Great location very quiet and tranquil, great restaurant and really enjoyed the food including breakfast.

although recently modernised, the gate and outside menu gave an impression of shabbiness which did not represent the inside which was lovely

Nice location, near sea and beach. Very friendly owner, good breakfast and accommodating service.

Authentic traditional Normandy old building, beautifully restored. Lovely gardens and grounds. Well located base to discovery the area. Private parking across the street. Only ate in the restaurant once, we arrived late after 21h yet they were very accommodating and served us a very nice dinner, which was reasonably priced. Nice modern bathroom with shower.

Lack of light in our room. A double room with 2 single beds each one with little bedside shelf but only one bedside lamp. The lack of sockets but I had read reviews, so took my own multi adapter. No tea/coffee making facilities but as we were staying 5 days and knew from the reviews, so I took my own kettle and mugs etc. It is nice to be able to have a cup of tea first thing in the morning or in the afternoon after sightseeing.

We loved everything about our stay at the Auberge de la Luzerne ! The exceptionally friendly staff; the good value for quality, homemade food; comfortable clean rooms; good selection at breakfast; garden; indoor heated swimming pool and outdoor terrace areas; onsite parking; calm environment; short walk to the beach....and we hope to come back soon!

The owner was super friendly and also very flexible to help out. The hotel was very clean and we felt at home instantly. Also the restaurant served delicious food! Good location to visit major sights in normandy.

The garden was beautiful but there were only seats on the terrace which were in the sun in the morning (Nice for breakfast). So just a small suggestion for the host to place a nice bench in the grass for people to enjoy the beautiful garden. :)
