Everything! A beautiful hidden gem in the Spanish countryside

There was nothing we didn’t like. We hope to stay again in the future.

Lovely rural hotel, great for a night away out of the city and out of the heat. Beautiful big spaces. The communal kitchen was a huge bonus. It was nice not to pay extra for the dog too. The spaces are very impressive, beautifully furnished, all feels luxury and grand.

The promised food option (restaurant next door) was closed for the weekend. We checked before we booked whether we would be able to eat when we got there and were assured it would be no problem. We never found out where the towels for the pool were - we had to use the ones for our room (no robes or anything provided) and we asked at least 3 times. It might have been nice if they pushed the beds together for us since we had booked a double but were given a twin.

The place is very relaxing. Besides the rooms, guests can enjoy the common areas from this tastfully renovated Manor. It is possible to Cook and grill on site. The nearest Supermarket is just 10 mins drive.

In summer, the rooms get bit hot. Some airconditioning for the hot days would make a big difference.

Bartró de Orfans has an excellent location. Beautiful house with al lot of chambers. The breakfast area is in different rooms, so even during breakfast a little privacy is possible. The breakfast is versatile and enough, fruit, cheeses, meats, tea, coffee, milk. The reception is extremely friendly and professional. The interior is designed by the owner herself and is fantastic.

It's a beautiful old building, so the door openings are a bit low. Watch your head!

Lovely mansion in tiny village near Palafrugell - small and very personable setting with a few rooms and plenty corners to relax (pool, garden, library, sizeable hallway with coffee & tea) Host Carlos was warm and hospitable

it is in a tiny village (with a restaurant who can bring food to the mansion). the village is very remote which is wonderful for walks etc, but you have to like that there is no hustle bustle
