The cottage is lovely, the TV and the heating were great in the terrible weather we had! Plenty of tea/coffee/sugar/loo roll 😀

The rattan furniture in the yard was very dated and sagged in the middle so unable to sit upright for long. The furniture in the lounge very low, so people with knee issues will find it difficult to stand up. The stairs are very steep with only 1 handrail which I found a challenge never mind my 85yr old mum, and no hand rail at the top, so the last step up mum had to balance to get up. No door from bedrooms to the top of the stairs, was in fear of falling down in the night. Couldn't lock the kitchen door, and when I mentioned this, was told I had to lift up the door as well as the handle.

Great place to stay. Comfortable, clean, well equipped. Well placed in the picturesque village of Giggleswick with pub (great food) opposite and within easy walking distance of Settle.

Lovely place in the center of Giggleswick. The property was clean and well stocked and had everything we needed including tea, coffee and those little pots of UHT milk so it was possible to have a brew before the obligatory Booths shop! There was a well put together information book that gave instructions on how to use the cottage (heating/oven etc) and also had information on local pubs, restaurants and takeaways.

Spacious bedrooms and you can opt for twin beds in two of the rooms. Lounge comfortable for 6 adults. Excellent location opposite beautiful church and Black Horse pub where we had a great meal. Close to Settle, river, pool etc. Courtyard comfortable and neighbours friendly.

Kitchen a bit cramped to prepare food for six.

The location was ideal for the walking/sightseeing we wanted to do. The property was cosy to come back to with a big Christmas tree in the corner. The kitchen was well equipped and modern, enabling me to cook a full meal every night. The stairs are very steep without any rails on one side. Although this didn’t bother us, it might not be suitable for young children or people with mobility issues. The lovely little village has a pub almost opposite the property, we didn’t use it so can’t comment on food/drink. We didn’t use the outdoor area, but not sure if it’s shared? On road parking, but managed to find a space just down the road from the cottage. A really nice break just before Christmas.

Excellent location, only a short walk to Settle. Quiet although central. Probably a little small for six people unless including children or close family, but there was only two of us, so fine. We had no problem parking on the street relatively close to the property, may be it would be further away at peak season but possible to stop almost outside to load/unload. Lots of good information, guides etc provided. Some very good walks for all abilities in the area.

Very big comfy bed. Good modern TV. Walking distance to Settle and local pubs, shops etc.

Lovely Property in a Great location with 10-15min walk into Settle. The dining area is small (especially if you had 6 people) but as there were only 3 of us and we generally ate out, it was not a problem for us :-)

The lovely location and every decoration is very chic and nice. The preparation for children bedding is impressive.
