I hate to post this - I want to keep this gem to ourselves! Had a wonderful time at this property. Everything was as described - the house was comfortable, well equipped. Rum point is quiet and out of the way - just the way we like it! Kayaking to the bioluminescent bay is a very special experience.

We highly recommend this condo. Beautiful place, great communication, location & view! This was our families Christmas present to each other & it was amazing. They loved kayaking to starfish point, biking to the coffee shop & playing games on the beach, going to rum point & getting to hold Beau at the Parrot sanctuary. We hope to go back soon!

We cannot say enough about the island of Grand Cayman. It was our first visit but certainly will not be our last!! The stay was awesome from the location of Rum Point to the accommodations within our townhome. We loved the water, kayaks, and beach chairs. During our stay we rented a jeep so we could explore the island. We visited the east side, loved the Crystal Caves and spent a day on 7 Mile beach with the turtles at the sanctuary. The best day was chartering a private boat through Nick’s Charters in order to snorkel and swim with the Stingrays. Our stay and the week was truly a blessing. Thank you!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kai 2 which had the most beautiful sea views and sunsets. The villa was immaculate and was well stocked with everything you would need. We used the BBQ most evenings! The location is quiet and very peaceful with only a few people on the beach each day! The shared swimming pool was great! The management company was very responsive and any little issues we had were resolved straight away! I would thoroughly recommend Kai 2 to anyone looking for a stress free peaceful vacation!

We had a wonderful time visiting Grand Cayman. The Villa was exactly as pictured/described, and we loved having the beach right there. Everything that we needed was at the villa, and the location was very quiet and peaceful. We would love to be able to return. (My only recommendation would be some more comfortable pillows in the master bedroom.)

Very nice two story condo. Had everything we could need. Clean, renovated, decorated nicely. Felt very comfortable. Beautiful sunsets! Good food close by, or just a 10 to 45 minute drive depending on what you have a hankering for. Found out we are Kayakers on this trip, so we spent lots of time out in the bay looking at starfish, lobsters and stingrays.

Absolutely stunning property! We enjoyed our time on the island so much, and the condo was the perfect place for two couples. So close to Starfish Point, Rum Point and Kiabo. While the rest of the island is a bit of a drive we loved every minute of it. Do not be intimidated with driving (talking to fellow American's) other side of the road driving wasn't bad at all and you get use to the roundabouts. Strongly suggest this part of the island if you are looking to kick back and relax. While we did have an unfortunate incident (no fault of Theda or the owners) at the end of the tripTheda and the owners were very attentive and even though we were already gone and home they were very accomidating and followed up immediately.

The location of the condo is wonderful. The quiet and perfectly appointed condo is gorgeous in every way. We absolutely recommend this beach side condo for your next family getaway. We had 6 people total and it was perfect! So clean and sleek decor! Will absolutely be back and 100% be staying HERE!

What a terrific escape from the cold and dreary winter! The property was absolutely wonderful — we enjoyed the huge screened in porch, close proximity to the water, swaying palm trees, and the location to the Kaibo restaurant and dock which was very handy for water excursions. The house itself has everything you need and more including scuba gear, kayaks, and yoga Mats. Kitchen was excellent for making meals, and was well appointed. I appreciated the availability of the extra padding on the beds, which could be easily removed if you wanted a harder bed surface. Hosts were super responsive and helpful. Overall an A+++ property. Highly recommended!! Cant’ wait to come back next year!!

We loved staying on the north side of the island, away from crowds. And it was super convenient to be so close to Kaibo Restaurant. Beach was nice, but little hard packed. Still we enjoyed walking the beach, and playing in the water on kayaks. Water here was not all that clear and had lots of seagrass, but still over all this villa was a great waterfront location. Sunsets were amazing! Only drawback was small handful of restaurants on northside/east end to choose from, and driving back to George Town was long. Work traffic in and around George Town (8am/5pm) was horrible, so if you must go back to town, be sure to avoid those times. Would suggest make plans to dine in most of time if staying at this Villa. Villa itself was comfortable enough for our stay (2 couples), and had everything we needed. Appreciated having the two bikes and two kayaks; we used both several days. Only downside to villa itself was the beds & pillows were super hard, and the living sitting area was pretty sterile (not all that comfy for lounging after dark before bedtime).

This home is no more than 40 yards from the water’s edge, but is so immaculately done that you are equally comfortable inside and outside. Thelda and Gige, the property managers, were very helpful though we didn’t need them for anything. The area is the quiet part of Grand Cayman but there is still plenty to do. Can’t wait to return!

Excellent quiet spot on kaibo

Wonderful property location. Loved using the kayaks and bikes. Coolers for groceries and picnics. Lots of towels for days at the beach. Lovely condo … would definitely rent again!!

What a beautiful property and a wonderful location! Quiet and relaxing exactly what we were looking for. It had everything we needed, kayaks and bikes to use as well. Couldn’t have asked for a better place.

This property was better than we expected. It was clean and had all the amenities we needed. Being able to walk out to the water steps from the house was exactly what we were looking for. Plus it was so quiet, we literally had the beach to ourselves. We rode the bikes that were included to Starfish point and Kaibo restaurant. We loved that we were able to walk across to Kaibo to catch the water taxi to Camana Bay. We will definitley stay here again!

It was a very clean property with a lot of space. It was just me and my husband but the space could easily fit 4 more people. It was very quiet in the neighborhood which made for a very relaxing stay. Part of that may have been due to Rum Point being closed. It was a long drive to many places but we enjoyed the scenery. I would easily return to this place again.

Nice and quiet home in Cayman Kai. Beautifully furnished and many amenities such as fins, kayaks, beach towels, beach chairs for your use. We wish Rum Point had been open but it is under renovation. We had a great time during our week stay. Very responsive to any questions we had. Would highly recommend.

This was our first time to the Caymans and we tried VRBO for the first time for a family vacation this far away (traveling with two teenagers now and need more room). This place did not disappoint! Plenty of space - one bedroom for the teens, one for the parents. Kitchen and eating areas and stocked properly. Kaibo restaurant/bar in a beautiful beachside setting is a very short walk away (not open 7 days a week). The VRBO unit sits right on the beach, which in mid July was almost completely to ourselves. If you're looking to get away from the hustle and bustle, this is it! Very calm and peaceful. Even the ocean is calm (no waves there, so it's almost lagoon like, but you'll see some Starfish and Stingrays from time to time, just at the beach steps away from the VRBO). Sometimes went days and didn't really even see another human. Beach chairs always empty. Rented a car and toured the island or just to go out for dinner (which can be very confusing and often no cell range / no GPS) several different days. Horseback riding on the beach and into the water, and a catamaran tour out to Stingray Island is a must. VRBO is right next to Starfish Point, so you can easily go swim the beaches there and see dozens of Starfish. Most of the activities will require a drive somewhere else on the island, which we were ok with. Rental car is key, as we didn't see many other options. If you're looking for a very peaceful, quiet getaway from the world...this is your place!
