From Check in to check out the process was easy. Great property to bring family to, close to the beach in a very quiet neighborhood. Great time.

Wonderful location and really close to the beach but the house does not have AC and they did not have any fans to help with the heat that gets trapped upstairs. A mini-split would really help with the heat by pulling it out of the house. Shower downstairs did not have any ventilation (gets really damp) so we wanted to shower upstairs but it was too hot. A few fans would solve this since the airflow downstairs in nice. Also outside furniture was not uncovered when we arrived and set-up. Figured it would be since it is advertised in the photos. Also a little weird you have to take your own trash out before you leave and start a load of laundry. Otherwise--would recommend due to location--super close to the beach/dunes.

Such a cute house next to the dunes. The beds were so comfortable and the house is very cozy. The upstairs bedrooms did get a little hot but there was a heat wave happening. The only recommendation I have is the have the outside deck blown off because there was quiet a build up of sand that keeping getting on our kids feet and being tracked inside.

First off - we really enjoyed our stay at this property. There were a few "snags" at the beginning of the stay with the reservation and gaining access, but SEAN from Diggs (management company i believe) was fantastic and helped us get in, get settled and start our vacation (THANK YOU SEAN!). I did try to msg the owner a few times, but never got any response (would suggest communications thru Diggs - which you will get once you book). The property itself - GREAT location, just steps from the beach, and super easy access to Oceano Beach with vehicles or ATV's. The entire family enjoyed the dunes, even local Grover Beach activities and the quiet little area around the house. (If you are Escape Room fans - go see Heather at The Locked Inn - local - great escape room). The patio of the house was AMAZING and where we spent a lot of time. The fire pit does take a little patience and some steps, but read the GUIDE in the house - it outlines it all and works fine. Very nice area to sit and take in sunset or sunrise. The jacuzzi tub was also a welcome amenity after getting beat up out on the dunes all day - and a great place to relax. The TVs are a little tricky, since we have older kids we had an XBOX which allowed us to access any of our accounts etc. The beds - VERY comfortable and the rooms are very comfortable and nicely appointed. The kitchen is beautiful and nice new appliances. The neighbors that we ran in to were all also very nice (sometimes they don't like VRBO folks - but, this neighborhood was super friendly). All in all - this was one of my favorite locations and stays at VRBO. The overall rating would easily be a 5 (if not a 6) if it were not just for the communication at the onset - but, again - use Diggs and that should be fine. You will enjoy this location and house - and patio! Thanks again SEAN/Diggs - appreciate you making this trip work out well for us!

The property is beautiful. However we could not get the fireplace inside or the fire pit outside to work. I messaged the property manager and never heard back. The coffee pot does not match the coffee maker and spilled everywhere. We could not get Netflix or Amazon Prime to work on the TVs. We did not bring our Roku. The sliding glass door is almost too hard to slide open and closed. The hot tub must have a leak because there was water that was coming down the patio and the level kept getting lower in the tub. Finally, we were told to start a load of towels before we left but there was no laundry detergent. These are all minor. The home is totally renovated and very comfortable otherwise.

My friends and family had a great time staying at this Oceano property over the 4th of July weekend! We packed 4 adults and 3 young kids which worked fine for us. The property was super clean with updated decor, good quality linens and towels and fun beach themed touches around the house. The kitchen is fully stocked with nice quality appliances and we used it multiple times a day. The location worked for us since we enjoyed taking the kids out to the dunes in the morning (very peaceful and just a walk across the street). The property is also only a short drive to Pismo and Avila beaches which are better for laying out and going in the water. Another plus is the beds are super comfortable. We slept great. The deck is very nice too but a bit too windy and sandy to be outside at certain times of the day. That might be a seasonal thing. We did use the hot tub a couple of times. Also, the air conditioning works great on the first floor but the second floor did not seem to have vents. That’s only a problem if you have young kids and can’t open windows and doors. Otherwise, might be totally fine, especially since the area usually doesn’t get hot. It happened to be a clear, warm and sunny weekend for us which made for a great trip! Overall we all loved our stay at this Oceano property. The property manager was also very easy to get a hold of and quick to respond when I had a question.
