We enjoyed the spacious home, beautiful grounds, and nice marina view at the Laurel Point rental. Quiet, comfortable, and nicely stocked with essentials. Check-in was easy, and a Karen was responsive to the one question we had during our stay. This is an authentic vintage property so the outlets are a tad loose for charging devices with a large power block, but with a bit of creativity, you can make it work. There is a self-clean option that I didn't quite recognize as such on the rental agreement, but it was not a problem for our neatnik group. We saw a fox tip-toeing through the yard as we peered out the window sipping our coffee one morning. Nice!

We were 6 adults visiting for a biking trip. The minute we drove up to the property our jaws began to drop, our heart rates and blood pressure dropped. When we stepped inside we found it spacious and clean. The layout offered all 3 couples enough privacy when needed or wanted and space enough bring out the guitar and song sheets. It was far enough away from the town of Friday Harbour but close enough to wander in to poke around the many lovely shops. Loved, loved, love this property. We are talking about making it an annual getaway

We had a great time on San Juan Island! We loved staying at the Laurel Point House! Beautiful views, clean, beautiful rooms and a reat kitchen. San Juan is a wonderful Island to visit! We had an unbelievable orca whale watch with Maya’s Legacy. We ate several meals at the Friday Harbor House! The views are the best on the Island and the food is delicious and fun!

We rented 170 black road for our wedding and had our bridal party stay with us. All rooms are appropriate for an adult couple and the living spaces and views are amazing. We would love to come back and stay again

This property has everything needed for a great time especially being so close to town. Great communication with property manager and views were outstanding.

Everything about the VRBO was exemplary except the upstairs which is open to the downstairs with a narrow, spiral staircase. The day of arrival the air quality was over 100, which is bad. The temperature was also quite warm. I had inquired of the host before arriving, if there were fans for the upstairs and she replied the house had air-conditioning, and if fans were needed she would make sure we had some. Upon arrival the heat and lack of air flow upstairs was terrible. There was only one in the big room and it was small. There was no window that could open in the other bedroom, and one window in the bath. I texted the host to ask for fans and told her how hot it was upstairs, she said to crank the air cond. down, I assured her we did. I was taken aback by her defensive, and downright unkind response: which was, "You must have the emergency heat on, or something ridiculous like that". My son works@ Google in Engineering and knew how to operate the thermostat. We also told her there were no a.c. vents upstairs which she responded "There ARE floor vents, you can get it freezing in there." My husband, my brother and my son went back upstairs and the only (wall) vent was for heating only. There were NO air vents unless they were covered with carpet. I could not convince her. She said she would send her housekeeper in the morn with fans. I told her it was to be cooler and nevermind.

Family trip to San Juan Island. GREAT VRBO! Unique house well kept and well stocked.with every essential in the kitchen and throughout! Such a welcoming, peaceful view of the harbor from all bedrooms, family room and wonderful deck! Surrounded by cedars and a artful Japanese Maple. Lovely neighborhood. Far enough away from downtown to be quiet and restful, close enough for easy access to town and all the fun shops, restaurants and activities. Would highly recommend this VRBO!!

Excellent location & view of the Harbor and convenience to Friday Harbor. This house was very charming and comfortable with its unique floorplan and eclectic furnishings, super spacious. Very well kept and clean! Rooms are large with amazing views in every room including living room! Kitchen super cool with great layout and island in the middle. Oven was old and small but still working. Kitchen nicely stocked with everything you could possibly need. Our stay was amazing and fun, would definitely come back!

We celebrated a milestone birthday with dear friends in this beautiful and comfortable home! We spent time every evening sitting on the deck overlooking the harbor, taking in and enjoying the tranquil setting. Karen was a pleasure to deal with—very responsive and accommodating. We definitely plan to come back!

Came to Friday Harbor for work with a co-worker and brought my family and my daughter's 2 friends. There was so much space in the house and plenty of room for us all to spread out. My wife was even able to use a waterview desk to "work from home" while we were there. Our kids walked to town on their own safely. The house is convenient to town and easy to access.

We loved the house and Karen was very attentive. The location is perfect with beautiful views and we enjoyed watching a pair of seals play every day.

Quirky home where time stood still. Wood panelings throughout the house and shaggy carpet in living room. Washer, dryer, oven are almost antique, impeccably maintained and all work great. The bathrooms have been renovated. Location of showerhead in Master is awkward though. Should have been installed on the short wall. Excellent heating system. The only minus we found is the stock of old plates, cups, etc in the kitchen which are way beyond their useful time and we suggested to buy new ones.

We stayed at the home during an amazing weather window and we had a great time. We will be back. The home is a "On golden Pond Experience" It had a great vibe and location. The views are to be seen. Incredible experience. Really enjoyed the sunsets the most.

The pictures do not do this home justice. This house was absolutely perfect for our family! Staying at a unique home/layout is something we search for and this place did not disappoint. There was room for everyone to either mingle or have some alone time. Super clean. Host was amazing/responsive. Beautiful property and view. Close to Friday Harbor but felt like a world away. Well stocked kitchen (I try to cook 2-3 meals at each VRBO we stay at so this is very important to me). Would defiantly stay here if/when we go to the San Juan Islands again! (oh, and we want to redo our whole home with the carpet this place has! Amazingly soft!)

Lovely, quiet, relaxing location on the water. Dated but cool mid century rustic. Great for 5 adults family birthday celebration.

The kitchen is well-stocked with baking pans and cooking pots, including some very large ones. Very comfortable and romantic master suite with its private deck.

We enjoyed our stay here quite a bit. The quiet marina was beautiful to see out our window, and the privacy of the lot was super nice. The cleaning could have been a bit more thorough but when I communicated it to the property manager, she assured me that it would be fixed right away. You can tell the owners and manager care about this place. It’s very retro 70s but it has everything you could need. We loved staying just outside of Friday Harbor.

This house was all we needed and more for our vacation on Friday Harbor. Stunning views with windows to take it all in. Great layout with the 2 bedroom and large loft. A short walk from Shipyard cove Marina and the Turn Point County park. If you are looking for a quiet, serene getaway, this is your spot!

This beautiful property is tucked into a secluded cove and wooded area. It provides all the amenities and privacy one would want. The style and features make this property a mid-century time capsule, yet has all the necessary updates. Would love to stay here again
