My fiancé and I, plus my sister and her fiancé stayed here over Labord Day weekend to visit my grandparents. My grandparents just live 10 min away in Sunrise beach, so location for us was good (drive time wise). We stay in rentals down in this area 2-3x/year. This was unfortunately our worst one and yet not the cheapest. This house is literally full of spiders! They were literally dropping from the ceilings on us. I cannot describe how disgusting all the spiders and webs are both inside and outside of the house. We are all COVERED in spider bites! We stripped all the beds and there are no signs of bedbugs, so that’s good. But it’s disgusting to think that many spiders were crawling over us at night and biting us. To charge that much $ per night and then on top of it charge that much of a cleaning fee, then it should have spiders dropping on my head in the shower. We were all so disappointed in this rental. It also smells very musty/mildest which we think the owners must be aware of because there are febreeze air fresheners every 5 ft. Which then just makes the home smell of musty mildew with an overlay of febreeze. The smell is engrained in the carpet and furniture. You sit down on the couch and it just billows up through your nostrils.

We loved everything about this property. The location could not have been any better for us. We will definitely be back to stay again!

The only issue we had with this property was that the water was very rough at this location. It was difficult to dock/tie up the boat during the day. Otherwise it was a nice place-fenced in yard was a plus and there was a lot of outdoor deck space.

The house was decent sized. The clothes washer didn't work and we were not told ahead of time. Packed light as we were going to wash clothes - ended up purchasing clothes to make it through our stay. The house has numerous bugs and spiders. The fenced in yard was good for our dog. The dock was nice and had lots of fishing area. The solar lights along the steps/pathways didn't work and was really dark at night. The lowest level was musty smelling and the upper level smelled like campfire smoke. Plenty of dishes and cookware which was awesome.

The location is amazing! The areas with views and decks (both sun and shade) are even better than pictured. Super comfortable place in a quiet neighborhood. Bonus that our dog had a fenced-in yard. Great cooking kitchen. A little light on the master bedroom clothing storage and tight shower, but it's worth it. Would absolutely book again.

We booked the home to get away and rest and we were very happy with our stay. We plan to return soon.
