Great place to stay!

Corner wall had many cob webs

We loved the Pool area. It was very clean and spacious.

The stay was outstanding. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was plentiful, hot and welcoming. As good as my mother would have made. The pool and hot tub were absolutely decadent. Always clean and plenty of towels available.

The bathroom has mold coming through the drywall, the bathrooms haven’t been updated since it was opened. The free breakfast is pretty bad as well. The pool and hot tub were nice. However, the pool area needs a clock and someone to spray defoamer in the hot tub on some days. Front desk was super nice. Rooms were ok besides mold and bathrooms.

The tub was very dirty so we had to clean it to stay there. This is our first time that this has happened and was our third time staying there. We like the area

Nice variety for breakfast.

I was so impressed with the breakfasts. It was like what you’d experience in Europe. Fresh and plentiful.

Not a safe area. Property very old. Beds very poor quality. Room very smelly. Hotel only reachable by difficult back roads

Nice place

Overall the room was ok. We were only stopping overnight. However, the pillows were abysmal, 1/2 the size of normal pillows and completely flat. There was enough hair in the shower to cause me to wash the shower before I washed myself.

Clean is pretty bad I find that bedbugs was terrible night I can sleep because I have one child .

We enjoyed our stay and would stay again. The bathrooms could use some updating but overall it was clean, comfortable, and staff was friendly and helpful. Pool area and breakfast was especially nice!

The rooms were clean, comfortable beds and great breakfast options

Our room smelled like cigarettes. The room and furniture were run down and badly in need of a renovation. I would not recommend anyone to stay here.

Staff was working on keeping the facility look fresh and comfortable. Breakfast was good and adequate. Need more toasters to accommodate larger groups at the same time.

It is a great hotel. It may have been recently updated. It looks new and clean. The staff is friendly and it is close to all the amenities in Baraboo. Highly recommended staying at this hotel.

Clean and functional hotel. Standard breakfast buffet offerings. Would have loved more pillows (only four half-sized ones for a king bed). Aircon in room was very noisy.

Third visit, never disappoints. Friendly staff, good breakfast, handy to park.

The beds are not comfortable. Light bulbs 2 were out. Breakfast is good. Area pretty safe and close to devils lake.

Our week long stay gave us an opportunity to explore the towns nearby

Room was quiet and clean

Main issue was the bed was like sleeping on a rock formation with a dip in the middle and the pillows offer no support, they were like using air. The matresses need to be replaced and the pillows need to be larger and firmer.

It was fine.

Someone on the 6th floor is smoking in their room and the stench is filling the hallways.

The room was clean but did have a weird smell initially. The free breakfast was amazing! So yummy and so many options including oatmeal, biscuits and gravy, cereal, pastries, fruit, and much more! The pool was immaculate and the staff was super friendly and helpful! Thanks for everything!

Great

The person who checked us in was great; she was very friendly and efficient. Arrived in our room and discovered 2 buckets under the air conditioner, which was dripping. It wasn't terrible, but the moist carpet made the room smell musty. Also, we notice little gnats/bugs flying around by the bathroom mirror area. When we checked out this morning, we mentioned these 2 things to the person at the front desk, and he just shrugged and said "okay".

All was good

We only needed a short overnight stay while on a long road trip, so we arrived and left 7 hours later but I am very glad for that. First off, when we arrived the majority of the parking lot was roped off for repairs but then there were two coach busses parked across a lot of the remaining spaces. It was nearly 11pm and we were tired and unfortunately had to park all the way nearly in a neighboring parking lot. Walked all the way around the building to go check in, and the front desk told us there were no luggage carts for us to use to get our bags through the parking lot and to the other side of the hotel were our room was. So we lugged everything in, but when we got in the room there was no A/C on after a 90 degree day. The room was roasting and so humid the carpet felt wet and it smelled like your grandmas basement. Everything was sticky and gross. The bed covers were soiled. We got the A/C fan turned on and my son said “it sounds like someone’s just trying to start a car over and over but it’s not working.” The icing on the cake was the busses taking up the parking lot were apparently for some teenage sports teams who ran the lobby and halls being noisy until well after midnight. Needless to say - our attempt at stopping for rest was not at all restful. I would not stay here again.
