Clean, functional, comfortable and reasonably priced. Well stocked kitchen - bathroom, too, with ample, quality towels and paper products. Three blocks from the event start; less than a mile from its finish. Easy, relaxed walk to downtown, including a good selection of shops and restaurants. Being able to bring his dog along simplified travel plans for our adult son.

Home was very clean and in a very quite neighborhood. Nice large deck and fire pit in yard. Large yard to walk the dogs.

This was one of the worst rentals I've ever been to. There was blood on the comforter. Poop stains on the blinds in the bathroom. The whole place smelled of wet dog. When we wiped so.e water off of the floor the wipe came up black form not being cleaned. Someone tagged one of the ceiling panels in the main bedroom. There were also cobwebsand dust in the corners of the rental as well as the molding. The beds felt like water beds from all the use.

The home was very clean, nice private big lot. We enjoyed our stay at this property, convenient location. Thank you!

This property was a great location for things to do in Boyne, Charlevoix, and Petoskey. Anything you could need was provided to cook in this house which was great. Felt nice and homey, in a great neighborhood where we felt safe and it was very quiet. Used the gas fireplace on the back porch which was a great perk. Great big backyard for our dog that joined. Some bottles/cans/ and dog poop around the perimeter in bushes but it's hard to catch every little thing left by previous guests. Overall a fantastic stay and would come back!

This home was comfortable, roomy and clean. The location is quiet and convenient to drive to Boyne Falls and Charlevoix. It is not within walking distance to downtown for restaurants and shops.

Very nice place to stay

Everything we needed was provided. It was spacious and neat. We were able to walk or ride bikes to the quaint downtown area. There was a deck with a grill and nice outside furniture. We did not use the fire pit but it was avsilsble.

The house is well appointed and maintained. Very clean. It was the perfect set-up for our quick 3 day trip. Close to everything. We even messed up on day when leaving and locked ourselves out and the owners/managers where very quick to respond and got us back in very quickly! Would recommend.

Exactly as described. It’s a small home that was a perfect home base. Well equipped with many items you need to feel at home. Beds comfortable. Could not of been cleaner. Easy access from the road. Boyne City downtown is almost a mile walk, so that’s not an easy walk for everyone. Furniture in living room very comfortable. We loved it!

Nice place in a quiet part of town yet a short walk to the downtown area. Kitchen is very well stocked and functional for cooking meals. Bedrooms are very clean and comfortable. Recliners in the living room is perfect after a long day fishing and the deck as a great place to start your morning with a cup of coffee

Nice location close to town. Clean! Big kitchen and well equipped. Quiet neighborhood with no one really close, so good privacy. The bed I used was comfortable. Air mattress available in laundry room for someone staying and sleeping in the living room.

We rented this place for my son’s weekend lacrosse tournament. It was very comfortable and had everything we needed. It’s an older place but clean and cozy. The location was perfect for what we needed. We would definitely stay here again.

This older home was sparkling clean and well appointed. The kitchen was very well stocked, though we didn't do much other than make toast and coffee. There were a variety of kitchen items you might need, such as cooking oil and coffee. The bathroom has had some remodeling done. It's serviceable but not completely updated. There were plenty of towels, unlike many such places. The shower worked well and the home had plenty of hot water. There was no shower soap so bring your own. The bed we used was a comfortable queen and the bedroom has a useful closet, two dressers and a TV. The living room furniture was very comfortable and I was happily surprised that YouTube TV was set up and worked perfectly for the little we used it. Something to know is that the home does not have central heat. The main living space is heated by a gas-fired heating stove and there are electric floor heaters in both bedrooms. All that equipment worked well and we were only chilly when we first got there. It was our impression that this was an older, low-cost home that had undergone substantial improvements. There were a couple of cosmetic rough edges where I thought, maybe that's next year's project, but none of them affected our stay. The owners don't require much of you on departure, no stripping of beds, but we were asked to carry the trash out to the curb. On this particular trash day, the trash can was full to the brim with someone else's unbagged trash, and our trash didn't even fit in it. That probably won't happen to anyone else, but it was a little gross. It's quite livable, a good size and close to all the Boyne City amenities. We had one small problem with the wifi and the owners got back to us within a couple of hours to help us understand what to do. We would stay there again.

My wife, son and I enjoyed our stay. Very clean and cozy. The backyard was secluded and gave us a chance to hang out and enjoy the beautiful weather. Short walk to downtown Boyne City. We will definitely stay here again. Thanks for the hospitality!

Nice house, well stocked - had everything we needed and then some! This house has a secluded back yard (with a fire pit) that feels like you're in the woods/country, yet it's close to town and centrally located for traveling around northern Michigan. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this property!
