This is a nice, updated house in a great location close to everything. The overall communication process with the property management company was relatively easy in advance of and during our trip. The house itself is very nice. It's modern, the appliances are high quality, and it really has nice finishings. We loved the fenced yard since we had two dogs with us. We did have to have property management get a pest control company out after check-in, as we killed three spiders within an hour of being there. The upstairs shower only put out freezing cold water, but luckily we could use the downstairs shower during our stay. Property management did offer to send over a handyman, but with COVID, we decided to limit our exposure to another person. My main complaint about the house though is that it really didn't seem clean. I found what appeared to be a puddle of spilled/dried soda in the loft that I had to clean up, and one of the placemats on the kitchen table had dried pasta sauce on it. Behind the futon was also full of debris. Those things made us question in general how clean the house was, and also made us slightly irrigated to be paying a large cleaning fee for an unclean house. Aside from that, we did have a nice stay.

I got a response that turnkey will get back to me. I haven’t heard from them ever. My family just got back from a nightmare stay. The home we rented was freezing for a full 24 hours, with heat running non-stop. Upon arrival, we noticed there was animal hair all over the furniture, bedding, pillows and stairs. There was also dirt and dust all over the entertainment center, table and stair case. We also acknowledged there was a weird rectangular cut in the ceiling but we tried not to think too much about the hole. I text to complain once I finally had a moment and they promised a cleaning lady would arrive at noon the next day. She didnt. We were stuck at the home an entire hour before contacting them again and realizing the cleaning lady wasnt on her way. In this time, we noticed that water dripped from that strange cut out in the ceiling when anyone showered in the upstairs bathroom. They admitted someone "dropped the ball" and didnt fix the water leak the week prior to our arrival and said I needed to make myself available for a handy man to come. One client relations rep said no one would enter the home without our permission and then another told me that they fix what they need to fix and will send someone when they can and I would have to deal with it. I argued that they didnt have my permission to enter the home and luckily was able to speak with another guest relations specialist and they promised that if I didnt use the upstairs bathroom, I could receive a discount on my stay. They then scheduled for cleaning staff to arrive at 6pm, which resulted in another span of wasted time because no one showed up, again! I reached out and nothing was done. Another issue I had was theres a window in the downstairs bathroom that doesnt have a curtain and the places next to the rental can very clearly see you naked inside the shower. I hated that. It was also freezing in that specific bathroom, however, I didnt want to tolerate being flaked on by the handyman or wasting more of my time sitting in the rental when I wanted to play with my kids in the snow. I didnt drive 3 hours to stay in the rental all weekend. Also, I asked for the wifi password and that information was never relayed back to me. I had to fix the upstairs television because the cable wasnt working properly. And lastly, my husband fell down the stairs. The stairs were very slippery. I wish there was a sign up because when my husband slipped his arm got caught in the railing. They basically acted like I was lying but my husband still has visible signs of his injury.

It is unfortunate that the updates don't seem to be cared for by the cleaning service. There is a lot of mildew in the bathroom and tile. There was dust covering the vent hood in the kitchen and crumbs under the couch cushions. I couldn't locate spare linen for the futon, fortunately we did not need it Very nice appliances throughout. I received a text with in 5 minutes of me arriving asking about housekeeping. Initally in that 5 minutes I thought it looked okay until I settled in and started looking around. I had contacted the management company in regards to an issue prior to arrival and they were very responsive and professional. I hope they change their cleaning is unfortunate their updates are not being cared for throughly.

The home is bright and cheery and updated w/ high-end appliances and plumbing fixtures (a big plus if you are an interior designer!) It is a very dog-friendly home w/ a nice fenced yard and within walking distance of the many shops and restaurants at the state line. It was clean upon our arrival - you wouldn't even know that dogs have stayed there in the past. Only a few minor issues: 1) It was very warm the weekend we were there and it was difficult to cool the upstairs enough to sleep comfortably (perhaps an additional fan would help?) 2) The downstairs shower leaked water all over the floor (possibly the shower door seal may need to be replaced?) 3) The instructions on the tablet left at the property said that if there on a trash day you should take the trash cans out to the curb. We were confused by that, as the cans were inside a bear box and it didn't make sense to us to take the cans out of the bear box. We left the cans in the bear box and the garbage company picked up just fine. (The instructions should be updated to avoid confusion in the future.) Overall, we had a really nice stay and would happily stay here again.

We had a great stay in this property. Great location, plenty of space for our family of 3, great amenities, excellent communication. The only downside was the fish odor emanating from the fridge, minor inconvenience for an otherwise fantastic stay.

Enjoyed our stay, location was perfect and easy access to casinos, shops and grocery stores. Took awhile to figure out upstairs shower, too many knobs. Beautiful upgrades to home and backyard nice.

Very comfortable and well maintained. Perfect for a small group with access to everything. Communication from the property manager was excellent - I had no questions at all about finding the house, getting inside - even with a 9:30pm arrival.

The 'master' bedroom is only a double bed and just so small for a couple. Otherwise, really incredible place and would definitely go there again.

Let me just start by saying, my wife is hard to impress - she has really high standards for cleanliness and likes everything new & shiny. Our immediate impression was that this place fit the bill - very modern, recently renovated, extremely tasteful & well done. It is not huge but was the perfect size for our family of four + small dog. The kitchen was modern and had *almost* everything we needed - just missing a wine opener which we quickly remedied. The appliances are all top-notch and the washer/dryer right next to upstairs bedrooms was super convenient & got a lot of use. Bathrooms are spacious and great once we figured out all the various controls. But beyond the cabin itself, there were 3 things that made this property stand out: 1) Location. So close to everything we wanted to do - Gondola, California Lodge of Heavenly, restaurants, shopping, etc. 2) Garage. In the middle of the heaviest snows Tahoe has seen in years, having a garage on the property was an amazing bonus. Made putting on & removing chains a snap, and no need for getting snow or ice off the car. 3) Yard space. Our kids loved having room for snowball fights, and while our dog was not as keen on snow as we'd hoped, it was still great for her to have an enclosed outdoor space where we could let her out & not worry. Finally, also want to mention that the TurnKey folks who manage the property were responsive & professional. Very easy to contact & deal with over our 1 or 2 questions. Would definitely recommend this place & would love to come back again.
