Ant infestation needs to be addessed, better appliances and glassware needed, higher level of upkeep/upgrades needed

Our stay at De Ja Vue offered a mix of stunning scenery and a few challenges. The location is absolutely perfect, providing breathtaking views that made our time there truly memorable. The home itself is mostly clean and well-maintained, with a spacious layout that was ideal for our family. However, we did encounter some issues that affected our experience. Upon arrival, we found the living room carpet covered in dog hair, which required us to vacuum immediately, especially with small children in our group. Additionally, there were some basic necessities that were lacking. We found ourselves running out of toilet paper, as only one roll per bathroom was provided, along with just one roll of paper towels for our 4-day stay. There were also no beach towels provided for a beach house. We had to reach out to the property management to request garbage bags, as none were supplied. As travelers from out of town, we were disappointed to learn that restocking these essentials was our responsibility, requiring an unplanned trip to the market. The dish soap and hand soap provided also appeared to be watered down, which was another minor inconvenience. While the property’s location and overall ambiance were outstanding, the lack of attention to these basic amenities was surprising and an annoyance to an otherwise enjoyable stay. We hope that the management will take these points into consideration to enhance the experience for future guests.

The view of the ocean

This house is a little dated but was very spacious and had a stunning view. it had more steps than I could imagine, but for most of the people in our group that wasn’t a problem, but I can imagine for some folks it would not have been as easy. The kitchen was well stocked with things.

Unending views of beach and ocean. Exactly as advertised! Loved every minute of our stay.
