House was situated out of the centre however you could still go to the center by walk. There was free parking from 7pm to 9am. Otherwise you could park for 4 h max or arrange it for all day with the owner. Room was nice and clean

It seems to be advertised with the shared space with living room and kitchen, however this space was part of owners house and was locked in the afternoon/evening’s. Not sure from what time, but when I asked, the owner said that this is private house space. You could have breakfast in the kitchen part. It was pretty basic so we had it only once. Otherwise you could not have any food or drinks in the room and kitchen was closed. So you can’t really eat anything there. For us was fine as we planned to be outdoors, but in case someone is planning , this info can help.The rooms were not much isolated against the noise. We were kind of lucky as we did not have noisy neighbors, however my husband was woken up by a loud yawning of our neighbor. 🙂

One of the best accomodation I’ve chosen! The house is beautiful inside and outside, the owner designed every last bit of it with a very sophisticated taste. He also makes an excellent breakfast every morning if you wish. Loved it there and definitely recommend!

Lovely interior design and very attentive hosts that help you as well as they can. Cute garden to have tea in. Rooms very cleaned and cleaned daily.

If you love design, this is the right place to be. The house and the rooms are styled with love and attention to detail. The breakfast was perfect. It was requested individually every morning and everything was freshly prepared. The city centre can be reached by a short walk. Just 10/15 minutes away.

Everything is perfect. City center is like 1,5km walking and its located next to the free parking area. The room is great. Very nice decorated, clean and spacious! The room also has an airconditioning (you need that in Bordeaux). Great hospitality!

That we already left after 3 nights…..wanted to stay longer.

The house and the rooms are stunning. We stayed in the suite with garden view which is a very spacious suite. The bed is very comfortable as well as the shower. It is about a 15 mins’ walk to the centre. To the river it is a bit of a longer walk, about 30 mins’. We didn’t mind, as it is quite relaxing to have a longer walk after a heavy meal. Breakfast is nice, with bread, eggs, cheese, ham, jam, muesli, orange juice, hot drinks and croissants. How a French breakfast should be. :-) Price-quality this place is perfect! We would definitely stay here again.

We were surprised there was no shampoo foreseen. Not a big deal if you know in advance. ;-) You need to pay 300 euro caution, just in case you break something. The rooms and the house are wonderfully decorated, with nice decorations everywhere, which made it a bit stressful for two clumsy people. :-D We didn’t break anything though, so I am sure that if we can everyone else can too. ;-)

Room was very clean and nicely furnished. All room facilities function well and breakfast was very enjoyable.

I had made a booking for this hotel in June whereby the hotel was offering a free room upgrade for Genius members on booking.com. I purchased a room with a free upgrade to a “deluxe room with garden view”. With the good reviews and the lovely photo, my husband and I were really looking forward to this hotel which makes the following incident even more disappointing to our experience. When the owner showed us to our room, the room was completely different to the one in our reservation (no garden view and half the size of the one we reserved). When we enquired to the change of room, the owner simply replied “there was a problem with the room” - in the months leading up to our arrival to the hotel I did not receive a single notification that there was an issue with our reserved room and that we would be moved to another room. Upon hotel breakfast we noticed that there were enough couples to have occupied all the 3 rooms of the hotel. We had realised that the owner had in fact not honoured our room upgrade and had given our booked room to another couple who paid the full price. We had brought up this issue with the owner who had tried to avoid blame and explained that we were not entitled to the room in our original booking because we didn’t pay full price and that there is no guarantee that your booked room will be available during your stay. I had booked this room with my credit card being charged on day of reservation months in advance, so his excuse is just a lack of accountability and professionalism to deliver what was promised to his guests. If you don’t honour the free room upgrade, then why have the option available onsite??? My advice to other guests, - proceed with caution as you might be disappointed with what you receive.

The house is beautiful, room is large with great decor. The owners were welcoming and helpful.

I enjoyed my stay. Bruno was a very welcoming and attentive host. Breakfast was great and customized for my allergy needs.

Huge comfortable room, sparkling clean, walking distance or bus ride from the heart of the city but very quiet neighborhood, discreet and helpful host not to mention the breakfast (varied, fresh fruits,...)

Can't think of anything we didn't like.
