Everything was excellent, except for the housekeeping portion. We ere not advised that rooms, according to the housekeeper, were done every other and we had to request the service.

I am a Hilton member and I was put in a first level room with a few of a truck and car in my window. Room was nice but heard water running in the walls. Paid top dollar. Hotel.com has done this to me before. The worst rooms for the most $$. Disappointed in both Hotel.com and Hilton to put me and my husband in the lowest level of accommodations

Hotel was nice but pricey ($526 for 2 nights). Rooms were clean (but bathroom smelled slightly of sewage). Parking is not the greatest. Quiet property.

The room, breakfast, and staff were excellent but the parking was problematic in that there simply wasn't enough. The towns of Houghton and Hancock were interesting and the mining history of the area was fascinating.
Napoleon at the front desk was accommodating and thoughtful even when he was the only person at the desk on a very busy weekend. 10 stars for him!!

BEWARE!!
I was in the area for business. A change in plans forced me to cancel my reservation a few days after I made the reservation (through Expedia) and many days prior to my anticipated stay. I was informed that the reservation had been cancelled and had a confirmation from Expedia.
On the day of my cancelled reservation I get a notice from Expedia asking me about my stay. I called to discover that the reservation had in fact not been cancelled. Expedia informed me that there was no evidence of the cancellation and that I would be responsible for the full amount of the reservation (4 days).
I was further informed by Expedia that the property manager would not consider either a refund or a date change!
Do not stay here! These people do not appear to be honest and they certainly do not care about their guests.

Great place to stay! Clean and had enough towels. Decor is modern. Walking distance to numerous dinner options. There is a pool and a restaurant of sorts in the hotel. Breakfast is provided. Mattress wasn’t the greatest and the room needs blackout curtains. Katherine at the front desk was helpful and kind. I’d stay here again!

Very friendly staff. Both the front desk and the breakfast staff were very nice. Hotel looked like it had been recently renovated. Very clean. We had a very enjoyable stay.

We had a very nice time at Houghton Hampton Inn. It was friendly, clean and a nice breakfast. One thing I do want to mention which was so heartwarming. After checking out of the hotel we started loading up the car with all of our stuff. I received a call from the front desk before we had even gotten out of the parking lot. I believe it was Melissa at the front desk. She said that the staff had discovered my jewelry still in the room. This was a wonderful thing to do, since it was family items and my wedding ring. Thank you so much for our wonderful stay and for preventing a possible personal loss.
