Beautiful Home with plenty of space for two to four people. My wife and I enjoyed the home so much she wants to go back and stay longer! There is a book with the history of the home and when you read it you become part of its history and family. We absolutely recommend this home to anyone that is just wanting to relax and rest!!

This home was absolutely lovely. It was clean, well kept, and quiet. The grounds were beautiful, and we enjoyed the rocking chairs on the porch. There were little birds flying in and out of the ferns. It brought back memories of being at my grandmother’s house. We slept so well. Very comfortable home.

The front porch rockers are very comfortable. The screened in back porch is a great place to watch fireflies and listen to the creek. The owners left goodies and were very pleasant in all interactions. Thanks, Janice for sharing your family treasure with us!

We had only one night to stay in the area before a business meeting nearby, but thoroughly enjoyed this space, walked to Hillmans Brewery in the afternoon, drove to Black Mountain for dinner. The front porch was beautiful and relaxing the next morning, even in the rain, the house was very clean, well supplied and comfortable; hosts were available and willing to help if needed. Slept well, no complaints.

The house, while 'more mature' was a joy to be in. The owners went way out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. These folks and their wonderful home made is feel right at home!!

The home was very beautifully decorated and had many amenities…like coffee.. tea…snacks and any other things you would like ! Special items for bathroom… sprays for cleaning or just a variety of other odds and ends! Very comfortable bed and the home was spotless!!! We very much enjoyed our stay there!!! If you are going for a party & busy stay this is not the place for you. However, if you are going for a relaxing quiet getaway it is perfect! We enjoyed ourselves very much. The only suggestion that I would make is to add that you are in a dry town and other than the brewery there is no place to get a beer. This is not a problem but would have brought some with me if I had known.

We had a lovely time here after a day in Old Fort. Quite, easy checkin and out, and we loved the fireplace!

We were only there for a quick overnight stay but it was super easy and convenient for our needs. Coffee and creamer was gratefully appreciated for our early departure! Would stay here again if opportunity presents.

This was a very nice place. The hostess had gone out of her way to make us feel welcome. There were added touches in decor that were lovely. Sometimes you don't get what you see, this was even better than what you saw.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at the Turner house in Old Fort. From the great price to the welcoming touches in every room! The absolute best part was the screened in back porch surrounded by quiet neighborhood while listening to the sounds of the creek nearby. Don’t forget to say hi to CoCo, the beautiful tortoiseshell resident cat!

Our stay at this lovely rental home exceeded our expectations. The home itself is beautiful. The grounds surrounding the home are very well taken care of. We LOVED spending time on the huge front porch, and the huge, screened in back porch. The kitchen was stocked with whatever you may need. There is a lovely dining room to enjoy your meals. The front room furniture is so comfortable. The beds are very comfortable. We loved everything about this home! It is in close proximity to Black Mountain, Chimney Rock, Asheville, Hendersonville…all places we visited during our stay. Hillman Beer and Black Beary ice cream are walking distance from the home. We visited them more than once! The host left many goodies for us, including fresh flowers in a vase on the dining room table. We were pleasantly surprised and felt very welcome with all the other treats left for us. I highly recommend choosing this rental. You will not be disappointed. I hope to stay again someday.

We planned on staying here for a mountain bike race that started in downtown Old Fort. This property was a perfect blend of being quiet/off the downtown strip, but close enough to walk or bike to dinner. The front porch is worth budgeting time into your trip for, idyllic with a cold beverage as the sun goes down. The owners were super responsive and hospitable.

My wife and I enjoyed our overnight stay while visiting Asheville for a concert. The property is superbly maintained and has a very “home away from home” feel. Owners have gone to great lengths to make sure guest have what they need to enjoy their stay. It is about 30 minutes from downtown Asheville, and whenever I need to visit AVL again I will book here if available!!

This felt like a genuine home away from home. It was very easy to relax there and suck a quick drive to hiking, coffee, Asheville and black mountain/Montreat. Thank you for taking great care of our stay! We will be back!
