If you want a great way to experience Tybee Island & Savanna area, this is your place. Great views of the Atlantic & nice locations close by for eateries. Short drive to Savannah to explore the shops & riverwalk. Definitely would recommend.

This property was just as advertised and was very roomy and comfortable for the family. The only change that might increase the enjoyment of future stays would be curtains in the great room and blackout curtains in the bedrooms. Otherwise, this was a great experience for everyone. I would recommend this property.

Enjoyed our stay! Everything was clean and comfortable. Great location with easy beach access. Would recommend for a great family vacation.

The condo was well laid out and it was great to have elevator when we arrived and left. The porch was a special feature with lots of chairs and nice view of the ocean (though higher levels would be even better for that). Great common areas and bedrooms/bathrooms not fancy but perfectly suitable. Two recommendations - add grab bars in the showers. Kitchen needs more pots and pans (only one tiny fry pan) and coffee mugs (only 5 which was enough for us but not for larger groups). Otherwise it was everything we needed for cooking. Would definitely stay here again

Wonderful stay at Tybee Island and at Once Upon a Tide. Accommodations were excellent exactly as described. Beach, touring the island the shops and restaurants were perfect for our visit And as a bonus the production crew for the filming of new movie was being filmed just down the street from our retreat What a bonus We will certainly keep VRBO the next time we think of hitting the beach again

Loved the location, condo size, layout, features and cleanliness. Only negative: full size beds in one bedroom were very uncomfortable. Otherwise, 5 stars!!

Everything was amazing! The space and the view

The place was beautiful and located in a great place. The beds were comfortable. We had a good time, but there were some maintenance concerns. We had lots of ants in the bedrooms. Also, the floor was not well mopped, so we wore shoes or socks the whole time. Finally, they had a carpet under the dining room table which was pretty but not good for pets. Never have any carpeting in a pet friendly room. The price was a little high too.

The property was well maintained and modern. The beds were satisfactory but nothing plush. The furniture was nice and clean with enough seating comfortably for 6. The chairs for the kitchen table were not very comfortable especially if you have junk in the trunk. Lol The bench seating at the table was not very sturdy the legs needed tightened. The kitchen was decently stocked, however the oven was not great very uneven cooking. The cooktop was ok. Could have had more of a selection on pots and pans . You should plan to bring several of your own kitchen towels. You are only provided with one towel and sponge. The floors were swept well but were not mopped. Our feet were filthy black from just walking around in socks or barefoot. There is a vacuum, broom and dustpan but no mop. The outdoor back patio was fantastic! The only complaint with the back porch was one ceiling fan was not working. The elevator from the parking area to the unit made unloading the car and grocery trips a breeze. Parking is a real problem. You are allowed 2 cars only! There is absolutely zero free parking on Tybee island. It costs $42 per day to park away from the beach and 4 dollars per hour for beach front. It is heavily enforced and you will get got if you forget to plug the meter or add time on the parking app. Also speed limits are highly enforced! Don’t speed, we saw at least 2-3 speed checks per day.

Everything was great except check out time is hard to meet deadline 10 AM!

Excellent stay in Tybee, perfect sunrise views and just a minute walk to the beach. I would recommend this spot to anyone with a kid or two. The condo was clean and comfortable even in the middle of a tropical storm. I would absolutely book again. If you plan on staying here just a note; you are next to a beach sand will get everywhere, plan accordingly.

Everything about this property exceeded our expectations! From the size of the unit to the features and amenities , we were amazed. The views from the enormous wrap around porch were stunning and beach access was just a short walk! Great location and property for a family vacation!

The inside was fantastic. The outside was good, but worn.

Our property was absolutely beautiful! We loved sitting on the porch swing and looking at the ocean. We even saw dolphins one day! The property was exactly as presented in photos and described online. It was definitely hard to leave. PS The beds were heavenly!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Once Upon a Tide beach house. The space was more than sufficient for our six person, family, and we had the essentials to start off our vacation with summer to spare. The location was fantastic, with a beautiful view each morning and evening. The only thing that could be considered lacking was the amount of comfortable seating for our entire family to watch a movie on a rainy day, or in the evening after many hours at the beach. One couch was perfect, but that only sat three of us. Still, I would highly recommend this particular rental, as it was clean and super easy to access the entire time. The staff were quick to respond to any questions that we had, including a noise from the refrigerator, which ended up being insignificant. Highly recommend!!!.

The cleaning crew is amazing, not one single issue! Furniture is comfortable, the porch is were you'll spend time, day and night. Only nit to pick, the TV is composed of a bunch of apps and you can watch Fox or OAN but not CNN so those of us from blue states need to watch online. Should mention the WIFI/Internet speed is very good. Hope to come back with more family to fill up the rooms.

Took my office on retreat. We had a blast. view was great and the location was perfect. Highly recommend!

My sis and I took our 81 year old momma on a getaway. The place was soooo nice!!! Mom had to hang back one day because she wasn’t feeling up to a vigorous day. She was so happy to watch the ships coming and going. The place was well stocked and spotless! The beds were very comfortable. Wish we were still there.

Had a nice time visiting our daughter with two of our friends. Walked the beach, walked to dinner, sat on the porch and just had a great time. Had everything we needed in a really nice home.

Very comfortable place in a great location. Easy walking to beach, shops and restaurants. Modern appliances and smart tvs in every room. Large ocean front porch with plenty of seating to enjoy your coffee for the sunrise and cocktails for the sunset. Easy ride to Savannah as well.

We could not be more happy with our stay at Tybee Island! The property is exactly as pictured and described. Very, very clean! A nice surprise for us were the taller chairs on the porch that were very comfortable and able to look over the railing and see the beach/ocean! A porch swing was also new and not pictured and four other chairs which made it quite relaxing! Our location was only steps to the beach access and we were able to walk to the pier, shops and restaurants. We will definitely use this condo again and will also recommend to others. Two tiny things that I would add to the inside would be a cookie sheet/pizza pan in the kitchen and a full length mirror somewhere inside. Thank you for a great stay!

Perfect place!! Location was perfect. Extremely clean.

We had a lot of fun at this property, when we arrived is was very clean and ready to handle the 8 guests. The descriptions and pics were true to the location. Beach access was a breeze and the proxity to the shop was a 5 minute walk.

Overall the property was great. Good location right across from a public beach. One major thing I would for sure change would be curtains on the bedroom windows and the master bath had no privacy. Also, there wasn’t a lot of pantry space because it was taken up by a lot of kitchenware. We had a lot of kids so we had a lot of snacks. There were no shortage of towels and they provided everything we needed from plenty of trash bags, soap, paper towels, sponge, there was even salt, pepper and sugar. There was plenty of room for the kids to play in the house and amble seating. The lock on the front door did go out the second day we were there. We called to have it fixed and it still wasn’t fixed by the time we left 3 days later. Overall we had a great experience and enjoyed our stay!

Unit 1 is a beautifully, remodeled and decorated unit with new everything, basically. Great view of the ocean from balcony and even kitchen, living room, and master bedroom. Tons of room and everything we needed for the kitchen. TVs in every room was a nice surprise. The only downside is, you can hear every step from guests above, especially if there are children who run around. The street got a little too noisy Saturday up to 2-3 am and you can hear everything if you’re in the master bedroom but not the other rooms. Anyway, overall, there was 4 of us and a small dog and we all enjoyed ourselves. We would definitely stay there again if we have the chance.

Made a last minute booking and was very happy with the place. Everything was very clean, and the views were really nice. Despite the construction in the parking lot across the street, we enjoyed the porch area and the beach access was a short distance. The keypad entry was also super convenient. We enjoyed the games and puzzles in the house when it rained. Great stay!
