Hotel was good and luxary. Parking was $43 extra. Breakfast is extra charge for hotels.com bookings and free for bookings.com customers.

Beds were very uncomfortable. I requested a comforter and was brought a thin blanket that almost felt like a piece of foam. Jamie, from the restaurant located in the hotel was the best part of the trip. Her customer service, friendliness and her beautiful smile was wonderful! They tacked on a $75/night deposit, that we were not informed about and are still waiting for the refund.

While the room was nice and the hotel and staff lovely, the frig in room froze my water and fruit. I also could not adjust the air or heat.

Other than a fridge that sounded like Darth Vader, and a couple small roaches joining me for bed and a shower, and the extremely loud cleaning staff in the hall. It was fine. Great breakfast.

The entire 3rd floor of this hotel has a very bad oder. Smells bad. Nauseating

Parking is expensive. Staff was great. The manager helped our family with an unexpected issue in a way that he did not have to and we were so appreciative for being treated kindly and with respect. Our daughter goes to Irvine so we will stay here many times again.

LOVED my stay. Was in California for business and decided to extend my trip and stay at this hotel in Newport Beach. The inside is beautiful - very clean - updated ! The staff was wonderful especially Alfred - he went above and beyond to ensure my stay was great !!

From the time the hotel was built 40 years ago as Le Meridien, and through each subsequent manager--Sutton Place, Fairmount, now Renaissance--the HVAC units in guest rooms have operated noisily. Despite an extensive refurbishment, including replacing bathtubs with walk-in showers, the HVAC units still do NOT work silently or even properly.

This place is beautiful! I didn't like the fact that they charge almost $15 per day for WiFi, and $43 per day for parking. My room door had to be pulled tight to lock and every day housekeeping left my door unlocked. The bathroom fan didn't work. When I checked in, they didnt tell me i could use my room key to open the garage lift gate- so I only allowed myself to venture out once per day to ensure not to rack up more charges. Every time I drove my car out of the garage, I had to pay $43. Then the hotel charged my card $43 per day for parking when i checked out. They reversed the charge when I went and told them I had been paying the garage directly, and informed me I should have been using my room key for the parking garage. No one told me and its not written anywhere! This caused me to miss out on a lot of activities and this changed my plans.

Avoid this hotel if you can. You can hear every single thing. I had someone above me stomping at 1-3AM and I was not able to sleep either night because I could hear everything.

I had a really bad experience, poor property conditions plus parking with excessively expensive. Use their parking structure for one day and they charge me for three very unhappy with this property. I don’t think I wouldn’t use this hotel property in the future.
