First off, having garage access to a large three car garage was great and the driveway wasn't steep like lots of mountain properties. Nicely lanscaped front and back. The house was very clean with large living spaces including the spacious outdoor deck. Nice newer roomy hot tub. Large clean kitchen with both an island and peninsula. Good water pressure and roomy showers. Comfortable beds. Well appointed house throughout with all the modern amenities you'd expect at a higher end rental. Our family loved our stay and will be back in the future!

This was the first time we have ever used VRBO. What an awesome experience. Our host in Arnold was amazing. He was very communicative and answered all my questions. He made sure that the heater was on before our arrival as well as shoveled the snow off the driveway for us. He even texted me shortly after our arrival to see if there was anything we needed. The house was immaculate and a premier location. The house was well equipped and my grandchildren loved their own space in the game room! The house was cozy and has a huge deck overlooking the forest with no other houses in sight. I really cannot say enough about this house and the impeccable service provided. I highly recommend this house, You won’t be disappointed!!

This was our second stay at James' cabin. We had a wonderful stay and the cabin was very clean. We baked a turkey for our Thanksgiving dinner and the double stoves worked perfectly. We really enjoyed the outdoor fire pit on the porch that is only available during the winter months and there was plenty of firewood available. There was some snow at the cabin, but we also went up to Big Trees and there was a lot more snow up there. We are looking forward to returning to this cabin next summer.

This house has it ALL! The hosts have thought of all the important and meaningful details, making for an extremely comfortable and relaxing stay. The house itself is beautiful with breathtaking views from both the home and the expansive deck. This is honestly the most comfortable, clean, roomy, beautiful home we've rented, and we are already planning our return. Bonus: Easy access driveway with level entry and garage parking!

The house is beautiful and well kept. It was just our family of four staying there, but after one day, we decided we need to go back and bring more family because the house can totally accommodate at least two families comfortably. The owner, James, was incredibly thoughtful and turned the A/C on before we headed up there- nice touch! Everything is automated and updated. The place felt like home, but the best version of home. Loved everything about the house and appreciated the care James placed in making sure our stay was enjoyable, safe, and comfortable. Definitely five stars (if not more), and we will be going back for sure!

5 friends from High School met up for a relaxing weekend. We loved the rental, the house was beautiful and very well appointed. We would definitely rent this house again.

The Arnold/Murphy’s area has been a favorite destination for our family for many years. We absolutely loved this home! The home is very comfortable, inviting, and private. It is impeccably clean, spacious and there are so many great amenities. The owners have the home nicely decorated making it feel very homey. The kitchen is well equipped (we especially loved the built-in oven which worked perfectly even at Arnold’s higher elevation). The kitchen has lots of countertop space for preparing meals and two large dining table areas each of which easily accommodated our family of 6 adults and 2 toddlers. There are plenty of supplied towels/linens/bedding and the home has a large washer/dryer conveniently located on the first floor if needed. The downstairs family room was spacious with plenty of seating and the furniture is thoughtfully laid out (we especially loved the comfy two-person chair). There are multiple large screen TVs and high-speed internet. Having A/C on both floors was nice since this was summer-time trip and temperatures got into the 90s a few days. There is also a powered awning over the family room windows to provide extra shade. An added bonus is an additional family area on the second floor that has a coffee maker, under cabinet refrigerator, desk, and seating. We also loved that the home has three spacious bedrooms each with king size beds (and ceiling fans) and a separate children’s bedroom on the first floor with a trundle and large crib. We had plenty of hot water and the sink/bath faucets worked well to control the temperature setting. The deck area (all composite material) is huge with lots of seating (both lounge and chair), a BBQ grill, a screened-in eating area, a large wood-beam covered area, outside heaters if needed, and a portable spa. We enjoyed sitting outside on the deck to enjoy the views of the trees (the home backs up to the National Forest) and especially the home’s very nice backyard landscaping. During our stay we saw a deer, squirrels, and birds in the backyard. The driveway has a slight downward slope and the home has a three-car garage (with two available for inside parking). The host, James, was very responsive and helpful. Thank you for letting us enjoy your home … we highly recommend this home and would love to come back! ☺️
