretty much unusable it was so hot. It was very cool outside (had to have a jacket) but too warm in some of the rooms inside. Having shades that could be lowered on those top windows just during the late afternoon sun would really help. Overall, we are really disappointed in ML's lack of communication and the fact that we had to get lodging elsewhere. I gave the home 2 stars because of the beautiful view.

Beautiful property with terrific views. Only one negative, due to all the windows and skylights with that beautiful view, the living room and kitchen get quite warm from the afternoon sun. A ceiling fan would be helpful.

This property has an exceptional view (is it still a "view" if it's basically the ocean in your backyard? :)) and is neat as a pin. Within walking distance to cafés and restaurants, and just a few miles to spectacular hiking. We can't wait to return!

We normally stay in a resort or hotel and this time, we decided to try something different and since we are older, we just wanted to relax. As soon as we walked in, the house was so clean and bright, once we saw the beautiful view through the floor to ceiling windows, we knew we made the right choice! We saw whales, seals, baby elk and many birds throughout the week and the ocean waves gave us a different show every day! Thank you for making our family vacation a memorable one and we look forward to having another chance to stay at Kelly’s Cove!!

Watching the waves from main room was fantastic. The kitchen was setup well (even if we didn't use it much), and the master bedroom had a great view as well. Only quibbles: a couple things referenced a garage door opener, but there was none, so coming & going was a bit of a hassle. Also, cell phone strength was weak, so trying to logon to wifi from the car to look up the details was thwarted by finding out the check-in info had incorrect wifi info (the correct info was on the fridge). So still a few kinks to work out. But otherwise a great place!

The moment you walk in, all you see through the wall to wall windows is the ocean crashing on the rocks below. The kitchen has all new appliances and everything you need to cook and prepare meals. The furniture is comfortable and the fireplace creates a warm, cozy atmosphere.
