On our way to Saratoga, Wyoming, we ran into a family emergency. A member of our family was diagnosed with a very serious illness as a result of a very long trip to the ER. Even though the Sage has posted that they have a no refund policy, I called them to explain our extenuating circumstances, and that my husband and I had to stay in Rock Springs to support his mom, they were super kind about it and canceled my reservation.

Very outdated room, stained carpet, old everything, not the photo I saw when I booked. No inside lock on the door! No bars/any security on ground level windows. No staff onsite (doors have a lock code to enter room). Two tiny beds, one of which was totally lopsided so much so you couldn’t sleep on it. Cannot believe I paid $95 for this. Tiniest room I’ve ever been in. Very noisy — next to two gas stations, another person in parking lot played music loud all night. Shower constantly running. Whole room smelled like damp bathroom/mildew. Awful.

Everything! I especially loved the hot shower after a long hot buggy sunscreeny day!

There was no breakfast. Amenities were minimal.

A feeling of a presence of a manager in case something was needed would have been reassuring and most welcome.

Easy to check in and out. Great location.
