We love to ski Keystone and wanted a quick 2 night stay with easy access to the Peru lift and the area around it. This condo was right off the silver bus route with easy access going to the mountain and back. We had 6 people in this condo, and while snug, we had everything we needed. An extra fitted sheet for the futon would have been nice - just another layer to keep washing easier, you know? The other reviews on here that said the master bedroom had a cigarette smoke smell to it were not wrong. I was hoping it was just a thing and by the time we reserved it, it would have been gone. Nope. It wasn't a strong smell, but super noticeable if you left the room and came back. An air freshner would make a huge difference!! The view of the lake & mountains were awesome and the pool access was a great bonus for my younger kids! They LOVED it and asked if we could come back, just for the pool! 😉 Thank you for an amazing deal for 6 (!) and a fun quick getaway over our Spring Break!

This property is very cozy. Very close to ski resorts. The view was amazing. My only suggestion would be to have a bench by the front door to sit down so you could take off your shoes.

Overall, I don’t know if I’d stay here again since the paperwork and packet pickup was total overkill but it did fit our needs for a local overnight stay that didn’t break the bank.

They instruct us that WE have to drive about 5 min down road in 10degree weather and get new sheets from their locker at their office. They eventually find a maintenance man to drop off sheets. They claim this has rectified the situation. -1045pm my husband and I find ourselves having to pull off used sheets with previous guests' hairs and make the beds ourselves with new sheets.-pullout futon with large amount of food and crumbs when opened. -SUMMIT COUNTY MOUNTAIN RETREATS apologizes for the sheets the next day via email. They offer to refund only our cleaning fee (and repeatedly tell me the issue is rectified) ONLY if we sign a "guest inconvenience form". Form states they will refund cleaning ONLY if we agree to NOT leave any negative reviews about our stay or their management. -per management email, “ In order to receive the refund you are required to fill out the Guest Inconvenience Form. If you are unwilling to move forward with signing this document we will not be able to move forward with the refund”-I inform them that I will not sign the form as this feels ethically wrong and possib

The property itself was in a nice location. The property managers I will not rent from ever again. We discovered the sheets to the master bedroom and pullout couch were FILTHY- and obviously previously slept in. We counted at least 20 long hairs, short hairs on the pillows, PUBIC hairs on both beds. The mattress cover of the pullout with pubic hairs and black spots that looked like bug droppings. Hair in the fridge/butter substance on shelf. Pullout futon full of food and crumbs after opened. The heater cover was falling off. For a condo for six people for two days, the management company offered one tube of shampoo which was 1 oz of shampoo (their response was that 1oz of shampoo for six people for two days is "standard"). We called around 1015pm as we discovered the FILTHY sheets and beds- we were told we had to drive to their main office (about 5 min from the condo) in 10 degree weather and get new sheets ourselves from one of their lockers. Eventually able to find maintenance to drop off new sheets, so my husband and I found ourselves pulling off used sheets with SO.MANY.HAIRS at 1045pm, and making our own beds in the condo (and I just cannot unsee the stains on the master bed mattress). We asked for a refund of one night, they refused over three emails (never called us as we asked) and gave us a refund for the cleaning fee and inspection fee only. So many other options in Keystone, stay AWAY from Summit County Mtn Retreats. Many past issues with them previously

We spent two nights here and couldn't have loved it more. Located right on the lakeside with shops and restaurants within a block's walk as well as the shuttle pickup to go to the base. The pool house was absolutely perfect and warm. Love love love!

Lake view and access to trails

The property was great and the utensils and amenities were wonderful. The only issues was the stale smell of cigarettes and a front porch that needed swept before arrival. The property was wonderful

There’s a lot to love about about this place. There were also a few items that really brought the experience down. Pros: Excellent Location- It was easy to walk to the adventure center, restaurants, playground, and pool. The view out the back windows was stunning. The place was well stocked with home items. Comfortable sleeping and lounging areas. Responsive customer service (more on that in a moment) Cons: There is a definite smoky funk that permeates the whole apartment, especially the bedroom. In two days of staying there, it clung to our clothes and hair. Accessing the pool was a nightmare. What I heard from other folks staying there was that the door has been broken for a few days. The apartment’s management was responsive to my calls (much appreciated!) but clearly there is some communication breakdown between the various property companies. We did get to swim, but only because we lucked out on sneaking in with other people. I’d like to think that our journey was the exception, not the rule. There’s a lot of potential to have a great vacation here, we just didn’t to experience it.

Everything was as listed. Ours was a 1 bedroom but this is a great location for families.

Our stay was very relaxing and pleasant. Would definitely stay again. Only issues - There was no hand soap, and the keycard did not work for opening the pool or the trash area (we tried both sides of keycard). Other than that, everything was smooth

Excellent condo, brightly decorated and clean. The location could not be better! Communication with management company was easy and they were very fast to respond. My only recommendation would be to get a new couch as this one is very soft and somewhat uncomfortable. Would definitely return!

Great location. Comfy bed and pillows. The sofa turns into a bed too. But didn’t have proper linen, so we used two flat sheets that were there. The white lounger couch looks cute in the photos and is dirty IRL, bring an extra blanket to cover it if you plan on sleeping on it. The kitchen was clean, utensils kinda limited, but you make due. The views and accessibility to our car was PERFECT. We couldn’t figure out how to get into the pool building using all the keys/fobs available to us in the room. It was our last night when we tried to use it so didn’t have time on our side to reach out to management to help us. Otherwise they were super responsive when one of the humidifiers and coffee maker didn’t work, replaced them with news ones/ same day response. So that was clutch. Overall our family loved our stay there.

Shuttle is only 100ft from the condo so that was great but be careful when you leave the mountain. The silver line does not come to the normal mountain base. You have to come down by Peru Express to get on the silver line. Otherwise the red line takes much longer and drops off a bit further away. Biggest annoyance was the guest book. I couldnt find the address in any of the emails or check in info. I had to go on the guest book. We didnt have great service so this was frustrating. Additionally the check out info should have had more details. Did we need to remove new food? It said to drop keys in lockbox if applicable so I went and put the keycards back in the lock box but I dont think that was the right thing to do. Other than that the place is great. View is beautiful and the kitchen is functional. Sleeper sofa is decent but really loud. The fact that this is on the first floor is amazing for skiing. All around great just send the address in an email and add better instructions for check out.

Felt the kitchen could have been stocked a little more, but we made it all work for the little bit of cooking we did. Location was good and easy to get in and out of. Check in and check out was easy as well. Only negative was house keeping. Once we got to the unit sheets and bedding were covered in hair. It was 4am when we got to the property, we were so tired we just dealt with it. There also wasn’t enough sheets to use the pullout couch as well as the day bed at the same time. We made it work with blankets. Good unit but feel housekeeping didn’t do a great job on bedding cleanliness.

First of all, I attended a conference at the Keystone Conference Center - my walk was short and involves walking under a tunnel. Secondly, my baby came along to Keystone (still breastfeeding) - I had everything I needed to make him comfortable - there were extra fleece blankets, soft pillows, a big space to put his playpen, a kitchen to prepare baby-related things, etc. Additionally, his caretaker (grandma) had to be with baby all day - she had a nice view and can take the stroller outside for a walk easily as the condo is on ground floor. The management staff are friendly, supportive, professional. accommodating and fulfilled our needs in a timely manner. I highly recommend this unit!

There were only two issues. 1.u family and I were locked out twice because the locks were malfunctioning. 2.The first time customer service was top notch with a lady that opened the door for us immediately. The second time we were locked the customer service of a guy called Brandon was good and got resolution by calling maintenance to replace the lock. By phone Brandon was polite but in person he was very different, definitely rude since there was no monitoring there. Other than that, excellent stay!

The floor was dirty. My feet were black after walking barefoot Lipstick on glasses, dog hair and black flakes in the sheets. There was a karate tournament this weekend and woke up both mornings at 7am to 30 kids outside yelling Very loud area and busy foot traffic Not relaxing at all

Had a great stay and hope to return next year!
