The queen room is so comfortable!!!! They had a little fridge with ice cream and yogurt, a coffee machine and tea, they even made cookies. It was so peaceful.

It wasn’t really clear that the room was upstairs and that the hosts would be home.

The home was beautiful and clean. Melissa was welcoming, helpful, and provided access to snacks and water. The towels in the bathroom were thick and great for a shower.

We are used to a firm mattress and had difficulty adjusting to softer/foam mattress.

The only plus was it was close to the medical facility where I had appointments.

Well to start with the day before we were supposed to arrive there we got called and said that the guest house we had booked was unavailable. We were swapped out for another supposedly as nice place but that was not the case. We were put into a two bedroom that needed a lot of work done to it. The second bedroom had Linens tossed on to the bed but the bed was not made up. In the bathroom for two adults for a four night stay there were two towels. The average high temperature was 96° during our stay and the thermostat was locked out so you can make it no cooler than 73. Every 2 hours it automatically set itself back to 75 or 76. So it was uncomfortably warm. The area where we were was sketchy at best and very loud with traffic. The guest house we booked had a pool, the place we were put into did not. But I was told don't worry about it there's a park across the street. Yeah it is a public park and I didn't want to go over based on the traffic that was in the park. One reason we booked the guest house was because of the pool. This was a classic bait and switch in my opinion. I would avoid doing business with these people.

Melissa was promp, clear and provided top notch guest-care. I appreciate the accommodations she made, as well. The decore and atmosphere were lovely. Near several lakes, restaurants and shopping centers. The whole stay was very relaxing. Highly recommend!

The bed was wonderful!

Location was near downtown which was great, in residential neighborhood. Accommodation was private from main house which was great. Pool small but lovely to sit around it at night time.

Curtains could have been heavier/darker.

We loved the location and the atmosphere of the Hollingsworth Guest House and will definitely book again in the future.
