Everything, great location , lovely large bright rooms , great layout with open courtyards and sunny 🌞 spots . Breakfast and service from Dacia and her mum Desiree were second to none

A gem of a hotel. Right in the heart of bohemian Rio- Santa Teresa is in the top ten places to visit in the lonely planet guide to Rio. Dacia was a wonderful host; friendly and incredibly helpful. She made the trip for us. The breakfasts are healthy and fulfilling all made from scratch by Desiree the hosts mother.

The host and her whole family are super friendly and helpful. My stay at this hotel couldn't have been any better. I loved the art and all the details. And of course the amazing rooftop terrace with pool. The rich and always changing breakfast, freshly made by the host's mom is so delicious. If you're looking for a quiet place to stay in the middle of three craziness and the business of Rio de Janeiro - look no further!

The - really - only thing I didn't like that much was the fact that sometimes it was not easy to find an Uber to get me back to the hotel. Usually in the night and when it's been raining as the hotel is located quite high and the streets are very steep. A taxi is always a very good option then.

Die Lage im Künstlerviertel Santa Teresa, abseits der grossen Hotels und die familiäre Atmosphäre. Dacia ist eine außerordentlich liebenswerte Person und hat uns bei allen Anliegen weitergeholfen. Als die Wasserzufuhr einmal unterbrochen wurde hat sie alles darangesetzt das,Problem schnell zu lösen.

Es war manchmal etwas schwierig ein Taxi/ Uber zu bekommen, da einige Fahrer nicht gerne hochfahren.

L’accueil et les renseignements fournis pour nos visites par Dacia étaient parfait ! Le petit déjeuner préparé maison était aussi excellent et varié. Une belle étape et une belle rencontre pour terminer notre voyage au Brésil !

Pas de transport public à proximité mais les déplacements en Uber fonctionnent très bien.

We honestly lovely everything. The rooms were clean and spacious and the whole place was quiet and chilled. Dacia was an incredible host, she made us feel so welcome and helped us with anything we needed. The breakfast was genuinely amazing, and we found ourselves looking forward to our breakfast more than we did eating out in Rio! Initially we were skeptical as there are so many 5 star reviews, and we were also unsure on the area. But upon staying here we had nothing to be concerned about; the excellent reviews are beyond justified and I’m actually really glad we stayed in Santa Teresa as it was such a nice area, quieter and cleaner than the downtown areas, with a quirky vibe that was really nice to be in. It wasn’t too much hassle to get from the apartment to downtown either - a short walk and a train or an Uber straight to wherever you need to go. I genuinely can’t recommend this place enough!

CasaJOMO is in a great location in Santa Teresa on a quiet street. Very spacious clean room with three massive comfortable beds and a bathroom with a bath and large shower. Would be great for a family. Very clean and nice shampoos/soaps. Breakfast was delicious! We got a choice which was served plated to our table, pancakes, which was a nice break from the buffet style we'd come to expect in Brazil. We had dinner in the b&b which was a selection of very flavoursome salads, bean salads and BBQ'd veg and meats. Amazing outdoor rooftop space for breakfast and drinks at night, overlooking Santa Teresa. Thank you for hosting us :)
