Excellent customer service by Harry. Room 16 has good heat and hot water, just make sure you turn the nob to the right (C), instead of tho the left (H). Somehow it works the other way around. For the price is the best, and it’s close walking to the gondola. I will be back . Thank you Harry for you kindness.

Small flies in the bathroom...turns out the bathmat that was folded for use was completely soaked before we even used it. Space heater in use, was told not to unplug it. That was concerning.

I was cold, the small electric heater there is in the room is not enough during the night and early morning to heat enough, and the morning that I was leaving my feet were frozen all morning while packing and walking around. Also, the second day I couldn’t take shower , I run the water for about 30 min, and when it was getting to be warm it got cold again, so I gave up .

Decent property in a nice area of South Lk Tahoe, clean room, lots of restaurants nearby, also a Whole Foods. Reasonably priced for the area. The room did not have AC, but it was comfortable as it cooled off in the evening and there were 2 fans in the room.

The web site said it had ac . When I arrived it did not I called you guys and you guys told me it didn’t. . So I wasn’t happy. And it was warm on Labor Day weekend .

If you don’t need A/C in your room then rent it. The entire motel has no A/C in any room, only window fan and little portable heater. I got a bad cold from staying on the night with 45 degree temperature.

The Travel Inn was perfectly fine! It was clean, bed was comfortable, check in was simple and friendly. Sure it’s a bit dated, but clean and comfy! We saw reviews before securing our reservation saying the rooms didn’t have AC, we came prepared with a fan, but the room was already equipped with two fans and a heater. We got lucky with the weather being cooler, so
We had no need for AC or heat. We sleep with a fan (year round) So this was perfect for us. (Our stay was Aug23)

Love this place when I come into town traveling super convenient and the ppl are super nice . They use to give out little sample stuff in the room but I guess they don’t anymore, either way still recommend, they luckily had a room here since when another property down the hill tried to scam me out of money. Thankfully this place is always open

This place was ok, no pool and the rooms didn't have air conditioning only very loud fans. We went during the summer so it was very hot. Everything else is good. The location is great. It is right in front of the lake and walkable to eating locations.

We made this reservation last minute. Honestly, it was the best deal at the time. We originally were staying with family, but family got sick and we chose Tavel Inn. The only complaint was the bathroom door was hard to shut and open. The room was very clean and comfortable for the short stay. We liked that there was a small refrigerator and microwave in the room.

The hotel does not have air-conditioning, so it is recommended not to come when the weather is hot.

The staff were very nice and helpful. The property is old and outdated. There is NO AIRCONDITION in rooms. Even though SLT is a winter resort town, the temps in summer - like most of CA - are triple digit. People need ac to sleep comfortably in summer.

This spot was in a good location. I could walk to places I needed to go, like the cvs or any food spot. The only real issue that I had with the room is that it needed proper cooling. The room only had a standing fan and a fan that was sat at the window. Tahoe doesn’t get too hot but it was around 90 degrees during our stay and you don’t want to sweat when you’re trying to sleep.
