Our family- myself, husband, daughter/son in law, son/daughter in law- 3 grand children 15, 10 and 3.
Great sleeping arrangements for all. The house was very clean and stocked with pretty much everything you need. We did bring our own TP because there were 9 of us. The only thing missing was one extra bathroom when other two were in use. We stayed for 6 nights. We explored the area waterfalls and hiking, the breweries, downtown shops and also rode horses. Highly recommend triple falls hike and swimming at hooker falls. The host was very responsive and contacted me to let me know the door lock batteries had died and gave me alternate instructions on getting into the house. We saw the infamous white squirrels. We were skeptical but found them at the Brevard college campus not far from the house. We made great memories together as a family! The house across the street was a little sketchy looking but seemed to be vacant. I walked the surrounding neighborhoods and felt very comfortable doing so. Overall I would Give this experience a 5 out of 5 stars.

Great location. Quick drive to downtown Brevard. Quick drive to a lot of great outdoor activities. House very well equipped, nicely upgraded, setup well for large group. Highly recommended!

The property was excellent. Exactly as portrayed in photos. Amenities were great. Instructions were clear. Local coffee bonus was so good. We were there during a heavy rain and spotted a leak but they were so easy to get in touch with and the communication was awesome. Location is great to be near Asheville but also enjoy all the things Transylvania County has to offer! Very close to a golf simulator my husband was sure to take advantage of . We would absolutely stay again with friends or family. The spaces are private enough to get away if you need to.

The house was very clean, and included all the amenities mentioned in the listing. We even saw a white squirrel while sitting in the backyard! My kid loved the game room and having the whole bottom floor. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of towels.
The house is very convenient to Aldi, Walgreens, restaurants, and the Pisgah National Forest.
We loved our stay so much, and didn't want to leave.

Loved it. Location is perfect - we could grab coffee and head to looking glass falls to drink it in the morning. A storm took the WIFI out (ended up being a blessing in disguise) and the host was top notch with communication. The house was very clean and the amenities made this a place we will revisit.

We had age ranges from 22 to 82 staying in the house, and it worked for everyone. The house was very clean and comfortable, with great proximity to downtown Brevard, which is lovely. We enjoyed our stay!

We had a great stay! House is as advertised, plenty of room for everyone. Well stocked, comfortable beds. Great game room, bike racks inside for all the cyclist visiting the area. Only one small issue with the front door keypad but was resolved quickly. We would differently stay here again if available.

The owner has really thought things through and try to make things comfortable for you. The basement is a perfect place for the kids to hang out and upstairs plenty of room for the grown-ups to hang out. We really enjoyed our time.

This is our second time staying at this property. We love Brevard and this house is perfectly equipped and located for our adventures. We have been coming up to Western NC for about 3 years now and this last visit is the first time we were able to see a white squirrel, two actually! It was right across the street! We thought it was a myth at first, just photographed by pros, but no we saw one several days in a row.
Although it rained on our trip we normally love to grill, and we would have if weather had permitted. There were marshmallow sticks in the drawer and even a new pack of firewood outside for us to use at our discretion. The owners are so thoughtful and dedicated to making sure the property meets the needs of their guests. Thanks again, can't wait to book the third stay!

The property was okay. Be very careful with your children near the front driveway, because there are some vehicles regularly going 50-60 mph blowing past the home. The home is very close to the road on a small piece of land.
The other main problem is the entry way door windows are very large and not covered with a blind of any kind, allowing anyone driving down the road, walking by, or living across the street to see completely into the residence. In fact, one of the bedrooms bed is completely visible through the huge entryway windows, allowing people to see you laying in bed at night and this was inappropriate for my children and wife.
The home is centrally located in Brevard, allowing quick access to local stores.

The Shealy’s home was perfect for our family weekend getaway. It is beautiful decorated, conveniently located in Brevard, short drive to downtown and attractions. Great downstairs for kids and family entertainment. Quiet neighborhood and home was big enough for large families. The home was immaculate and it provided all the basic amenities. Fenced backyard is great for grilling, and watching the stars by the fire pit with a glass of wine. Highly recommended!

We had two families staying for the weekend as we were picking our kids up from The Wilds camp early Saturday morning. It was the perfect location for us. I can’t say enough good things about the house. Everything was thought of for us. From the soap and shampoo/conditioner dispensers in the showers to the grill tools for the grill. There is plenty of space for a group to spread out with a large sectional couch upstairs, picnic tables, and chairs around a fire pit to the downstairs areas with an awesome play room for the kids and a high table and barstools as well as another patio area and some chairs down there too! We all loved learning how to play indoor shuffleboard and the kids loved the downstairs area where they could play pool, shuffleboard, etc. The location was extremely convenient to restaurants and the grocery store, yet tucked away to provide the perfect peaceful stay. We would highly recommend this place and the owners who did a wonderful job of making us feel welcome! We look forward to staying here again the next time we visit Brevard!

Great family getaway!
This house is clean, thoughtfully furnished and equipped to provide a great getaway rain or shine. From the complimentary local coffee, to the bike access door and hooks, to the game room, it’s evident the hostess Alison was intentional about creating a space friends and families could feel right at home and have all their needs anticipated. The location can’t be beat (our favorite adventure was swimming under Hooker Falls), and our kids were so excited when they walked in the door and saw the pool table and shuffle board. We hope to visit again!

The downstairs cave was perfect to play some pool with my boys and have a blast. The full kitchen was stocked perfectly for what we needed to "cook-in" and save some money on the trip to spend on other necessities like toys from Good Ol' O.P. Taylors😅 It is the perfect distance to several of the National Forests like Pisgah and Dupont and many of the beautiful waterfalls like Looking Glass and of course to the Blue Ridge Parkway. Even has a Bike rack for the cyclists in the family who wants ride the "Assault on the Pisgah"!
We've stayed in several cabins and homes in the mountains and I HIGHLY recommend this place and look forward to being able to bring more family up here for a bigger get-together!

This place exceeded our expectations in all categories!
